Is it even possible to troll your own thread?
But at the end of the day, a protest vote is a protest vote that may well be wasted and you miss your chance at steering the ship in the right direction. If America ever gets to a three or four party situation with the right and left splitting into different parts of the spectrum then this idea of steering the ship and strategic voting becomes even more important. Some parliamentary democracies with multiple parties are certainly that way.
I'd just like to make a couple of observations:
1. Here we are calling each other names, blaming each other for a person none of us supported. Sounds pretty democratic to me.
2. When God defeated Israel's enemies, He frequently turned them against each other. Hmmm.
3. Some have already observed that there is no internal solution to the mess we are in. I agree.
4. When Solomon turned away from the LORD, God raised up enemies from the nations around Israel.
5. America has embraced the wickedness that Israel embraced, for the most part: the sacrifices of infants, the practice of gross immorality, dishonest measures, alliances with wicked nations, oppression of the faithful, and a corrupt legal system.
6 Apart from another Great Awakening, there is no hope of recovery for America. This is not just political corruption or a grand conspiracy. The blood of innocents is crying out for justice, just as the souls of the martyrs from under the altar, and the blood of Abel cried out from the ground. There will be no restoration apart from national repentance. None of us can do anything apart from crying out for mercy before the Almighty.
Let's stop this lunacy of blaming each other. Any of us who are hanging on to bitterness, immorality, dishonesty, all manner of double-dealing, or refusing to repent of our sins are having some part in the destruction of what used to be America. Oh, and anyone who has prayed the prayer Jesus taught has asked to be forgiven just as he has forgiven others. Not a real comforting thought, that one.
I just saw this pic of Romney. I wanted to post it, and ask that question. Look at the man's face. Closely. Look into his eyes. His vacant eyes. Look at his bland, mindless smile. Really, is THIS the guy you're going to support? What kind of job do you really think he'll do if he gets elected....?
Troll.
Well, contrary to popular opinion here, I don’t think we will see a “crash” as in economic, dollar, government or other, that I can define. There will of course continue to be greater loss of liberties, more government control, more corruption, more taxation and not the least, greater inflation. The devastation to this system as we know it, does not come at the had of man per se.
Obama will be re-elected as that is what is intended by those in control.
RP is but a speck on a gnat’s ass and of no important to anything. However, it shows how absurd people can become in their hope for ideologue salvation. And Ron Paul is the high priest of a particular ideology. That’s not to say much of the ideology is unfounded but it is, in the reality of where we are in the stream of time, unrealistic and will never come to manifestation. Therefore it is at best superfluous to pursue.
