Food Libby's vegetable sale

I just noticed yesterday that a local Walmart has Libby's vegetables on sale for .50 a can. I saw corn, and green beans. Didn't notice if there were others, or how long the sale is good for. They were in a center isle, and I was in a hurry, so I grabbed one case on my way to the register. There is a coupon in one of the woman's magazines for them too, but I'm not sure which one. I saw it in somebody else's magazine a few days back.

Hmmm, searched my sources and can't find any coupons available for these at the moment - Checked the Libby's website as well, but all the printables I clicked on say "no longer available". Still, it's a a good deal at 50 cents a can... Thanks for the heads up - I'll be checking at my local Wal-Mart!! I usually buy one case per year of whole kernal corn and of cream style corn to use in making corn cassarole - the home frozen corn just doesn't work as well for some reason.

You're welcome! The coupon I saw was in my sister in laws magazine that she brought up a few nights ago. I never thought that it might be an old magazine though. She is out of town for a few days, so I can't ask her.

I'm sorry; I shouldn't post when I'm half asleep Sometimes the "All You" magazine and other magazine's coupons don't show up on the searches; I just searched a couple of coupon databases, the Libby websites, coupons.com, and some clipping services to see if there was anything else out there. Sadly, we just missed out on a $1/4 printable that would have been awesome to use

I wish I would have taken the coupon out of her magazine, if it was still good. She probably will never even use it.

Yes, I stumbled across the display at WallyWorld yesterday. I was really not planning on buying a lot more canned veggies this year, but did grab a dozen or so cans of peas. The checkout lady remarked on the price and said somebody had just come through and bought 6 cases.

Walmart still has the Libby's on sale for .59, and there was a coupon for $1.00 off on 4 cans in this past Sunday paper. Dollar General had their brand 3/$1.00 on Saturday. I don't know if that sale is over now or not.

Wow! Green beans are $2.59 a can at the Safeway here in Kodiak...going to run out to the Walmart tomorrow and see what I can find. Thanks for the tip! )

I read the tiny print for the walmart here and the libby veggies are on sale until Thanksgiving. The cases I bought have a "best by" date of 2017
