I'm looking for a really good recipe for lemon meringue pie. The meringue I can do, but I'm not doing well at all on the filling. I was hoping to get some tips, tricks, and recipes. This is my husband's favorite pie, and although I'm a pretty good cook, I'm not doing well with this one.

DH loves lemon meringue pie and I always just do the Eagle Brand milk one with a graham cracker crust. You can put a meringue on it but cool whip or whipped cream is even better. I need to make him one.

I experimented with lemon fried pies a couple days ago. The filling was good but I think I can improve it.
