So ND and I need to return to OH from TX to finalize fixing up and listing our house ......
Problem -
Need AC for us and furbabies
Need to take cycles to mechanic after oopsies
Need to take tools etc NORTH to work on house- will need cubic space to haul our preps SOUTH- currently in a storaway
Don't/ can't take all vehicles (30 ft MH, cargo van and 2 motorcycles)/Cost to run MH about 850 dollars EACH way
Van - empty about 360 dollars

Here is the solution- do not view w/mouthfull !

It looks like it works. And that's good enough.

I would've however liked to see some duck tape, quick ties and some hole filling bubble gum. :lkick:

My DH built something like that years ago to take deer hunting in South TX except they had a F350 to tow the trailer was longer and had 4 wheelers, fifty-five gal drums for waste water, fuel cans for generator, A/C and outdoor kitchen and shower. Reneck RV was its title.

Re: Duck tape

I went hi-class and bought WHITE duck tape! Course I was tempted by the leopard print stuff, but ND threatened to make me pull start the genny ifn I did.

Used bunji's instead of wire ties cuz we left the ties up north

I still have one can of 2" foam for the cracks, but the corner flashing did some covering of the worst corner matches. Of course, every cut was different, nothing is symmetrical (wow- a 25 cent word) and there's some white exterior paint to be slapped on the outside when I get a chance.

This too shall pass.
Hmmm. There's an idea I might be able to do something with! How did you fasten the camper down to the trailer?

I can see (for a more permanent setup) making storage compartments under the parts of the camper that you just closed in. The front area where you have motorcycles, I would close in for the goats! Then I'd still have the back of the pickup to carry stuff. My alternate thought was to put a camper on the pickup and tow a trailer, but I'm not sure how hard it is to get a camper on and off a pickup, and wouldn't want to leave it there full-time.

I have seen people take old horse & livestock trailers and convert them for hulling stuff and how many here have seen horse trailers that were made with a forward living area in it? Take an old trailer and fix it up and leave some space in the back to you can drive your 4 wheeler or motorcycle into it and easy to put tie downs where you need them.
