Misc Living Without a Dock

If you want to live without a place you pay to dock your RV....

This takes consideration. How do you purge waste, what about electric, how do you deal with water.....

My recent travels in a very rural state, led me to think that it is impractical to plan on disappearing with an RV. That is a very obvious mode of transport.

It may be possible to hide a box truck of some sort, but any RV is going to jump out and limit you in the community.

I've given it some thought and I think you can hide the rv with several of those camo-netting things. Out of the way campgrounds are good places to go, they usually have a dump station. You can dump gray water where ever, really, it's just sink and shower water. If there is no dump station, couldn't you dig a hole and treat it with something biodegradable? If you're at a campground there's always the pit toilets. As for water, maybe a nearby water source and a Katadyn purifier. It wouldn't be easy, but there's ways to git-R-done.

Yes, but camo netting would work best if you were somewhere you were allowed to be, I suppose. It wouldn't hide you in any day-to-day travel situation. I always liked those vehicles that didn't look like what they were. Like the modified box truck, so you could hide in plain sight, so to speak.
