How a man decides who to marry

A man is dating three women and wants to decide which to marry so he gives them a test by giving each of them $5,000 and watches to see what they do with the money.​


The first does a total makeover. She goes to a fancy beauty salon, gets her hair done, new makeup and buys several new outfits and dresses up very nicely for the man. She tells him she's done this to be more attractive to him because she loves him so much.

The man was impressed.

The second goes shopping to buy the man gifts. She gets him a new set of golf clubs, some new gizmos for his computer, and some expensive clothes.

As she presents these gifts, she tells him that she has spent all the money on him because she loves him so much.

Again, the man is impressed.

The third invests the money in the stock market. She earns several times the $5,000. She gives him back his $5000 and reinvests the remainder in a joint account. She tells him that she wants to save for their future because she loves him so much.

Obviously, the man was impressed.

The man thought for a long time about what each woman had done with the money he'd given her.

Then, he married the one with the biggest tits.

Maiden does a vanishing act, only to be replaced by Sage here who BTW joined a MONTH ago and already has more posts than the cheif gerble, (much like maiden) and has a PIC of a face shot as her avatar (much like maiden)

Why are you being such a disingenuous troll? I use troll in the classic sense - a nasty being who lurks about under bridges to spring out on the unwary passer-by.

You well know that Maiden was booted off this site because she scammed thousands of dollars from several members and was insane. You have undoubtedly seen the other topics where Sage was slammed by empty-headed idiots who refuse to believe the Admins or Mods when they state "Sage is not Maiden!" Yet here you are again sowing your nastiness of innuendo and deceit in some vain hope of dragging another member down despite all of the warnings here (a toothless rule it would seem) about ganging up on or attacking other members in ad hominem attacks rather than addressing the content of their posts.

Perhaps it is jealousy of not having much to contribute? Maiden wasn't the only one here to rack up post counts with empty, pointless posts. They say "those who can post, those who can not criticize." You (and the handful of others) have shown which camp you fall into.

There is another possibility: Perhaps you are one of our less than loyal members who prefers "Uncle Bob's" or the aptly named "Slimebomb" and are over here trying to drag TB2K down into the sewer with those sites? Someone from here is busily reposting everything we say on those sites for the sole purpose of running this site down. Is that you?

No, as a matter of fact, I DIDN'T know that there were threads along this line.
No, I don't frequent Uncle Bob's. I just learned of it a couple weeks ago from MzKitty.
No, I had no idea maiden had scammed money from people.
No, I didn't know she was banned...I thought she just left.
And as I said in my 1st post....'maybe I'm outta the loop'.

I don't read EVERY thread on here, and had no idea the topic had been brought up before. I'm fairly new here and try to follow anything by Mzkitty, Neosgirl, & Fullwave.
As far as anyone else, I'm just not familiar with them.

I apologize for opening such a can of worms as this, I really didn't mean to ACCUSE anyone of ANYTHING (really)! Or make a 'personal attack'. I really didn't mean anything by it (and certainly didn't mean to be rude).

Sage, please accept my apologies, I certainly didn't mean to be rude or anything.

I'll try to read more of the posts in some of the areas I don't frequent too often. Maybe I can keep up with what's going on here.

I read through the whole fiasco and again, I apologize for beating what seems to be a dead horse.

Being the target of inuendo and aspersions does suck, doesn't it? I wish that the rest of the crowd saying what you did and worse were as easy to show the light. You've at least you had the decency to apologize. They've dragged it off to the sewer sites and some of them are spreading their insanity out to other real sites as well. What a bunch of losers they are.

The thread was originally in the main forum, sozo as it was a separate thread but a follow-up of sorts to another thread that was on the main pg. on a discussion of "the finger" emoticon; both got moved after a few days to the Community Corkboard section.

As for you saying you didn't mean to be rude, etc... then how do you explain your words in your post #5 above:

Pretty strong for not meaning to open a can of worms as you say and not meaning to be rude ....

You flat out said; "only to be replaced by maiden", indicating I was another maiden; you likened me to the chief gerbil (spelling corrected) by comparing my # of posts to hers; and brought up the choice of my avatar being the same type as hers (face shot). Sure sounds rude and intentional to me!

You may be out of the loop, sozo, but you certainly are in the groove - the one that some members have dug nice and deep.

I, too, recently learned about UBB & their spin-off of timebomb2000 called slimebomb2000 - they steal TB identities over there and post as them as well as talk trash about most everyone and everything from TB. You'll certainly be back in the loop if you hang with them.

Your further apologizing by the phraseology of: "sorry for beating a dead horse" translates to being sorry you chimed in so late rather than for the deed itself.

So basically, AFAIC, you can keep your half-assed apology, 'cos I ain't buying.

FWIW (IMHO) the "chief gerbil" was some sort of slap at Dennis who uses a laughing gerbil as his avatar.

I just re-read her (Sozo's) statement "I apologize for beating what seems to be a dead horse." rather than saying "I apologise for slamming you without any good reason." You're right Sage, it is a "half-assed apology."

Well, again let me chime in where I seem to be failing here.

I DID mean for it to be a sincere apology and no, I'm not apologizing for chiming in LATE, I'm apologizing for the accusations.

I apologise for slamming you without any good reason.
And I'm not slamming Dennis either. I called him the chief gerble because I've seen that phrase used on here before and thought it was slightly amusing (all in good fun)
Besides, offhand I don't know how to spell curmudgeon (I've been meaning to look that up).

And no Sage, I don't hang with the UBB crowd, I've been to that site once when Mzkitty mentioned it to me in a PM, and I've never heard of slimebomb and don't plan on visiting there either. This is the 1st time I've been involved in a spat on ANY board and don't plan on being involved in any more.

Again, I sincerely apologise and hope you'll accept that and the fact that I'm not as eloquent in my phrashing an apology, or my spelling.

And to sozo, ok, I'll accept your apology and thank you for it. Sad to say, I have had to learn the quick, hard way, to be on the defensive in just a few short weeks here on TB because of self-appointed judges, juries & executioners.

My thoughts, in general, as to 'relationships' here on TB2K (and other forums for that matter) is that not everyone has to be friends necessarily but by the same token, nor do they have to be enemies.

It is a good idea of yours to avoid the likes of UBB and slimebomb :shkr:

So, I guess I'll be seein' ya round these here parts and no doubt we'll bump into one another again (as opposed to bumping heads, heh) :lol:
