Well there seems to be a lot that is just around the corner. Hope I can get into my next work field before everything crashes.

I like reading your stuff Shinmen Takezo. Then, I suppose I'm also into very dark humor.

Yeah! I'm with you! What the 'ell did that ol' loser Paul ever do to make a name for hissef... you know, besides graduating from medical school, serving honorably as a US Air Force medical officer, delivering over 4000 babies as a physician, getting elected to Congress as one of the few members there who actually understood and abided by the US Constitution, raising a son who became a US senator, authoring several books and being seen as the "intellectual godfather" of the Tea Party movement. But besides those piddling accomplishments, I'm with you! I want to know what he ever did to make a name for himself, too!

Sparco, I'm with ya, man! Now post your resume and list of accomplishments so we can all see what a big loser Dr. Paul is compared to yourself! Go for it!

Best regards

Romney NEVER had the evangelicals on board, because he's a Mormon. Evangelicals would NEVER vote for a supposed non-Christian...

This in a nutshell is why Romney lost. It would appear that the evangelicals stayed home - 14 million no-shows at the polls (the drop in popular vote from 2008) gave the election handily to Obama.

Here in Middle TN is a strong evangelical base and as a group most voted for Mitt. I will go as far as to say most evangelicals I know across the country went with Mitt. Most just wanted Obama out.

I consider Baptists to be in the evangelical group, and it is my bet that virtually NONE OF THEM voted for Romney, but sat out the race instead. There are enough Baptists n this country to have swung the election in his favor. But of course, Romney isn't a "Christian"....

All the baptist folks I know did NOT vote for Obama..not sure if they voted for Romney. I'm not affilated with any church...I'm just a christian who loves God and tries my best to follow His ways....

I voted for Mitt...sure wish he would have won....sigh.....

Here is what I told you:

Romney will bow to Obammy just like McLame did. The Republisheep will stumble away kicking stones in the street as they go, thinking the election was fair and their voice was heard.

The stock market cannot crash since it is propped up by the PPT. There is no limit to the number of digits that the fed can provide the PPT to buy stocks that are dropping. This may be part of QE3.... or its the continuance of QE1.

Yes- they will audit the Fed, just like they audited Obama's birth certificate. All is well- no worries.

Gee, I live in AL, and I'm Baptist (not Southern Baptist, but still, Baptist) and AL had 72% voter turnout and yes Baptists were among those voting.

I know a lot of Baptists and most of them voted for R, although some didn't, but R being Morman had nothing to do with why they didn't vote for him. It was because they fell for the whole Grandma's going to be pushed over the cliff and they're going to eliminate SS crap coupled by the fact they are hardcore Democrats.

Until the conservative Christian abandon their mindless lockstep with the establishment, we are completely finished.
You will notice that Mitt-the-twitt held that obligatory meeting with a famous Christian leader prior to the election--and this happens each and every time to get the evangelicals on boards with the establishment candidate.

Conservative libertarianism is the way of the future once this country falls apart.

I have now come to accept that I am a relic. I am an angry old man who put his life on the line for this Republic (?) and paid a dear price in doing so. If we are to believe the vote count, it looks like over half of this nation wants something different than self-reliance and personal responsibility. I suppose we have gotten the government we deserve.

My country has left me. I should have seen it coming, but I still wanted to trust in the American people to do the right thing. That is no longer true. Too many will take personal comfort over freedom anymore. For this I blame my own generation, a collection of draft dodgers who are more concerned about losing their Volvo than their country.

The Founders were right. They gave to us a Constitutional Republic, and we turned it into a Banana Republic ruled by thugs and self interest. The slide downhill will be much more accelerated now. The hawks are circling the cadeaver of this once great nation. The feeding has begun.

Yup.

The fact that Romney is a warmonger made everyone feel all yummy inside.

Frankly, I am glad O won, as we only have to work like hell for the next 4 years to see if we can restore the rule of law and the Constitution. With Romney, we'd probably have 8 more years of empire building.

You presume a Constitutionalist will pick up the pieces.

I otherwise consider that a dictator will.

AWESOME.

Oh yeah, and giving his budget balance back to the treasury every year; making sure the Congressional budget did not go to the Legislative branch every year and waking up the rising generation to constitutional principles, free markets, and sound money.

They gave to us a Constitutional Republic, and we turned it into a Banana Republic

This. The Founding Fathers only expected their experiment to be successful until about 1860.... looks like they were right.

Remember what Daniel Webster said, regarding the Republic and the Consitution that defined it: Miracles do not cluster.

Like it matters anymore Warty. Chief Justice Roberts ('conservative' pick of GWB) cast the deciding vote in finding that Obamacare was legal. And then we can talk about the NDAA......

Doesn't matter anymore. There is a thin veneer of law and order in this country but it's only a veneer. Even the conservative justices on the supreme court are subverted. On something that really matters at least one of them will turn and uphold onerous legislation. It's just that they take turns in debasing themselves so it's not so apparent.

The historical record is unfortunately on the side of your prediction. The "run of luck" the US has had with leaders in crises either taking care of business or not really screwing up in an unrecoverable manner has been epic to say the least. To expect or ask for the next "Man on Horseback" to be cut from the same bolt of cloth as Washington is too presumptive I'm afraid. That all being said, we're definitely tracking more and more with Odom's book, America's Man on Horseback.

You propose to tell US that you knew more than we did in this election? Sorry dude, you haven't been around here long enough to tell at least ME "I told you so." Seriously? You are preaching to the choir for the most part around here amongst most of us who actually knew what was going to happen LONG before you were even a member here.

Something I remember from my younger days, goes like, if you have to resort to telling somebody, "I told you so" is just an indication of how immature you are.

When you come up with something original without insulting somebody, maybe I will subscribe to your newsletter.

People like this are the one's who are responsible for the destruction of this country... they're the one's who've been doubling down on stupid for decades.
"Younger days?!" --confirmed doubling down on stupid for decades.
And only an infantile intellect would be insulted by this thread.

Also--I did know more than most people here, and I held back comments.
I was going to publish an op-ed piece (like Galt) on Romney and his "Pollyanna on parade" campaign... what good it could have done, who the F knows?!
Romney (Mr. Goodie-two shoes) was playing a nicey-nicey, faggot form of soccer, while the communists were playing Australian rules football.
But it looked like in the last few weeks he was going to pull it off but I tossed it away--but I and the rest of us was really wrong.
I wish I had published it a month ago. Now it's time to toss this a-hole Romney and his cult church into the toilet where it and he belongs.

Well ST I'd look forward to reading that piece (seriously) if the above is a synopsis. Foot notes would be even more enlightening.
