Biden Regime Announces former COVID-Czar Jeff Zients as New Chief of Staff – Official Who Pushed for Forced Vaccinations

By Jim Hoft
Published January 22, 2023 at 6:05pm

As reported on Saturday, the “brains behind Biden,” Ron Klain, is expected to step down in the coming weeks.

Klain is believed to be the force behind the Biden regime and their disastrous policies.

Klain was previously the Chief of Staff for VP Al Gore and then VP Joe Biden. Klain famously said in 2014 that elections are rigged. That was before Republicans started losing landslide elections.

Klain’s departure comes as a blow to the Biden regime as the economy turns sour and the investigations into the Biden Family Crimes are expected to heat up in the coming weeks.

On Sunday afternoon the Biden White House announced that the former COVID czar Jeff Zients will replace Klain as Chief of Staff.

The Biden Family Looks Like a Mafia Family and Acts Like a Mafia Family – So Is It a Mafia Family?

By Joe Hoft
Published January 22, 2023 at 3:40pm

The Biden family looks like a mafia family, acts like a mafia family, is it a mafia family?

Former US Speaker Newt Gingrich wrote a piece this week about the Biden crime family – the Delaware Sopranos.

Newt shares:

Watching HBO’s “the Sopranos” can really help you understand the Biden family.

TRENDING: "I Want America to Wake Up and Pay Attention, Something Ain't Right!" - Silk Describes How Her Sister Diamond 'Died Suddenly' in Her Kitchen (VIDEO)

Between Hunter Biden’s laptop scandal, and the Bidens’ various shady private-equity schemes with foreign fraudsters, it’s not too hard to make the analogy.

President Joe Biden is clearly the head of a family. He has repeatedly exploited his public offices to make money. His son, Hunter Biden, is like the ambitious-but-dull son who wants to inherit the family business but always screws up. Some of what the Bidens have done is clearly inappropriate. Even more of what they have done is an abuse of public office. Most of what they have done is simply secret.

The best example of Bidens’ manipulation of the system for profit surrounds the Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement at the University of Pennsylvania. The center has given the Bidens remarkable access to Chinese Communist Party money. According to reports in the New York Post, the university, “raked in a total of $54.6 million from 2014 through June 2019 in donations from China, including $23.1 million in anonymous gifts starting in 2016.”

Newt is right.

Not only that, but TGP reported how Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, some individuals from China and at least one individual connected to the mafia in the US met in Obama’s White House at least once.

Texas border sheriff sends SOS: 'Illegal aliens wreaking havoc in our communities'

Kinney County sheriff sent letters to all 254 counties in Texas, 75 counties in Arkansas and 77 counties in Oklahoma asking for help.

By The Center Square Staff
By Bethany Blankley
Updated: January 22, 2023 - 7:00am

Kinney County, Texas, Sheriff Brad Coe is pleading for help from his colleagues in three states as his department is overwhelmed by the surge in illegal foreign nationals who are "wreaking havoc in our communities.”

Coe sent letters to sheriffs in all 254 counties of Texas, all 75 counties in Arkansas and all 77 counties in Oklahoma asking for help to defend his residents from the surge in illegal immigration.

The border crisis “has made all counties a border county,” he argues, and it’s “imperative that we stand ready here at the border in order to protect and serve.”

Kinney County was the first to issue a disaster declaration in Texas, on April 21, 2021. It also was the first to declare an invasion on July 5, 2022. One of the smallest, rural counties in Texas, it shares 16 miles of border with Mexico.

As mostly single young military age men enter Texas illegally through ports of entry and intentionally evade law enforcement, they commit a range of crimes, he said, including engaging in shootouts with law enforcement. DPS state troopers and sheriffs from Goliad and Galveston counties have provided assistance, but the volume of men coming through mostly from Central American countries is too much for them to apprehend, he said.

Even with the aid, law enforcement officers “are stretched to the breaking point to successfully maintain operations. We are therefore expanding our request and calling upon the people of Texas and beyond for your help,” he wrote fellow sheriffs.

Coe’s county of only two stoplights “consists of 3,129 souls” who heavily rely on ranching and hunting to sustain themselves. Coe, who’s one of the sheriffs who's most familiar with the Texas-Mexico border, is a retired Border Patrol agent. He said he knows where people are coming in and how to stop them. And he’s never seen the volume he’s seeing now, he told The Center Square.

Coe is asking other sheriffs to provide manpower, equipment and operational assistance. The county also needs help on the judicial and prosecutorial side, County Attorney Brent Smith told The Center Square. Although they’ve received some from the state, it’s not enough, Smith said. All the funding from the state’s Operation Lone Star already has been allocated, he added.

“Our homes are being broken into in the middle of the night,” Coe wrote his colleagues. “The local school district has been forced to erect military barricades around campus to protect students from smugglers evading law enforcement. Walking outside on our own property after dark is no longer safe. The residents of Kinney County no longer enjoy the comfort and safety of their own home. Words cannot adequately describe the conditions on the ground and the daily threats we have been forced to contend with.”

“Under normal circumstances, our county would not support a large or robust law enforcement presence,” he continued. “However, these are extraordinary times.”

Despite being overrun, outnumbered and stretched thin, he maintains hope, saying he’s “empowered by our constitution, our citizens, and our governor to establish working coalitions and taskforces to uphold the law and ensure the peace in our state.”

He also cites authorization from the governor to form coalitions to “combine their resources and coordinate their activities to successfully protect their own residents.”

Texas has borne the brunt of illegal activity stemming from the border as nearly 1.8 million people were apprehended or evaded capture by Border Patrol agents in fiscal 2022, according to data obtained by The Center Square.

While private military contractors have previously offered support, their costs are prohibitive, exceeding the entire county’s budget, Kinney County Sheriff spokesperson Matt Benacci told The Center Square, with start-up costs in the million-dollar range.

Funding received from the state must be approved by the state and these funds have already been allocated or spent, including on prosecutorial and judicial support and hiring additional law enforcement officers, purchasing equipment and other resources, he said.

Smith, who’s office was the first to successfully prosecute criminal trespassers through Operation Lone Star, told The Center Square that his office is helping to prosecute a volume of cases that only larger counties would normally handle. With only one secretary assisting him, his office went from prosecuting 10 cases a month to 500 last February. Those numbers have only gone up, he said..

Since August 2021, Kinney County officers have made more than 5,000 arrests on misdemeanor and evading on foot charges, far exceeding the number of arrests made in all Texas border counties.

Smuggling arrests in fiscal 2022 in Kinney County totaled 3,045, according to data obtained by The Center Square from the District Attorney’s office. By comparison, they totaled 67 in fiscal 2021 and 64 in fiscal 2020.

All felony arrests and charges from January 2021 to January 2023 totaled 5,524, according to the DA’s office. And arrests would be higher if there were more law enforcement officers in the field, Smith said.

On Friday, Border Patrol agents encountered a group of single men who’d stolen an all-terrain vehicle, a rifle, several hundred rounds of ammunition and knives from a resident’s home, Smith said. That’s after others broke into another home. Thefts like this are a weekly occurrence, he said.

“If homeowners call DPS, there’s no one to respond,” he told The Center Square. “If they call Border Patrol, there’s no one to respond. If they call the sheriff’s office, there are no brush teams to respond. We’re literally on our own. We will take any aid from any law enforcement agency willing to help us.

“There may not be bullets and guns involved every day but what we’re dealing with is a war zone.”

Sheriffs interested in providing aid are encouraged to call Coe’s office.

Has artificial intelligence become dangerously woke?

By Robert Arvay

The first time I ever played chess against a computer, I won. It was a very simple computer, running a very simple program, but my paltry skills at chess had some difficulty in outwitting it. In the end, however, I felt the same "thrill of victory" as I would have felt in defeating a human opponent. After all, in the competition between man and machine, I had prevailed. Take that, you computer!

I remember wondering how the computer felt about its loss. Was it sad? Frustrated? Angry or embarrassed?

Most of us understand that computers have no feelings at all. It is only because computers can be made to mimic human behaviors that we may sometimes think of them as having some human traits, such as emotion or intention, but they don't. They are mindless objects.

Lately, the efforts by humans to make computers to mimic humans have become more intense, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence (A.I.) and robotics. The "help desk" that you access on your computer may use A.I. to answer your questions about a product you bought, or even a medical problem you may be having. There is even discussion about enabling some armed robots to make impromptu decisions concerning the use of lethal force against humans — for example, in the areas of military or law enforcement. It's like chess, but with profound moral and legal consequences.

Currently, there is the popularity of a more benign use of A.I. It can be used as a conversation partner in a "chat" format. Users can ask the A.I. a question and receive impressive-sounding responses — anything from simple one-liner comments to full blown book-length essays. One important development from this is that students can use A.I. to write term papers, even without having studied the subject, or indeed knowing anything about it, giving the appearance of hard work and expertise. Unfortunately for the student, the A.I. does not guarantee accuracy.

It has come to light that, as with so many people in the computer software industry, those who program the A.I. "chat bots" are predominantly leftist in their personal views, as are the top tier of their managers. Their "woke" opinions are aggressively imposed into the output of the A.I. Thus, the A.I. has become a tool of propaganda, not of accuracy or truth. The purveyors are closely aligned with powerful government agencies. Thus, when one asks the A.I. what it "thinks" about a certain subject, it tells the user not what the A.I. thinks (because it does not think), but rather what the user himself should think, according to the propagandists. Josef Goebbels would be jealous.

If these trends in A.I. continue along their present course, decision-making by armed robots may wind up being taken completely out of the hands of humans, including judgments about when to shoot and at whom. The decisions will be mindless reactions to algorithms imposed by people who are not like us, but more like machines. Orwell's 1984 may soon look tame by comparison. That comparison may be to the Book of Revelation, Chapter 13, verse 15:

The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.

Of course, that could never happen. Just ask the A.I.

Against the Backdrop of Western Energy Policy, Media Begin Understanding the Scope of a Created Global Food Crisis

January 22, 2023 | sundance |

We have been watching the predictable outcomes surrounding the western government shift to change energy policy for almost two years. Approximately a year ago we first said, “the absence of food will change things.”

As energy resources like natural gas were curtailed the resulting price increase and subsequent shortage of fertilizer was discussed in great detail well in advance.

Now, we are starting to see exactly what those warning voices were talking about.

An interesting article in ZeroHedge Saturday [SEE HERE] draws attention to how the media can no longer try to ignore the created global food crisis.

ZeroHedgePeople on the other side of the planet are dropping dead from starvation right now, but most people don’t even realize that this is happening. Unfortunately, most people just assume that everything is fine and dandy. If you are one of those people that believe that everything is just wonderful, I would encourage you to pay close attention to the details that I am about to share with you. Global hunger is rapidly spreading, and that is because global food supplies have been getting tighter and tighter.

If current trends continue, we could potentially be facing a nightmare scenario before this calendar year is over. (read more)

The article then goes on to detail the issues and food shortages in Pakistan, India and the entire African continent. Factually, according to media reports on the region, the worst food crisis in history is happening – yet most U.S. and European Union media are avoiding it. The famine is happening in almost complete western silence.

Keep in mind, none of this is unexpected. In fact, the G7 countries discussed the pending problem in mid 2022, yet no one took any steps to avoid it.

Vladimir Putin’s military action against eastern Ukraine had nothing to do with the severe food shortages and inflation in Sri Lanka {link}. Nor did Russia have any influence over the Dutch government trying to stop food production {link}. Additionally, Putin had no control over Justin Trudeau’s decision to limit harvest yields by blocking the use of nitrogen-based fertilizer {link}. More importantly, it was not Vladimir Putin who forced all the western politicians to sign up for a new ‘climate friendly’ energy program that is destroying the ability of western farms to generate higher yield crops.

You do not need to be a farmer to understand that nitrogen/phosphorus-based industrial fertilizer has been the reason why farm yields have generated massive amounts of food on a global basis. The United States, Canada, the U.K. and places like the Netherlands have massively increased their ability to generate food for export, in large part due to the success of improved fertilizer and crop saving modern pesticides. Take those farming advancements away under the guise of climate change and you get Sri Lanka, Pakistan and now the African Continent.

Those western climate and energy policies create downstream consequences. The decision to chase a new global energy policy under the name “Build Back Better,” in combination with short-sighted EU sanctions against Russia, and you get food shortages.

It was not Vladimir Putin who told British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz their proactive recommendation to switch from crop-based biofuels to human food would be blocked. That G7 decision was made by Justin Trudeau and Joe Biden. {link} Even more significantly, it was not Russia who threatened the multinational energy companies about investing in Africa for expanded natural gas supplies for their fertilizer needs. That threat came from the same western government alliance, per their instructions from the World Economic Forum group {link}.

It was predictable {JUNE 21st} {June 30th} and {July 6th} that western government leaders would seek to avoid responsibility for the food crisis they created, and throughout the latter part of 2022 we saw western media trying, desperately, to frame Russia for global food shortages in order to protect western politicians.

I said this in July of last year and as the consequences now surface it is even more critical to understand.

Joe Biden, NATO, the G7, the European Union, the World Bank, USAID, and every western leader in the United States and Europe stated in early and mid 2022 there will be food shortages in 2023.

They did not say there might be shortages; their statements were emphatic, there will be shortages.

Accept this basic cornerstone. Then ask why not a single proactive step has been taken by any of the aforementioned institutions or governments to alleviate what they declare is a certainty. Why?

Simple question, “why?”

If all of the western nations, non-govt organizations and heads of state, are aware of a coming food crisis, why is there no proactive response?

It is a question that even the most hardcore leftists will not answer, because there is only one answer. No action is being taken because they do not want to take action. No effort to avoid the crisis is being done, because they do not want the crisis avoided.

Peel all the layers of obfuscation and causation away, and what we find is the epicenter of the food shortage is directly the result of the Build Back Better agenda. A post-pandemic western government deliberate decision to radically change global energy development. In succinct terms, the climate change agenda.

However, regardless of how you feel about the validity of “climate change,” the cause of diminished food supplies is purposeful. It is not climate change causing food shortages. It is the purposeful action taken under the guise of mitigating climate change that is causing the shortage of food.

The collective Build Back Better energy policy of western governments’ is the reason for massive increases in energy costs, massive oil price jumps, gasoline price increases, significant increases in chemical costs, increases in diesel fuel costs, shortages of fertilizer created using natural gas, and the end result is lower crop yields, higher farming costs and eventually, food shortages. They knew this.

All of the organizations and government who have been decrying the future shortage of food, know it is the radical shift in energy resource development that is creating the crisis.

This acceptance of reality begins the framework to understand just how entrenched and committed these western leaders are toward their beloved climate change agenda.

We are only just now beginning to see the first aspects of the food shortage. However, once the issue becomes unavoidable the western leaders will not and cannot accept the blame for what they have done. They will blame-cast, excuse and justify what is surfacing.

Food shortages will be blamed on the Ukraine conflict, Russian aggression, climate change and any various iteration of justification that does not identify the true cause, their energy ideology.

I’m not so sure that people fully understand what the entire system of western government would be willing to do to avoid being blamed for avoidable death on a potential scale that is quite alarming. All of the western leaders, institutions and governments are on the same boat. They are all in this together.

(June 22, 2022) – (Reuters) – The European Union is divided on how to help poorer nations fight a growing food crisis and address shortages of fertilizers caused by the war in Ukraine, with some fearing a plan to invest in plants in Africa would clash with EU green goals.

The need for food “clashes with EU green goals.”… Let that sink in.

Priorities!

War, Famine and Disease: The Confluence of Constructed Scenarios Brings Us Closer to Catastrophe and One World Government

How far down this constructed war continuum do we go before the unthinkable happens?

BY POLITICAL MOONSHINE
JANUARY 21, 2023

Event 201 was the October 2019 pandemic response tabletop exercise that was conducted by the World Economic Forum, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Johns Hopkins.

Two months later, COVID-19 broke out. Catastrophic Contagion was a similar tabletop exercise conducted held on 23 Oct 22 by the WHO, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Johns Hopkins. Approximately two months later, we saw the emergence of the SARS Omicron XBB.1.5 variant as the most virulent one so far. Food Chain Reaction was the 2015 tabletop exercise for a global food crisis currently underway.

These are all constructed scenarios being forced down our collective throats by an unelected cabal, and those scenarios represent a confluence of dynamic forces bringing us all closer to catastrophe and, ultimately, a One World Government.

As I continue to reiterate, there’s a distinct difference between what is happening to us and what is being done to us.

It’s who is doing it that’s as problematic as it is infuriating. With China as the hammer to all nails and the intelligence community underpinning it all and existing beneath the surface of the geopolitical undercurrent, a cartel of Globalists has infiltrated and hijacked governments worldwide, leveraging the CCP’s technocratic brand of Marxist communism as the enforcement mechanism. Their leadership cohort is Klaus Schwab and his World Economic Forum.

The crime family occupying the White House – for the time being – is the central node to all of it. Just like the Bidens connect to war through their corruption in energy, which I reexamined in this recent article, they enmesh in Ukraine, connecting to biowarfare in Ukraine and the COVID-19 “pandemic” through Metabiota and other means. Moreover, Hunter Biden threads through the ongoing food crisis through UN’s Global Food Program.

What is happening versus what is being done? Failing to discern that distinction arises to a fatal mistake.

This is the 100th article in the War, Famine & Disease series. In this recent article, I examined Event 201 relative to Catastrophic Contagion. In this article, I examined the accurately projected emergence of XBB.1.5. In this article, I examined the UN’s Food Chain Reaction exercise, noting that the Biden connections are linked above.

Overlaying both the aggregate work in the War, Famine & Disease series and new developments below that further evidence it all is the ongoing meeting of Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum in Davos.

In a recent and brief three-post Twitter thread, I noted another vector for another and likely forthcoming global catastrophe designed to put all of us under their thumb with a boot on the back of our necks while relegating us to life on the technocratic global plantation.

The vector for that global catastrophe is a massive cyber attack to put us all back in the Dark Ages. Is this Joe Biden’s promised “Dark Winter?” The evidence would suggest so. Consider:

View: https://twitter.com/i/status/1614846135486795776
.35 min

Take the time to watch the very brief video above. It delivers ominous details.

I followed up on that thread with this one, which is also worth taking the time to briefly spin through. It’s comprised of details surrounding the trafficking of U.S. classified and secretive information; especially documentation about weapons platforms and systems, that envelops the Penn Biden Center, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton’s private and unsecured server, and the prospects of surviving a precursory cyber attack followed by a full-on kinetic attack on the U.S. mainland. In short, they’re not good.

1674453286187.png
1674453318096.png

With the contextual backdrop established, let’s move on to new developments:

War
  1. 10 Jan 23: A Day In The Life: Southern California’s Fentanyl Crisis: Recall the position that I established on 06 May 20: the U.S. is embroiled in an asymmetrical, irregular and undeclared war against China that aligns precisely with Chinese doctrine, Chinese warfare doctrine, and China’s first priority warfare vector: biowarfare. An aspect of this war was the long-term exportation of U.S. middle-class jobs by a complicit U.S. politburo to China to be replaced by the rampant importation of fentanyl. That’s asymmetrical and irregular war, folks. Read the article to examine the catastrophic effects knowing that China is the leader in the U.S. importation of fentanyl.
  2. 19 Jan 23: US Finalizing Next Ukraine Military Aid Package At $2.6 Billion: Ukraine is a massive hub of corruption and money laundering operations enveloped by war as a mechanism for the Western Empire to continue its encroachment on Russia with designs for regime change. I discussed Russian regime change in this article: War Fixes Everything and It’s Why They Need It. These operations include driving huge profits for the Military Industrial Complex. Consider: “The US is in the final stages of preparing a massive new military aid package to Ukraine which will total as much as $2.6 billion, the Associated Press previewed Wednesday night, and its to include nearly 100 Stryker combat vehicles – marking the first time the Stryker will be introduced to the Ukrainian battlefield – and at least 50 Bradley Fighting Vehicles.”
  3. 19 Jan 23: Medvedev Warns Russia’s Defeat In Ukraine Would Mean Nuclear War: This series has arduously evidenced the trajectory to a thermonuclear multiple-front war since the Biden White House reversed the Pentagon’s position on its inability to defeat China in a kinetic war over Taiwan, much less emerge successfully fighting a two-front war against Russia and China. It’s unparalleled work. Consider: “Outspoken former Russian president and current deputy chairman of the security council Dmitry Medvedev has issued his latest stark warning to the West on Thursday, saying that if Russia is on the brink of defeat, nuclear war is likely to follow. He made the comments in a post on the Telegram messaging app. “The defeat of a nuclear power in a conventional war may trigger a nuclear war,” he began. “Nuclear powers have never lost major conflicts on which their fate depends,” the former president, who in prior years had actually been seen as more dovish when compared to Putin, added. Medvedev’s comments came in reaction to news of a major meeting of Western defense leaders set for Friday at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.”
  4. 19 Jan 23: Dozens Of WikiLeaks Cables Show US Knew NATO Expansion Was Russia’s Bright Red Line: In furtherance of my longstanding positions on Ukraine and NATO as a provocateur respective to my arduously evidenced positions on the deliberate escalation to war, Joe Biden intends to intentionally lose; hence the aforementioned White House reversal, consider: “A review of the public record and many dozens of diplomatic cables made publicly available via WikiLeaks shows that US officials were aware, or were directly told over the span of years, that expanding NATO was viewed by Russian officials well beyond Putin as a major threat and provocation, that expanding it to Ukraine was a particularly bright red line for Moscow, that it would inflame and empower hawkish, nationalist parts of the Russian political spectrum, and that it could ultimately lead to war.”
  5. 19 Jan 23: US Considering Helping Ukraine Strike Crimea: I have long contended that Crimea is a critical Russian national security and national defense location primarily because the port city of Sevastopol is home to Russia’s Black Sea Fleet. Any encroachment on Crimea by a combined U.S./Ukraine in a manufactured war becomes an immediate interface for direct kinetic warfare between the U.S. and Russia. Any such reckless policy stands to jeopardize the entire world. Consider: “The New York Times reported Wednesday that the US is warming to the idea of helping Ukraine strike Crimea, something the Biden administration has previously avoided due to the risk of provoking a major response from Russian President Vladimir Putin. Citing unnamed US officials, the report said that after months of discussions with Ukrainian officials, the administration is now “starting to concede that Kyiv may need the power to strike the Russian sanctuary, even if such a move increases the risk of escalation.”
  6. 20 Jan 23: Pentagon Already Sees Ukraine War Going Well Past 2023: In evidence of the Pentagon and the Military Industrial Complex desiring to maintain its profitable war enterprise that includes weapons and money laundering operations, they both seem poised to maintain the status quo indefinitely. The only question remains: How long will Vladimir Putin and Russia permit it to continue it can’t be long; it’s untenable and unsustainable? Consider: “We’ve not so much as reached one full month into 2023, and the United States top-ranking general is already predicting the war in Ukraine will surely not end this year. US Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Mark Milley issued a broad view assessment on the state of the battlefield while attending a US-hosted meeting in Germany at Ramstein airbase among allied defense ministers, which had as its focus sending more arms to Ukraine. Gen. Milley said: “From a military standpoint, I still maintain that for this year, it would be very, very difficult to militarily eject the Russian forces from all, every inch of… Russian-occupied Ukraine.”

Famine
  1. 21 Jan 23: The Mainstream Media Admits That We Are Facing “The Worst Food Crisis In Modern History”: Just like the multiple-front war that is beginning with Russia in Ukraine and will expand to China over the Taiwan/South China Sea; and the COVID-19 “pandemic,” the food crisis is a manufactured construct. The evidence for it begins with the tabletop exercise evidenced above. Consider: “People on the other side of the planet are dropping dead from starvation right now, but most people don’t even realize that this is happening. If current trends continue, we could potentially be facing a nightmare scenario before this calendar year is over.“
  2. 21 Jan 23: Global Food Crisis: WFP reports 828 million hunger cases due to conflicts & climate: Note the evidence of the constructed crisis by means of the UN’s World Food Program that enmeshes Hunter Biden. Consider: “The economic shocks, climate issues, conflicts & wars, & inflation are creating a global food crisis of unprecedented proportions. World Food Programme (WFP) reports about 828 million people are unsure of whether their next meal is coming or not.”

Disease
  1. 19 Jan 23: CDC Knowingly Left Serious Adverse Events Off Post-Vaccination Surveys, Documents Show: What makes Moonshine different is that it was first to establish the COVID-19 “pandemic” as a construct of enterprise fraud. The full corpus of that work exceeds 350 articles. The commission of enterprise fraud continues on the back end to further hide and obfuscate the damage being caused by the mRNA injections, which are clearly bioweapons. Consider: “The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) didn’t include serious adverse events like heart inflammation on post-vaccination surveys even though the agency knew the issues could be linked to COVID-19 vaccines, documents show.”
  2. 20 Jan 23: Prominent CNN Doctor Concedes US Has Been ‘Overcounting’ COVID-19 Deaths: In February and March of 2020, I began evidencing how the federal apparatus was engaged in comorbidity data harvesting to whip up a “pandemic” out of thin air by propagating harvested infection and mortality data from comorbidities as COVID-19 data. Consider: “A doctor who appeared prominently in the media during the pandemic acknowledged this week the United States is “overcounting” COVID-19 deaths and stressed the need for “transparent reporting” on the real numbers.“
  3. 20 Jan 23: Davos Plans For The Next Pandemic – Suggests National Digital Infrastructures To Track Vaccination: Recall the evidence that the WEF planned and then colluded to execute the COVID-19″ “pandemic,” meaning that it was executed for ulterior objectives that I broadly paint as placing humanity under their rule as humanity is relegated to live on the technocratic global plantation. Consider: “The World Economic Forum’s Davos discussions often require some “reading between the lines” to understand what is really being said by the globalist participants, but not much interpretation is needed these days. Ever since the pandemic event, along with the lockdowns and the attempts to introduce vaccine passports, establishment representatives have been far more open about their agenda and their intentions for the future. After all, it was Klaus Schwab that called covid a “rare but narrow window of opportunity” to implement the “Great Reset” of the current economic and political order. The past few years have shown that the Davos crowd still clings to the fading pandemic panic as the “good old days” when they could have had anything they wanted, including total centralization.”

1674453356196.png

Concluding Remarks
For anyone dismissive of what amounts to an enormous body of excruciatingly detailed work that is all sourced and cited for the purpose of submitting water-tight evidence, consider the following respective to constructed crises designed to relegate us all to life on the technocratic global plantation under the rule of a single cohort of tyrannical, Marxist, communist, Globalist criminals and worse: Davos Attendee Says ‘Quiet Part Out Loud’: Agenda Is To Create A “New World Order”.

I’ve spent much time dedicated to exposing Dynastic Bush and positioning George H.W. Bush as the head of the snake. His objective was clear: establishing a One World Government by means of a New World Order. Consider:

“A Davos speaker explicitly outlined the World Economic Forum’s agenda when he stated that the goal was to create a “new world order.” The remarks were made during the annual elitist confab yesterday by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Pakistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. “Here at WEF…there’s a lot of discussion about what the new world order will be…how do we work towards that new normative international order that allows us to address our differences and disputes as the civilized world,” said Zardari.” – Paul Joseph Watson, Summit News at Zero Hedge

I often say that there’s a zero percent chance that I’m wrong about COVID-19 being a construct of enterprise fraud. There is no other plausible or rational explanation for anyone with a modicum of common sense and a logical and objective mind.

I feel equally confident about my analysis of the multiple-front war scenario, the food crisis, the energy crisis, and more. The only remaining question is how far down this constructed war continuum do we go before the unthinkable happens?

Unfortunately, I’m not at all confident in the answer to that question or in that particular outcome.

God help us.

Or better yet, wake up, people, and help yourselves.

-End-

Darien Gap, Panama

We are down here in Darien on a mission. Panamanian Senafront is very professional and amazingly helpful.

Oscar Blue, Ben Bergquam, Matt Tomlett, and I, are left. Matt Bracken had to fly home today to America — the Long Haired general ordered him home, lol. We miss him already.

Last night, Oscar blessed dinner before the dangerous days ahead. Oscar said during blessing, “God, your plan is our mission.” Everyone likes it so much that today Oscar made a walking stick in Spanish, and English, with the blessing.

Please do say a prayer. We will come back with the information needed. And thank you to Panamanian government and Senafront.

Concepts:

Asymmetric Information Warfare - the strategic and tactical ‘information battlefield’

Asymmetric Information Syndrome - the ‘illness’ being suffered as a result of ‘AIW’

Asymmetric Information Gathering & Processing - the ‘information gathering’ and processing facilities that enable one to bypass Asymmetric Information Warfare & Syndrome

Totalitarian Thought Model - the process by which ‘enslavers’ attempt to ‘enslave’

Asymmetric Information Warfare is being conducted all around you on a personal level — whether you are fully immersed in its inherent all-encompassing scope and true nature or not. It causes a complication in those vulnerable and targeted which can be described as Asymmetric Information Syndrome — which can often lead to fatal consequences.

Asymmetric Information Syndrome is what happens when you do not have access to a technically correct answer early enough to protect yourself from harm. Education, credentialing, and life experience matter less than information consumption habits, tendencies, foresight, and retrospective processing faculties.

At its most basic level, this can simply mean being a day behind the reception of life-altering, critical decision making information, such as awareness of an approaching hurricane or blizzard, a storm. Not something you want to be caught unprepared for. At a more prescient level — this might mean becoming aware, 2+ years late, of life-saving information about the potential dangers presented by untested and unvetted mRNA Gene Serum and their associated technologies. Also not something you want to be caught unprepared for.

It’s never too late to begin the process of counteracting Asymmetric Information Syndrome. In order to do this, one must attempt at all costs to avoid Totalitarian MindRape by strengthening one’s innate ability to conduct Asymmetric Information Gathering & Processing.

How do you do this?

Increase the breadth and scope of information consumed on a daily basis which is not driven by the ‘Totalitarian Thought Model.’ In order to do this, you must actively seek out sources of information and place them on an internal spectrum in terms of inherent usability. Begin to treat your information gathering process as one might treat an intelligence collection procedure — carefully discarding, vetting, discarding again, curating, discarding again, and then sharing relevant information in a timely manner.

Totalitarian MindRape is the procedural framework upon which the ‘WEF’, the ‘CCP’, the ‘overseers,’ the ‘lizard people,’ and countless other organizations which depend on the Totalitarian Thought Model orientation operate and attempt to persuade, coerce, or otherwise tamper with minds. The would-be Totalitarian MindRapists don’t care about the validity of their arguments, the safety of their medical advice or forced decision-making, or anything like that — they simply seek to tamper and alter by subterfuge, rather than by fair-minded analysis.

As my good friend Michael Yon says: it’s time to ‘skip the bullshit’ and move things along to the next phase of the discussion. It’s Total War, but if you don’t have a mental armament to deal with the reality of that war, you may very well lose.

In order to accelerate this understanding, one must first arm themselves with the underlying conceptual mental frameworks upon which Totalitarians (which are operating all around you) who conduct MindRape are operating. The importance of immersing & familiarizing yourself with the thought processes which underpin the enslaved slave-driving (not an oxymoron) Totalitarian Thought Model cannot be understated. These strategies are multi-faceted. This piece will break down several components of ‘Asymmetric Information Warfare’ as they relate to the Totalitarian Thought Model.

Fundamentally, at least in the case of most current analytical decision making frameworks and methodologies — the concept of ‘Information Asymmetry’ is critical. Information Asymmetry occurs when there is any gap in knowledge between 2 or more parties present to a ‘transaction.’ This transaction can be economic, medical, social, and/or along any type of axis theoretically possible. A simple exchange of ideas between two parties is enough to be considered an Asymmetrical exchange of Information — where, presumably, one party knows more about a particular topic when compared to the other party.

It is the task of marketers, salesmen, and con-men to convince you by way of Asymmetric Information Operations that you have a particular need for what they are offering. This may be tangible goods, services, or even a particular line of thinking.

Since there is simply no definitive how-to guide on how to spot Asymmetric Information Operations — nor is there a way to isolate an Asymmetric Information Virus — it’s best to use a working example, followed by a real world example.

A working example would be — if you were trying to purchase a used car, but the owner neglected to tell you the engine burns oil — you’ve been victimized by an ‘Asymmetric Information Operation.’

A real world example would be — if you had to choose between an mRNA Gene Serum Injection, but didn’t get the intelligence they were Deadly Toxic to Humans in time — you’ve been victimized by an ‘Asymmetric Information Operation.'

5 Stages of Grief: 'Bargaining'

Some are reaching the 'bargaining' stage on the topic of Genetic Serum Injections. Finding solutions and 'acceptance' is a critical step soon to be reached.

https%3A%2F%2Fbucketeer-e05bbc84-baa3-437e-9518-adb32be77984.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fff2d4313-bd15-4be8-866a-af19a5276626_500x500.png

At this stage — it’s simply a matter of successful or unsuccessful attempts to ‘remedy’ the incalculable harm and damage being done to the injected to whatever extent is reasonably possible. All conversations and/or discussions around who was ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ are now to be classified as ‘fruitless.’ Because not all conversations are worth having.

Listen closely to Scott Adams (Dilbert creator) entering the ‘Bargaining’ phase of grief (while occasionally phasing back to the ‘Anger’ phase) particularly around his attempts to reason about the approach other people had to his personal coming to terms with rejection of the mRNA injections.

Mr. Adams also spends his time delving into a study trying to link education to injection uptake. This is a similarly fruitless endeavor — much as broadly categorizing his audience into several groups is fruitless. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter why someone personally rejected the mRNA Gene Serum technology, the lipid nanoparticles, or any other component of the injections.

None of his topics begin to approach the predicament he and billions of others now find themselves in. Neither do most conversations regarding mRNA Gene Serum injections and their associated injuries.

The solution to this problem, in part, has already been carried out safely across Africa many, many times to cure illnesses such as river blindness.

It can be done with mass (should it be mandated? how about for critical workers?) administration of Ivermectin and other commonly available, and several other safely vetted medicines.

Any discussions that are not solely focused around the ‘Acceptance’ phase of the failed mRNA Gene Serum injections will be classified as similarly fruitless.

Below are several images worth drilling into and applying to this ‘conversation’ — which is, on its face, the wrong ‘conversation’ to be having about the Gene Serums.

VIJAY JAYARAJ: Here’s Why the World Is Producing More Food

Daily Caller News Foundation logo
VIJAY JAYARAJ
CONTRIBUTOR
January 21, 2023

Countries all over the world are surpassing previous records for production of food crops. This is good news that stands in stark contrast to the apocalyptic picture that the media paints daily in reports on climate and weather.

Because food is fundamental to human survival, even a slight increase in its price can significantly affect millions – even billions – of people. “When food fails, everything fails,” said Geraldine Matchett, Co-Chair of the CEO Alliance on Food, Nature and Health.

So, it is not surprising that the purveyors of fear present climate change as the biggest threat to the world’s food security. Endlessly recycled articles and TV programs constantly peddle the misinformation that a supposedly dangerously warming Earth poses a risk to crops or is already destroying them.

However, in the real world, data show historically high crop production all over the globe. This is because climate change has aided in the proliferation of food crops, as well as other vegetation. Abundant harvests continue to affirm this. As in previous years, 2023 is expected to produce records for agricultural production in many countries.

Wheat is a major source of calories, protein and essential nutrients, and it is relatively easy to grow and store. A reliable source of food in many regions, wheat is the staple crop for an estimated 35% of the world population.

After a year of supply uncertainty due to the war in Ukraine, wheat production is slated for a global increase.

In the UK, for example, wheat production in 2022-23 is expected to increase by 450,000 tons from the previous year. In the U.S., winter wheat has been planted across nearly 37 million acres, up by 11% from the prior year and the highest in eight years.

In Africa, Zimbabwe produced a record 375,000 tons of wheat in 2022, making the country self-sufficient. The new record is 13% higher than the previous year and surpasses 50-year-old records. This saves the country 300 million dollars that otherwise would have been spent on wheat imports.

India is second only to China in wheat production. The Indian government reports that wheat production will reach an all-time high of 112 million tons in the 2022-23 crop year.

“The prospect of the wheat crop is better due to current weather conditions and slightly higher acreage,” The Economic Times reported.

In fact, globally, there has been a steady increase in yields of wheat as measured in tons per hectare, with some of the highest being in China.

Crop yields in the 21st century have been increasing due to a combination of factors. Among them are the use of modern technologies, the development of high-yielding crop varieties through plant breeding and genetic engineering and the application of fertilizers.

Nonetheless, the level of production would not have been possible without the post-Little Ice Age warming of the earth since the 18th century and the modern increase of atmospheric CO2.

Greater warmth has allowed for longer growing seasons and the cultivation of a wider variety of crops. Higher CO2 concentrations have helped plants to photosynthesize more efficiently, resulting in increased growth and crop yields.

Even in the worst-case scenarios of alarmists, where temperatures rise sharply, global agriculture can adapt through genetically advanced food crop varieties that are resilient to extreme droughts and high temperatures.

There is simply no reason for alarm over climate’s impact on global food production either today, next year or in 100 years. In fact, climate is aiding crop growth and helping the world to feed growing populations.

Abbott Labs Facing Criminal Probe Over Baby Formula Shortage

DYLAN HOUSMAN CHIEF FOREIGN AFFAIRS CORRESPONDENT
January 21, 20234:01 PM ET

Abbott Laboratories is under investigation by the Department of Justice (DOJ) for conduct that led to the closing of its Sturgis, Michigan, production facility last year and an ensuing nationwide baby formula shortage, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The DOJ’s consumer-protection wing is conducting a criminal investigation into the company, although it also has civil authority, according to The WSJ. An Abbott spokesperson said they had been informed by the DOJ of the investigation and are fully cooperating.

1674455291091.png

Abbott’s Sturgis plant was shut down last year after a whistleblower report led to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) linking a deadly bacteria that infected several infants to the facility. The DOJ reached a settlement with the company allowing them to reopen the plant, but the production halt exacerbated a baby formula shortage that had families across America scrambling to feed their kids for months and the Biden administration flying in shipments from overseas in a desperate attempt to ease the domestic shortage.

The DOJ has been able to criminally prosecute defendants for misdemeanors if they distribute contaminated food products to the market even if they acted without criminal intent in some recent cases, Seattle lawyer Bill Marler told The WSJ.

FDA officials never conclusively linked bacteria found in Abbott’s plant to the strains that infected several infants. However, inspectors did find numerous issues at the facility, including standing water and damage to formula cans. After the FDA and Abbott agreed to temporarily close the facility in February, it was reopened in June with promises to change certain procedures to avoid further closures.

The initial whistleblower report to the FDA was caused, in part, by an employee allegedly playing with a stun gun at the facility, leading a colleague to document and file several complaints. The Biden administration’s FDA faced scrutiny for its response to the ensuing formula shortage, including for the fact that its top food safety official wasn’t informed about the whistleblower report until several months after it was filed.

How key virologists manipulated published research findings to cement a natural origins story for the 2014 West African Ebola outbreak, and then did the same thing again for SARS-2 in 2020

Everything suggests that pandemicists have established a symbiotic relationship with the viruses they claim to be saving us from

From Wikipedia: the geography of the 2014–16 Ebola epidemic.

This detailed piece surveying evidence for the laboratory origins of the 2014 West African Ebola outbreak is very much worth your attention.

I’m not sure I find its core argument persuasive, but in many ways that’s not important. It’s everything else the authors have to say that matters. They reveal beyond all doubt that public understanding of virus outbreaks is subject to heavy manipulation by a small clique of favoured, well-funded virologists. These scientists used many of the same tactics in 2014 as they did in 2020, with the aim of establishing a natural origins story for unusual outbreaks, and keeping important anomalies surrounding these outbreaks out of the press. In both cases, their efforts unfolded in the context of US AID-associated PREDICT animal sampling efforts to identify emerging pathogens with pandemic potential. Also in both cases, research into these viruses was offloaded to overseas laboratories, preferred partly because they lay beyond the scrutiny of Western authorities.

Temperatures in Northern Hemisphere Due to Fall Over Next 25 Years, According to Six Top International Scientists

BY CHRIS MORRISON
23 JANUARY 2023 7:00 AM

Whisper it quietly – and don’t tell Al ‘Boiling Oceans’ Gore – but the Northern hemisphere may be entering a temperature cooling phase until the 2050s with a decline up to 0.3°C. By extension, the rest of the globe will also be cooled. These sensational findings, ignored by the mainstream media, were released last year and are the work of six top international scientists led by Nour-Eddine Omrani of the Norwegian Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research. Published in the Nature journal Climate and Atmospheric Science, the scientists say that the North Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation, an important sea current that has been pumping warmer water into the Arctic, is weakening and that’s leading to a cooler North Atlantic area and lower temperatures, as was observed in the period 1950-1970.

Certainly, current observations back up these suggestions. As we reported recently, Arctic summer sea ice stopped declining about a decade ago and has shown recent growth. The Greenland surface ice sheet grew by almost 500 billion tonnes in the year to August 2022, and this was nearly equivalent to its estimated annual loss. Of course, climate alarmists of have not quite caught up with these recent trends, with Sir David Attenborough telling his BBC Frozen Planet II audience that the summer sea ice could all be gone within 12 years.

Interestingly, the six scientists, whose work has helped debunk the ‘settled’ science myth, still attribute some global warming to human causes. The Northern hemisphere is characterised by “several multidecadal climate trends that have been attributed to anthropogenic climate change”. But producing work that predicts 30 years of global cooling puts them outside the ‘settled’ narrative that claims human-produced carbon dioxide is the main – possibly the only – determinant of global and local temperatures. At the very least, it dials down the hysteria pushing for almost immediate punitive net-Zero measures. Lead author Omrani is reported to have said that the expected warming pause “gives us time to work out technical, political and economic solutions before the next warming phase, which will take over again from 2050”.

Needless to say, such thinking was absent at last week’s Davos climate freak show, with elite delegates ramping up the fearmongering to record heights. Former U.S. Vice-President Al Gore went into full meltdown, ranting about “rain bombs” and “boiling oceans”. Current U.S. climate envoy, and private jet owner, John Kerry described the gathering as a “select” group of people trying to “save the planet”, while chief UN carnival barker Antonio Guterres claimed we were flirting with climate disaster and every week brought a new horror story. Of course, some might suggest that in the circumstances this was an all-round excellent effort to whip up more money – ahem, I mean more genuine climate concern – at a time when corals, Arctic sea ice, the Greenland ice sheet, polar bears and now global warming are having to be retired from the poster-alarm portfolio.

As we have noted on numerous occasions, rising global temperatures ran out of steam about two decades ago. Accurate satellite records show pauses from around 2000 to 2012 and a current one lasting over eight years. It could be argued that the only real warming for over 20 years was caused by a particularly powerful El Nino natural oscillation around the middle of the last decade. Surface datasets run by operations like the U.K. Met Office have added retrospective warming, while there are increasing doubts about the on-site recording of massive heat distortions caused by the growth in cities and towns across the globe.

The Omrani paper is complex but it revolves around the effect of the cyclical and natural North Atlantic Multidecadel Oscillation (AMO). Observations and records dating back to the start of the 19th century have shown enormous Arctic sea ice changes. It appears the AMO plays a major part in these changes. A key projection of the paper is “further weakening of the North Atlantic Oscillation, North Atlantic cooling and hiatus in wintertime North Atlantic Arctic sea ice and global surface temperatures just like the 1950 – 1970s”. If there is a drop comparable with this period, the global temperature could fall by up to 0.3°C.

Any science that downplays the involvement of human-caused CO2 is largely ignored in mainstream academia, politics and the media. But even some scientists who argue there is considerable anthropogenic input recognise the role played by natural atmospheric factors in a constantly changing climate. More sceptical scientists such as Emeritus Professor Richard Lindzen of MIT have an intellectual problem in blaming all or most changes in global temperatures on just one trace atmospheric gas. Lindzen is dismissive of this “one dimensional” view of the climate. He is of the climate science school of thought that argues that temperature changes are caused by dynamic heat flows in the atmosphere and the oceans, and these in turn are caused by latitudinal differences in temperature, or ‘baroclinic instability’ to give it a scientific term.

For Lindzen, it is “absurd” to assume that the controlling factor for temperature changes in our complex, three-dimensional climate is the small contribution made by CO2. It seems that the more scientists look and explore, the more they understand that the atmosphere and the climate it produces is an immensely complex environment affected by many far-reaching natural influences.

Chris Morrison is the Daily Sceptic’s Environment Editor. He was a recent guest on the podcast of online climate journalist Tom Nelson, where he talked about his early journalistic influences, life as a journalist and an entrepreneur, joining a rock and roll band and his recent work on the Daily Sceptic. Department Of Justice Considering Searching More Locations For Classified Documents Biden May Have

Carmine Sabia January 22, 2023

The news just got more disheartening for President Joe Biden as his classified documents scandal continues to have the White House playing defense.

The Department of Justice is considering searching more locations for classified documents after a search of his Wilmington, Delaware home on Friday uncovered more classified material, CBS News reported.

“Justice Department officials are also considering the possibility of conducting other consensual searches at locations linked to Mr. Biden, said the source familiar with the investigation,” the report said.

“DOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President. DOJ also took for further review personally handwritten notes from the vice-presidential years,” the president’s personal attorney said.

The search was conducted over a 12 hour period on Friday with the approval of the president’s attorneys, unlike the raid on former President Donald Trump’s home, CNN reported.

Those six items are in addition to materials previously found at Biden’s Wilmington residence and in his private office.

The federal search of BIden’s home, while voluntary, marks an escalation of special counsel Robert Hur’s probe into the president’s handling of classified documents and will inevitably draw comparisons to his predecessor, former President Donald Trump – even if the FBI’s search of Trump’s residence was conducted under different circumstances.

The FBI five months ago obtained a search warrant to search Trump’s Florida residence, Mar-a-Lago, an unprecedented step that was taken because federal investigators had evidence suggesting Trump had not handed over all classified materials in his possession after receiving a subpoena to turn over classified documents to the National Archives. Trump’s handling of classified material at Mar-a-Lago is also the subject of a special counsel investigation led by Jack Smith.

The search shows that federal investigators are swiftly moving forward with the probe into classified documents found in Biden’s possession. Hur, who was appointed a little more than a week ago, is investigating how the president and his team handled Obama-era classified documents that were recently found in Biden’s private possession.

Members of the president’s private legal team and White House counsel were president during, what they called a, “thorough search,” where they were granted “full access” to the Biden home.

On Thursday, the day prior to the new search, the president said he had “no regrets” about how he has handled the scandal.

“We found a handful of documents were filed in the wrong place,” he said. “We immediately turned them over to the Archives and the Justice Department. We’re fully cooperating, looking forward to getting this resolved quickly. I think you’re gonna find there’s nothing there. I have no regrets. I’m following what the lawyers have told me they want me to do. That’s exactly what we’re doing. There’s no there there.”

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan announced a new probe last Friday into President Joe Biden following revelations that he was in possession of Obama-era classified documents, potentially in violation of federal law governing such materials.

In a letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, the Ohio Republican noted that it was his committee’s responsibility to conduct such “oversight” and added that he expected the Justice Department to cooperate. The Judiciary probe follows another by Rep. James Comer’s Oversight Committee investigation into the matter, as well as that of a special counsel appointed by Garland last week.

“On January 12, 2023, you appointed Robert Hur as Special Counsel to investigate these matters,” Jordan and Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.) wrote. “The circumstances of this appointment raise fundamental oversight questions that the Committee routinely examines. We expect your complete cooperation with our inquiry.”

1674462613801.png
1674462570652.png

In the letter, Jordan also raised questions about the timing of the document disclosure earlier this month after learning that the first batch was discovered at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C., just days before the midterm elections.

“It is unclear when the Department first came to learn about the existence of these documents, and whether it actively concealed this information from the public on the eve of the 2022 elections,” the two lawmakers wrote.

“It is also unclear what interactions, if any, the Department had with President Biden or his representatives about his mishandling of classified material. The Department’s actions here appear to depart from how it acted in similar circumstances,” the letter continued.

Big Egg Producers Behind ‘Collusive Scheme’ to Gouge Consumers, Farm Group Says

Farm Action, a farmer-led advocacy group, on Thursday asked the Federal Trade Commission to "promptly open an investigation into the egg industry, prosecute any violations of the antitrust laws it finds within, and ultimately, get the American people their money back."

By Common Dreams
By Kenny Stancil

As U.S. egg producers rake in record profits amid soaring prices, a farmer-led advocacy group focused on building a just and sustainable food system on Thursday implored the Federal Trade Commission to “promptly open an investigation into the egg industry, prosecute any violations of the antitrust laws it finds within, and ultimately, get the American people their money back.”

Just before testifying at an open meeting of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Farm Action sent a letter to agency chair Lina Khan detailing its “concerns over apparent price gouging, price coordination, and other unfair or deceptive acts or practices by dominant producers of eggs such as Cal-Maine Foods, Rose Acre Farms, Versova Holdings, and Hillandale Farms, among others.”

As Farm Action explained, “Egg prices more than doubled for consumers last year — going from $1.79 in December 2021 to $4.25 in December 2022 for a dozen large Grade A eggs.”
Major egg producers and their allies have blamed surging prices on a “supply disruption” triggered by the deadliest outbreak of avian influenza in U.S. history, calling it “‘act of God’ type stuff,” the letter notes.

Based on its analysis of publicly available industry data, however, Farm Action determined that while the avian flu outbreak killed roughly 43 million egg-laying hens nationwide in 2022, “its actual impact on the egg supply was minimal.”

According to the letter:

“After accounting for chicks hatched during the year, the average size of the egg-laying flock in any given month of 2022 was never more than 7-8% lower than it was a year prior — and in all but two months was never more than 6% lower.

“Moreover, the effect of the loss of egg-laying hens on production was itself blunted by “record-high” lay rates observed among remaining hens throughout the year.

“With total flock size substantially unaffected by the avian flu and lay rates between 1-4% higher than the average rate observed between 2017 and 2021, the industry’s quarterly egg production experienced no substantial decline in 2022 compared to 2021.”

Nevertheless, the “weekly wholesale price for shell eggs climbed from 173.5 cents per dozen at the end of February to 194.2 cents in the middle of March,” the letter continues.

“By the first week of April, it had reached 298 cents per dozen. For two months after this point, the wholesale price of eggs appeared to stabilize at elevated levels slightly below this peak — but then it started increasing again.

“In July, it broke previous records and reached over 300 cents per dozen. After dipping briefly in August, the rally in wholesale egg prices continued, hitting 400 cents per dozen in October and almost 450 cents per dozen in the first weeks of December.”

According to Farm Action, major egg producers’ massive price hikes are unjustifiable. In addition to the avian flu outbreak, some have attributed skyrocketing egg prices to higher feed and fuel costs, but “the dominant producers’ course-of-business documents suggest these claims have little merit,” the letter states.

“For example, in a presentation to investors just this month, Cal-Maine noted that total farm production and feed costs in 2022 were only 22% higher than they were in 2021.”

“The real culprit behind this 138% hike in the price of a carton of eggs,” says the letter, “appears to be a collusive scheme among industry leaders to turn inflationary conditions and an avian flu outbreak into an opportunity to extract egregious profits reaching as high as 40%.”

Max Bowman, the chief financial officer of Cal-Maine — the nation’s largest producer and distributor of eggs — has admitted as much,
saying in a recent statement that “significantly higher selling prices, our enduring focus on cost control, and our ability to adapt to inflationary market pressures led to improved profitability overall.”

CNN reported last week that “there have been no positive tests” of avian flu at any of Cal-Maine’s facilities, and yet the company’s net average selling price per dozen conventional eggs more than doubled last year.

The corporate giant, which controls roughly 20% of the egg market, is behind several popular brands, including Farmhouse Eggs, Sunups, Sunny Meadow, Egg-Land’s Best and Land O’ Lakes eggs.

“Contrary to industry narratives, the increase in the price of eggs has not been an ‘act of God’ — it has been simple profiteering,” Farm Action’s letter argues.

“For the 26-week period ending on Nov. 26, 2022, Cal-Maine reported a 10-fold year-over-year increase in gross profits — from $50.392 million to $535.339 million — and a five-fold increase in its gross margins.”

“Cal-Maine’s willingness to increase its prices — and profit margins — to such unprecedented levels suggests foul play. That Cal-Maine — the leader in a mostly commoditized industry with, presumably, the most efficient operations and the greatest financial power — will quintuple its profit margin in one year without any compelling business reason is plainly an indication of market power,” the letter continues.

“It is also an invitation for rival egg producers to tacitly collude with Cal-Maine, forego price competition themselves, and maintain high prices for the entire industry.

“Fundamentally, Cal-Maine seems to be engaging in price leadership — using the avian flu outbreak and the inflationary conditions of the past year as cover to establish a new ‘focal point’ for egg prices.”

“This pattern of behavior by the dominant firms in the egg industry raises significant concerns about monopoly power and potential antitrust violations in this sector,” the letter adds.

“It also presents exactly the kind of monopoly or oligopoly power that is entrenched in a market ‘with highly inelastic demand’ and that ‘imposes substantial costs on the public,’ which Chair Khan has previously argued enforcers should seek to challenge.

“We urge the FTC to exercise the full scope of its authorities — under the Sherman, Clayton, and FTC Acts — to identify, challenge, and uproot anti-competitive arrangements that suppress competition among egg producers and enable dominant firms like Cal-Maine to extort consumers for the eggs they need every day.”

In November, “antitrust trailblazer” Khan led the agency in issuing a new policy statement restoring its commitment to “rigorously enforcing” the FTC Act’s prohibition on “unfair methods of competition,” including what critics have called “predatory pricing.”

According to Farm Action:

“What Cal-Maine Foods and the other large egg producers did last year — and seem to be intent on doing again this year — is extort billions of dollars from the pockets of ordinary Americans through what amounts to a tax on a staple we all need: eggs.

“They did so without any legitimate business justification. They did so because there is no ‘reasonable substitute’ for a carton of eggs. They did so because they had power and weren’t afraid to use it.”

“This kind of organized theft is exactly what Congress — and the public it represents — ’empowered and directed’ the FTC to prevent,” the group concluded. “The FTC should do nothing less.”

In addition to regulatory action, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) argued last weekend that Cal-Maine’s “corporate greed” exemplifies why “we need a windfall profits tax.”

Last March, Sanders introduced the Ending Corporate Greed Act, which seeks to stamp out price gouging by imposing a 95% tax on the windfall profits of major companies.

Progressive economists have long urged Congress and the Biden administration to enact a windfall profits tax, strengthen antitrust enforcement and impose temporary price controls, arguing that only these measures — and not the Federal Reserve’s unemployment-inducing interest rate hikes — can address the corporate profiteering underlying the cost-of-living crisis.

Carbon Credits Are The Biggest Scam Since Indulgences... How You Can Avoid Being Fleeced

SUNDAY, JAN 22, 2023 - 11:45 PM
Authored by Nick Giambruno via InternationalMan.com,

In the Middle Ages, the Catholic Church convinced the commoners to buy indulgences to alleviate their sins. And they made a fortune in the process

Similarly, today, our overlords—the mainstream media, central bankers, and their political allies—are working overtime to convince the commoners to pay for their alleged climate sins.

Enter carbon credits, government-issued permits that grant you the privilege to emit a certain amount of carbon dioxide.

Although advocates promote them as a way to “save the environment,” in reality, carbon credits are nothing more than a devious mechanism to tax, regulate, and control you.

It’s not a coincidence that the most philosophically and ethically bent people are promoting them.

For example, at a recent World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos, participants revealed and touted an “individual carbon footprint tracker.” It will track where people travel, how they travel, what they eat, and what they consume.

Carbon accounting is already creeping into many places, like Google Flights.

1674463263326.png

A federal carbon tax is already a reality in Trudeau’s Canada, and it’s causing the price of food and other goods and services to soar. But Canadians haven’t seen anything yet—the federal carbon tax will triple by 2030.

In short, there’s a growing push to implement the carbon credit scam worldwide. And that’s not a coincidence.

Remember, central banks only exist to harvest wealth from the populace through inflation and redirect it to the politically connected, an insidious practice known as seigniorage.

Fiat currency is the usual mechanism central banks use to perpetuate this fraud. They get most people to run on a hamster wheel most of their lives chasing after confetti money they create with no effort.

However, there is a limit to this process.

For example, the governments in Venezuela and Zimbabwe have debased their currencies to such an extent that they are worthless. They have squeezed as much wealth out of their populations through seigniorage as possible.

Governments in the US, Canada, the EU, and others still benefit from seigniorage, but they sense they are not getting as much juice from the squeeze as they used to. Price increases are hitting multi-decade highs, and the US dollar, the euro, and other fiat currencies are quickly losing their luster.

In other words, central banks are debasing fiat currencies to the point where they can no longer extract as much seigniorage as they used to. That presents bankrupt Western governments with a big financial problem and is why they need to find a new way to harvest wealth from their citizens.

That’s where carbon credits come in. They’re the new mechanism of seigniorage designed to transfer wealth from you to the politically connected.

The idea is to get people to run on the hamster wheel chasing carbon credits, an artificial construct governments create with no effort.

Think of it like this…

Imagine if Tony Soprano forced everyone in his neighborhood to buy “breathing credits” from him, which grant you the privilege to breathe a certain amount of air. And that, naturally, it would cost Tony Soprano nothing to create as many of these “breathing credits” as he wanted. He could also hand them out to his friends and others who did favors for him, creating a corrupt patronage system.

This is basically what governments plan to do with carbon credits. Except they are also gaslighting you by telling you they are helping save the planet. Without that patina of propaganda—which the media, academia, and the rest of the establishment reinforce—there’s a good chance the people would revolt.

What To Do
The foundation is being laid to create a totalitarian system to track, control, and tax carbon—an element that touches every activity of human life.

Carbon credits are merely a way for governments, central bankers, and their allies to control the populace and secure continued seigniorage as the fiat currency system flounders.

It’s the biggest scam since the indulgences of the Middle Ages.

The good news is that there is still time to fight back. The bad news is that there isn’t much time.

The most effective thing the average person can do is to not store their life savings in fiat currencies and thus starve governments of seigniorage. That way, central bankers and their allies cannot use inflation to siphon off your monetary energy to fund the carbon credit system and other aspects of their nefarious agenda.

In other words, don’t put your life savings into something that someone else can create with little or no effort.

How do you go about doing that?

I just released an urgent report with three specific steps anyone can take today.

Egg Crisis Sparks Soaring Interest In Backyard Farms

SUNDAY, JAN 22, 2023 - 08:00 PM

Covid supply chain snarls turned millions of Americans into "preppers" overnight. The run on toilet paper, food, guns, ammunition, and other essential items for survival pushed millions to consider preparedness for a crisis.

Remember all those old-school preppers? The media used to refer to them as "extreme" and even called them "tin-foil hat conspiracy" folks, but during the shutdowns, those folks were right, and the mainstream media got it wrong.

The next shortage underway is eggs. Readers have seen our notes on supermarkets nationwide running out of eggs. The egg shortage is so severe that last week the US Customs and Border Protection reported that egg smuggling from Mexico erupted.

And why is that? Well, a dozen Grade A eggs in the US have topped $4.25 at supermarkets. In Mexico, a 30 count of eggs is about $3.40.

US egg prices have topped the national average gasoline per gallon price at the pump.

As a result of the egg crisis, internet search trends on Google show Americans are panic searching where to find egg-laying hens for their backyard.

The search trend "where to buy chickens near me" erupted to a near multi-decade high.

"Buy chickens near me" searches explode across the US.

Besides the Covid spike, "how to raise chickens" has spiked to levels not seen in a decade.

Over the last several years, food insecurity has pushed many Americans to create 'little backyard farms'- something their parents or grandparents did more than half a century ago.

Living off the land was standard decades ago, but as metropolises sprung up, people relied more on a corporation (or even the government) to provide food.

Soaring distrust in government and corporations had transformed many into preppers following the pandemic shutdowns when some supplies were impossible to find. People don't want to be left empty-handed when the next crisis arises. This has led to a new generation of preppers and the normalization of being prepared.

China To Accelerate The Construction Of Coal-Fired Power Plants

SUNDAY, JAN 22, 2023 - 07:30 PM
Authored by Michael Kern via OilPrice.com,

China expects to add 70 gigawatts (GW) of coal-fired power generation this year, up from 40 GW of capacity from coal installed in 2022, a report from the power sector’s group, China Electricity Council, showed.

The coal additions, however, will not be the biggest capacity increases in China in 2023, per the report quoted by Bloomberg.

Solar and wind will see massive growth in capacity additions this year, too, with solar power expected to add a huge 100 GW of capacity and wind—another 65 GW, China Electricity Council said.

China’s electricity generation capacity from renewable sources is expected to jump above 50% for the first time this year. According to the power sector’s lobbying group, low-carbon electricity sources will account for over 52% of total power capacity in China by the end of 2023, up from 49.6% at the end of last year.

After the end of the ‘zero Covid’ policy, China’s power demand is expected to jump by 6% in 2023, up from the 3.6% growth seen last year, according to the China Electricity Council.

Although renewable energy installations are set to jump, coal-fired capacity additions in China will also surge this year as Beijing has put more emphasis on energy security since the autumn of 2021 when power shortages crippled its industry.

In 2022, China said it would continue to maximize the use of coal in the coming years as it caters to its energy security, despite pledges to contribute to global efforts to reduce emissions.

In recent months, China has significantly boosted its coal production, following government orders.
[ZH: how dare you!?]

China produced a record amount of coal last year, although output ended the year with a decline amid the latest surge in Covid infections. Total Chinese coal output for the year reached 4.496 billion tons, which was a 9-percent increase compared to 2021, according to official statistics data.

California Drought Eases As Reservoir Levels Rise And Snowpack Booms

SUNDAY, JAN 22, 2023 - 07:00 PM

California has experienced water shortages in recent years due to a combination of factors, including drought and increased demand. A parade of storms has eased a historic water crisis, replenishing reservoirs and increasing snowpack.

The latest data from the official website of the State of California shows 97% of major reservoir levels are at normal levels for this time of year. This is great news following last summer when reservoir levels were dangerously low.

Here's a map of the major reservoirs. Most are at average levels, except for a few.

Nearly a month of storms has also boosted the state's vital snowpack in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. State data shows statewide snowpack levels are 126% above average levels for this time of year. We recently pointed out snowpack levels were at their highest in four decades.

Only a small portion of California remained in extreme drought. The heavy rains and snow have eased drought conditions.

The storms were part of a moisture conveyor belt over the Pacific Ocean called atmospheric rivers. This resulted in one of the wettest California winters on record.

Much of California's water comes from reservoirs and snowpacks. The deluge of storms has prevented the price of water trading on the Nasdaq Veles California Water Index from topping new highs. The contract currently trades at $1,020 an acre-foot, about 20% lower from the top of $1,282 recorded in September of last year.

The rain and snow have been "very exciting," Andrew Schwartz, lead scientist at the University of California, Berkeley Central Sierra Snow Lab, told CNN, though he remained "cautiously optimistic" for this summer.

Johnstone: Let's Nuke The World Over Who Governs Crimea

SUNDAY, JAN 22, 2023 - 11:00 PM
Authored by Caitlin Johnstone,

Critics of the US empire have spent months compiling mountains of evidence showing that the empire knowingly provoked the war in Ukraine. Supporters of the US empire have spent months posting dog memes and accusing strangers of being paid by Putin. It’s clear who’s in the right.

So does everyone else in the world get a vote on whether their lives should be risked in an offensive to control who governs Crimea? Or will the Biden administration just be making that call on behalf of all living creatures?

It’s so crazy how the fate of everyone alive and everyone who could potentially be born in the future is riding on the way two governments choose to navigate a conflict in Ukraine, just because those two governments have most of the world’s nuclear weapons. It’s like two people in a bar getting into a brawl that kills everyone in their city. Nobody else in the world gets a vote on the decisions being made that could kill everyone alive and end humanity forever; just a few people within those two governments and their militaries.

The US empire is telling Moscow “I’m the craziest mother****er around, I’ll keep ramping up the brinkmanship looking you right in the eye and daring you to use nukes,” while telling the rest of the world “I am the voice of sanity that you should all look to for leadership.”

One of the empire’s faces is the virtuous upholder of freedom and democracy, while the other face puts on an intimidating show of viciousness like a prisoner biting off someone’s cheek in the prison yard. At least one of those faces is necessarily lying.

Literally the only reason mainstream westerners are fine with the US empire’s nuclear brinkmanship with Russia is because most don’t understand it, and those who do understand it don’t think very hard about it. They avoid contemplating what nuclear war is and what it would mean.

Whenever I touch on this subject I get a bunch of replies like “Yeehaw! That’s right bitch, we’re standing up to Putin!” They’re not approaching the subject with anything like the gravity they would if they understood what’s happening and had seriously thought about what could be. They don’t understand how horrifyingly dangerous it is that the empire is considering backing a Crimea offensive, and they haven’t sincerely contemplated what it would be like for every living creature to die horribly and for no one else to ever be born again for all of time.

Whatever position you have on this whole conflict, you should be approaching the possibility of nuclear annihilation with the most profound solemnity imaginable, because it is without exaggeration the single worst thing that could possibly happen. Take it seriously, or be silent.

If a nuclear war between Russia and NATO erupts, the answer to the question “Was it worth it?” will be a decisive “No.” Not just for people like me, but for everyone, no matter how sympathetic they are to the western power structure and no matter how much they hate Russia. If their answer isn’t “no” immediately, it will be their answer in a matter of hours. If people don’t immediately understand the horror that’s been unleashed upon our world and how nothing could possibly have been worth it, they will understand it in short order.

The term Mutually Assured Destruction was first coined by Hudson Institute’s Donald Brennan in 1962, but he used it ironically, spelling out the acronym “MAD” in order to argue that it’s insane to hold weapons that can cause armageddon. These games of nuclear chicken are insane.

The argument for nukes is that the threat of their use wards off the large-scale conventional wars we saw in WWI and WWII, but that only works if the fear of their use deters conventional attacks. The US empire is getting more and more brazen with its proxy warfare against Russia.

It used to be undisputed conventional wisdom that hot warfare against Russia must be avoided at all costs because they’re a nuclear superpower. Now the idea of backing full-scale offensives to carve off pieces of the Russian Federation is gaining widespread mainstream traction. This disintegrates the uneasy stability that MAD is theoretically supposed to create, because MAD assumes the other side won’t be crazy enough to launch conventional offensives against a nuclear superpower due to fear of rapidly spiraling escalation into full-scale nuclear war.

If you’ve got two people pointing pistols at each other, an exchange of gunfire might be avoided for fear of retaliation. But if one of the gunmen breaks the standoff by walking toward the other holding a knife in his other hand, odds are the other guy pulls the trigger.

I hate it when I get people saying “I hope we do nuke ourselves off the map, we’re horrible.”

It’s not okay for a few idiots to be playing games with every life on this planet. Just because you’re unhappy with life here doesn’t mean all the innocents around the world are, doesn’t mean the animals are, the bugs, the trees. Your disaffected feelings are not a valid reason not to fight this thing tooth and claw. Keep your omnicidal ideations to yourself.

Westerners frame the idea of nations like Russia and China “attacking their neighbors” as though that’s somehow less moral than the US attacking nations on the other side of the planet who cannot possibly pose any threat to US national security. At least Russia can make an argument that its invasion of Ukraine was in its national security interests due to US/NATO militarization there, and China could make similar arguments if it ever attacks Taiwan. US wars are done solely to defend US planetary domination, not the US.

Liberals are all about examining privilege except when it comes to western privilege. Then they’re more than happy to blow up everything and everyone for their belief in their inherent ideological superiority and their right to rule over every single country on earth.

Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp are no longer designating the neo-Nazi Azov Regiment as a “dangerous organization.” To be clear, nothing has actually changed about the Azov Regiment. It’s still the same people with the same ideology. All that changed is the Official Narrative.

For years and years, up until just last year, the mass media had no problem acknowledging that Ukraine has a Nazi problem and calling Azov neo-Nazis what they are. All that changed is we moved into an information ecosystem of aggressive war propaganda.

No amount of PR rebranding will magically transform Azov neo-Nazis into wholesome moderates. You can change Kentucky Fried Chicken to KFC, but it’s still the same stuff in the bucket.

Paul Craig Roberts: How Troublesome Presidents Are Disposed Of

SUNDAY, JAN 22, 2023 - 08:30 PM
Authored by Paul Craig Roberts,

Tucker Carlson provides an excellent 12 minute report about the CIA’s removal of President Kennedy and President Nixon. I recommend that you watch it 2 or 3 times until it sinks in and forward it to all of your friends and relatives. There is nowhere else you can get so much solid and important information in 12 minutes.

View: https://youtu.be/MgXq8S02NJc
12:40 min

Carlson believes that Biden, no longer useful to the establishment, is currently undergoing removal.

I have reported the truth about the removal of Presidents Kennedy and Nixon from office for decades. It was thrilling to me to see after a half century Tucker Carlson give the same explanations to such a large audience. If Americans could only wake up and become involved it might be possible to save our country and the liberty of Americans.

President John F. Kennedy was murdered by the CIA and US Joint Chiefs of Staff once he realized that the government he headed was not the real government. His predecessor President Eisenhower, a 5-star general, warned about the threat to democratic government posed by the military/industrial complex. President Kennedy intended to do something about it while the president still had some power, but he was struck down before he could do more than fire CIA Director Allen Dulles and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Lyman Lemnitzer. President Kennedy wasn’t able to get rid of General Lemnitzer, who transitioned to Supreme Allied Commander of NATO. Both Dulles and Lemnitzer are suspected of directing the plot against Kennedy’s life.

President Nixon was the best informed and best respected abroad president of any in US history. He kept in touch with foreign leaders and was well informed about historical and current events. But he also, like Kennedy and Trump, over estimated the power of the president.

Nixon incurred the wrath, as I once again reported on January 19 of the military/security complex with his arms control agreements with the Soviet Union and his opening to China. The assassination of President Kennedy was so obviously an in-house murder, covered up by the CIA’s media whores and the Warren Commission, that the CIA dared not murder a second president. Instead, the CIA saw that one of its operatives was placed as a journalist at the Washington Post, a long-time CIA asset, never a newspaper, to head the “Watergate” investigation of President Nixon which was used to drive him from office despite Nixon being reelected by the largest margin in US history.

Donald Trump, being a real estate mogul, knew nothing of Washington or who really rules it.

By declaring his intention of normalizing relations with Russia, he blindly took on the CIA and the subterranean rulers of the US.

And again the media was used to get rid of him: “Russiagate,” two impeachment attempts, “January 6 Insurrection,” and now “Documents gate.”

The President isn’t even protected by the Secret Service. As the tourist video clearly shows, the Secret Service men along the side of President Kennedy’s open limo in Dallas were called away by a Secret Service superior. The video shows the resistance of one of the Secret Service agents to the order. Once the Secret Service agents were removed, the video shows that Kennedy was killed from a bullet from in front that blew out the back of his head. The video shows his wife reaching out on the back of the limo to get the back of his blown away head.

Despite this clear cut undeniable evidence the Warren Commission ruled that Kennedy was shot from behind by Oswald, the patsy that the CIA had lined up to take the blame. Before Oswald could talk or be questioned he was killed in police custody by Jack Ruby (Jacob Leon Rubensein), a person whose presence is inexplicable, who was permitted by the police to be armed next to Oswald.

The bulk of the insouciant American population fell for this most improbable of all accounts, but many intelligent people did not.

So the CIA did not dare murder Nixon physically. They used their Washington Post asset to murder him politically, as they used media to get rid of Donald Trump.

Americans who think they live in a democracy are out to lunch. Americans, so easily fooled time and again, are the reason we have lost our country and the freedom and the hope that it once represented in the world.

How many Americans understand that they no longer live in a free country, that they are the ruled subjects of they know not who? Voting is a cloak, a deception. No one the people prefer can be elected to the office of president. If, like Trump, he gets there unexpected, he is removed.

The founder of American civil liberty, Thomas Jefferson, warned us that freedom cannot exist more than 200 years before it has to be refreshed by bloody revolution. He overestimated the life of freedom.

Over the course of my life the meaning of freedom has changed. It no longer means what the Founding Fathers, today denounced as racists, meant, which was self-rule and freedom from oppressive government. Today freedom is the freedom of blacks to rob stores without prosecution, the freedom of the government and its media whores to censor and suppress truth, free expression, and free association, the freedom of government to arrest and imprison people who exercise their civil liberties as “insurrectionists,” the freedom of government and its media whores to brand truth-tellers as “threats to democracy” who are guilty of spreading “misinformation,” the freedom to take away the medical licenses of doctors who saved lives by using medicines banned by Big Pharma’s treatment protocols.

People born in recent decades have no idea how off the wall this is to someone who lived in the real America in the past. When my generation passes, there will be no one alive who knows what America once was.

The United States Is Insolvent

BY MICHAEL SNYDER January 23, 2023 in Cross-Posted, Opinions
The United States Is Insolvent

You can call everyone for dinner, because our goose is cooked. We are so deep in debt that the only way we can keep the entire system from collapsing is to keep borrowing even more money. Perhaps you have been through a similar scenario with your own personal finances. When you simply do not have enough money to pay your bills, borrowing more money can seem like a really easy short-term solution. Unfortunately, the U.S. government has been doing this for decades, and now our national debt spiral has reached a terminal stage.

Even if we gathered up all of the money that exists in every bank account in America, we could not pay off the national debt. The debt level is exploding upwards at an exponential rate, and the only way that the federal government can continue to pay the bills is to keep borrowing and spending colossal mountains of money that we must borrow from someone else.

1674479480187.png

As I write this article, the U.S. national debt is sitting at 31.4 trillion dollars.

But the total value of all goods and services produced in the United States last year was only about 25 trillion dollars.

Our leaders in Washington could try to reverse course by balancing the budget, but that would lead to a short-term economic disaster.

Just think about it. What do you think would happen if a couple trillion dollars of government spending was suddenly sucked out of the economy?

We would immediately plunge into a horrifying economic depression. Sadly, the truth is that we have been borrowing from the future to make the present a lot more pleasant. We are enjoying an artificially-inflated standard of living that we do not deserve, and we have been using debt to fund that artificially-inflated standard of living.

But now a day of reckoning is here. Of course it isn’t just the federal government that has gone completely insane. Our state and local governments are collectively more than 3 trillion dollars in debt. Corporate debt in the United States has now surpassed the 12 trillion dollar mark.

1674479505658.png

And total U.S. household debt is now over 18 trillion dollars.

1674479523977.png

As the U.S. economy has slowed down in recent months, an increasing number of Americans have turned to credit card debt. So now credit card debt is rising at an exponential rate while the savings rate has dropped to a historic low. And at this point the average rate of interest on credit card balances is the highest ever.

We are literally committing national financial suicide, but many people don’t seem to care. And many people don’t seem to care because they don’t even understand what is happening.

At this point, our “system of education” has produced hordes of completely clueless individuals that can barely even function in a modern society.

View: https://youtu.be/g6-xU1t3NPg
3:06 min

If we had a population that was properly educated and properly informed, they would be absolutely horrified by what our leaders have been doing to us.

But instead, our leaders have been free to systematically destroy our financial future for a very long time, and very few of us have even cared enough to object.

Unfortunately, we have reached a point where there is no turning back. We have already destroyed the reserve currency of the planet. We have already created rampant inflation.

The Federal Reserve has been feverishly hiking interest rates, but that is dramatically raising debt service costs at every level of our society, and it is also causing economic activity to slow down all around us.

Companies all over America are now laying off workers, and that even includes Google…

On Friday, Alphabet-owned Google announced it was cutting 12,000 employees, roughly 6% of the full-time workforce. While employees had been bracing for a potential layoff, they are questioning leadership about the criteria for layoffs which surprised some employees, who woke up to find their access to company properties cut off. Some of the laid-off employees had been long-tenured or recently promoted, raising questions about the criteria used to decide whose jobs were cut.

Shortly after CEO Sundar Pichai’s initial email to employees Friday morning, Google’s search boss Prabhakar Raghavan sent an email to employees saying he “also feels the responsibility to reach out” and asking for them to save questions for next week’s town hall. There will be “bumps in the road” as the organization moves forward with the layoffs, Raghavan noted.

Why is Google doing this?

No corporation in the entire country is stronger than they are.

If there is one company in America that should not be laying off workers, it is Google.

Of course just about every large tech company is laying off workers these days.

Microsoft is laying off workers. Amazon is laying off workers. Facebook is laying off workers. Twitter is laying off workers.

We haven’t seen anything like this since 2008, and that is because we haven’t had an economic crisis like this since 2008.

So many people are going to lose their jobs in the months ahead.

And the economic pain that we will experience in 2023 will be just the beginning, because the entire system is starting to come down all around us.

Did you actually think that we could go on the greatest debt binge in all of human history and that everything would work out just fine somehow?

That is not how the real world works.

We sat by and did nothing while our leaders made disastrous decisions for decades, and now we will be forced to watch in horror as the consequences of those decisions play out right in front of our eyes.

Who’s Running the World? 8 Takeaways From Last Week’s WEF Meeting

by Michael Nevradakis, Ph.D., The Defender

As the World Economic Forum (WEF) today wrapped up its weeklong annual meeting of nearly 3,000 political, business, media and academic elites, mainstream media largely continued to sing the meeting’s praises, while independent media outlets took aim at the WEF’s agenda and its promoters.

The Associated Press (AP) described the meetings in Davos, Switzerland, as taking on the “pressing global issues” while simultaneously being the “target of bizarre claims from a growing chorus who believe it involves a group of elites manipulating events for their own benefit.”

Among those critics was Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk, who responded to a tweet: “WEF is increasingly becoming an unelected world government that the people never asked for and don’t want.”

Musk posted an online poll — that generated 2.42 million votes — where he asked whether “The World Economic Forum should control the world.” Eighty-six percent of respondents said “no.”

The Defender on Wednesday reported on the first few days of meetings. This article lists eight key takeaways from Davos — and why they matter.

Global elites really want vaccine passports

One of the proposals that generated the most attention at this year’s WEF meeting came from embattled former U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair, now executive chairman of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.

Blair proposed the development of a “national digital infrastructure,” stating, “We should be helping countries to develop a national digital infrastructure which they will need with these new vaccines” — a statement that strongly suggested “new vaccines” are coming and we will “need” them.

Blair also said:

“You need to know who’s been vaccinated and who hasn’t been. Some of the vaccines that will come down the line, there will be multiple shots.
“So [for vaccines] you’ve got to have — for reasons to do with healthcare more generally but certainly for pandemics — a proper digital infrastructure and most countries don’t have that.”

As previously reported by The Defender, Blair endorsed the “Good Health Pass,” a digital vaccine passport launched by ID2020, a collaborative effort between Mastercard, the International Chamber of Commerce and the WEF.

Members of the Good Health Pass Collaborative include Accenture, Deloitte and IBM, while general partners of ID2020 include Facebook and Mastercard.

ID2020’s founding partners include Microsoft, the Rockefeller Foundation, Accenture, GAVI, The Vaccine Alliance (a core partner of the World Health Organization, or WHO), UNICEF, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Bank.

Global ‘leaders’ appear to be clairvoyant

On the disease front, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned that “a resurgence of tuberculosis may be coming … sooner or later.”

Statements like Tedros’ appear to belie a knowledge of future developments. This has been the norm at previous WEF meetings — and it was the case again this year.

Investigative journalist Jordan Schachtel pointed out that “Event 201, the pre-pandemic coronavirus simulation, was announced at a Davos WEF conference in 2019.”

Similarly, this year, Lawrence “Larry” Summers, who served as U.S. secretary of the treasury between 1999 and 2001 and director of the National Economic Council from 2009 to 2010, said “the odds in my view are better than 50-50” that “there will be a COVID-scale problem within the next 15 years.”

Summers made these remarks as part of a panel, “Global Economic Outlook: Is this the End of an Era?” whose panelists included International Monetary Fund (IMF) Director Kristalina Georgieva and former IMF managing director and current president of the European Central Bank Christine Lagarde.

During a press conference, officials presented the WEF’s “Global Cybersecurity Outlook 2023” report, predicting a “catastrophic cyber event” said to be “likely in the next two years.”

These are people who think very highly of themselves

Statements by WEF’s Founder and Executive Chair Klaus Schwab and WEF meeting participants also revealed how the “elite” meeting participants appear to believe they are the self-anointed saviors — or rulers — of the world.

In an interview with India Today, which sent two attendees to this year’s WEF meeting, Schwab said the world will soon no longer be run by superpowers such as the U.S., but instead by WEF “stakeholders,” such as BlackRock and Bill Gates.

During another session, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, foreign affairs minister of Pakistan whose mother, Benazir Bhutto, was formerly the country’s prime minister, talked about a “new world order” that is being stymied by “hyper-partisan[ship].”

Also during the same panel, Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Falon, said, “We have countries that are respecting their national interest going beyond the rules,” referring to “global rules,” adding that “we have to take into consideration The World Order.”

And Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry told meeting attendees, “We are a select group of human beings” who “sit in a room and come together and actually talk about saving the planet.”

WEF Participants make decisions in ‘lock step’ — no debate, please

Schachtel noted that at the WEF meetings, “conformity is required and debate is a cancel-worthy sin.”

He elaborated on this point in a recent blog post, describing the WEF meetings as “a reinforced echo chamber in which there is one problem, one objective, and only one solution,” instead of being “a place for a healthy, robust debate.”

Schachtel wrote:

“Regardless of who populates these panels and speeches, whether it’s invited corporate media, governmental officials, and/or business executives, there’s never any apparent dissent or difference of opinion expressed.
“The truth of the matter is that the WEF and its leaders prefer conformity to debate. In fact, debate is actively discouraged, and stepping out of line — via a narrative violation — is grounds for permanent removal from Club Davos.”

Journalist and author Walter Kirn tweeted similar sentiments:

Journalist Jack Pobosiec said the “WEF/WHO and the Davos mindsets are essential to understand [because] this is the mindset that governs our world here in the West. Vast amounts of our leaders, even down to lower levels, ascribe to the globally homogenized and technocratic vision of the world. Do not overlook this.”

They want you to believe there’s a digital solution for (almost) every problem

The annual WEF meetings are renowned for their promotion of technocracy, and this year’s meeting continued that trend.

An example of this was a session titled “Improving Livelihoods with Digital ID,” which promoted “an international ID policy to realize financial, social and health equity through digital identification.”

According to journalist Andrew Lawton, this panel “was not streamed and was not open to the press.” The panel included participants from the Global Digital Policy Incubator, Hedera, the Dubai Future Foundation and DataKind.

During another session, panelists predicted “humans will soon embrace implanted brain technology so they ‘can decode complex thought,’” adding that “neurosignals can be used for biometrics” and that the more widely adopted neurotechnology becomes, the more data can be gathered on humans.

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdulla Al-Swaha told attendees in Davos his country is “embracing metaverse technology [which] has already shown its environmental benefits with the planning and development of some of the Kingdom’s biggest projects.”

The WEF is a proponent of the metaverse, as previously reported by The Defender.

They want to change what you think, and how you live

Many of the proposals presented this week will necessarily involve large-scale changes to people’s livelihoods and habits.

In an example of the behavioral psychology concept of “nudging,” Cepsa CEO Maarten Wetselaar advocated in favor of “much higher carbon prices,” in order to “make what you try to avoid expensive and subsidize the thing that you try to build.” He called this a “very capitalist intervention.”

Lawton noted that while it may seem odd for an oil and gas executive “to be so enthusiastic about transitioning away from oil and gas,” Cepsa “is also involved in green hydrogen and clearly sees the writing on the wall and wants some of those subsidies Wetselaar is calling for.”

Australian mining executive Andrew Forrest spoke in favor of “zero emissions, not just net-zero emissions,” saying this can be done using existing technology: “solar, wind, batteries, green hydrogen.”

The “15-minute city” concept, where people will be car-less, was also touted, while a member of Switzerland’s Green Party called for “punishing businesses that don’t adhere to climate agreements.” Indeed, a “5-minute city” proposal was also put forth, that would be “100% solar and wind-powered.”

Meat — or discouraging its consumption — was also on the agenda. Jim Hagemann Snabe, chairman of Siemens, said, “If a billion people stop eating meat, I tell you, it has a big impact. Not only does it have a big impact on the current food system, but it will also inspire innovation of food systems.” Snabe also advocated for synthetic meat.

The global elite don’t like free speech or public opinion

Participants at this year’s meeting also expressed contempt for free speech.
U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres, for instance, said:

“Politicians need to understand, sometimes we are faced with these kinds of challenges. It is better to take today decisions that will eventually be not popular [sic] but to be essential, to be able to shape the public opinion itself.”

On another panel, Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel said the “pandemic is still ongoing” and was critical of scientific, political and public debate about COVID-19 vaccines.

Responding to a prompt from Sasha Vakulina, a Ukrainian journalist working for European news network Euronews, who described “the extent of this misinformation when it comes to vaccination” as “overwhelming,” Bancel said:

“In some countries you saw scientific debate on TV, in prime time, so you can imagine some people were scared.

“You saw the differences in countries where all the parties would say, you know, these have been approved by the regulators, clinical studies have been done, you should get your vaccines.

“The social media was just terrible, just terrible. You could see some countries where you had scientific debate and political debate and social media … those three things and the vaccine rate was very very low.”

To this, Vakulina simply replied, “absolutely.”

On the same panel, Michelle Williams, dean of faculty at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, said, “In a diverse society, you are going to need to have layers and layers of communicators and different styles and ways of communicating.”

Williams said governments should “work collaboratively and respectfully in addressing the appropriate message and messenger to really promote the change.”

Seth Berkley, CEO of the Gates-affiliated GAVI, The Vaccine Alliance, said:

“It was amazing the amount of misinformation that was there, and that information then went straight to the rest of the world … the way we normally deal with misinformation is we get the local chief, the local religious leader, the local healthcare workers who are trusted, but all of a sudden they’re like, ‘but look at what’s going on in Germany or in the U.S. or in other places, and here’s what I’m getting in my social media,’ and that has been a real problem.

“So the trust goes even broader. We don’t trust the institutions. We have misinformation, and it’s getting worse, not better.”

In another session, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said COVID-19 vaccines were “politicized” because people questioned whether they worked, and that this questioning was “constantly in our way.”

Similarly, Erik Brynjolfsson, professor and senior fellow at the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI [artificial intelligence], expressed concern about the flow of so-called “polarizing information.” He also discussed the importance of communicating the “truth to the right people.”

The head of Britain’s telecommunications and broadcast regulator Ofcom, Dame Melanie Dawes, defended “free and frank and open conversations on any topic,” but then qualified that statement by saying “Well, there are sometimes cases where we open up an investigation but … let’s see how that goes.”

These are people who don’t practice what they preach

The “cost of living” crisis was a big theme at this year’s meeting. Yet panel discussions such as “Stemming the Cost of Living Crisis” included participants like Gita Gopinath, the first deputy managing director of the IMF — an institution known for imposing austerity measures globally.

Journalist James Melville, remarking on this theme, wrote:

“Millions of people are suffering the consequences of the cost of living crisis. But when they see our global elites grandstanding their power & control at the WEF/Davos, it’s hardly a surprise that people feel disenfranchised and forgotten.”

And journalist Michael Shellenberger noted the WEF, even though it purports to advocate more transparency and disclosure from corporations, is highly secretive with its own financial disclosures.

According to the WEF, “Swiss law does not require financial reporting for foundations,” although the 2022 WEF annual report says part of its portfolio is managed by Al Gore’s Generation Investment Management.

Lawton noted the WEF meetings operate under the “cash-for-access” model, with business leaders reportedly paying $250,000 to attend, although politicians participate for free. This is in addition to annual WEF membership and partnership dues which are as high as $650,000.

According to Lawton, the WEF meeting also operates alongside a type of caste system, where “your value in Davos isn’t determined by your net worth but by the colour of your ID badge,” as access to certain spaces is prohibited for those with the “wrong” color.

And while participants proclaim to be engaged in the business of saving the world, Greenpeace noted attendees arrived “in droves of private jets.” The Guardian reported that private jet emissions quadrupled during the 2022 WEF meeting.

One attendee, interviewed by independent journalist Savanah Hernandez, justified the extensive use of private jets in these terms: “I think it’s more important what decisions are made here rather than how the people come here, by plane or by train,” while a driver for VIPs in Davos revealed that, for such figures, “I cannot drive electricity car.”

Despite the WEFs agenda to reduce meat consumption, Hernandez noted, “All of the attendees in the food halls are eating MEAT. Also, the hors d’oeuvres served to WEF attendees at parties have MEAT [emphasis original].”

And according to Lawton, attendees enjoyed “wine and hors d’œuvres” while discussing “food insecurity in Africa.”

The Republican Debt-Circus Charade

By Jacob G. Hornberger
The Future of Freedom Foundation
January 23, 2023

It seems like just yesterday that the debt-ceiling circus returned to Washington. Actually, it was October 2021, a little over two years ago. That circus was just like all the ones that preceded it. The mainstream press and other acolytes of the welfare-warfare state issued all sorts of dire predictions if the debt ceiling wasn’t raised. As soon as the debt-ceiling was raised, no one advocated cutting government spending to prepare for the next time that the debt ceiling was reached. Everyone knew that as soon as the new debt ceiling was reached, they could do the same thing again.

In other words, for the past two years, it has been business as usual — federal government expenditures exceeding tax revenues by around $1 trillion per year. And everyone knew that within a couple of years, the debt ceiling would be reached again.

Thus, just like clockwork, it’s déjà vu all over again. In fact, the mainstream press doesn’t even have to write new editorials or op-eds. All they have to do is trot out the ones from 2021 (and before) and use them. No one would be the wiser. Why write new ones when the old ones will work just as well?

But perhaps the most noteworthy thing to notice about the debt-ceiling circus is Republicans. Whenever there is a Republican president, Republicans stay silent about or, even worse, supportive of out-of-control spending and debt. President Trump, for example, added around $8 trillion to the national debt. You could call him the King of Debt. The Republican members of Congress were as quiet as church mice or, even worse, wildly supportive of their big-spender and big-debt leader.

Now that the debt ceiling has been reached under Democrat president Joe Biden, the Republicans have suddenly discovered their inner secret self of fiscal responsibility. They are demanding that Biden agree to undefined reductions in federal spending as a condition for agreeing to lift the debt ceiling. For his part, Biden says he’s not budging. He’s determined to continue the out-of-control federal spending and debt spree, no matter what.

Let me tell you how this ends. The Republicans will cave. Republicans always cave. This time will be no different. Oh, sure, they might finally get Biden and the Democrats to agree to some minor reduction in spending — no doubt spread over the next 10 years, but for all practical purposes it will do nothing to prevent the federal government from continuing to hurl America into national bankruptcy.

When it comes to spending and debt, Republicans are right up there with Democrats, especially considering their unwavering devotion and subserviency to the national-security establishment — i.e., the Pentagon, the CIA, and the NSA.

How long have we heard Republicans calling for a “balanced-budget amendment”? Decades! But it’s all been idle, hypocritical chatter.

How do we know that? Because Republicans now have the opportunity to require a balanced budget. Yes, right now! They don’t need a constitutional amendment to achieve a balanced budget. All they have to do is insist on enforcement of the debt ceiling. No more new debt.

After all, the debt ceiling is an express acknowledgement that too much debt is a very bad thing and can actually be very dangerous from a fiscal standpoint.

Enforcing the current debt ceiling would mean that federal officials would now have to live with a balanced budget, which would necessarily mean a major slashing of federal expenditures.

The mainstream press says that this would mean a default in interest payments on the federal debt. That’s just not true. The amount of money coming into the U.S. Treasury is more than sufficient to cover interest payments on the debt.

That means slashing expenditures on the Republican-Democrat welfare-warfare state. The biggest area would be the military. Close domestic military bases. They are unnecessary. Lay off soldiers. They are also unnecessary. Bring all the troops home from overseas and discharge them. Close all the foreign military bases. Stop giving billions of dollars to the crooked and corrupt regime in Ukraine. Stop giving foreign aid to everyone. In fact, the ideal would be to dismantle the entire deep state and restore our founding system of a limited-government republic. That would save gobs of money.

Get rid of all the non-essential departments, agencies, and personnel, permanently. In fact, the ideal would be to end all the socialist welfare-state and interventionist regulatory-state programs, including Social Security, Medicare, food stamps, education grants, farm subsidies, and corporate bailouts. That too would save gobs of money.

That would leave the Postal Service. We can get rid of that too. There is no reason why the federal government has to be in the mail-delivery service. That would also save a lot of money.

Will Republicans step up to the plate and refuse to lift the debt ceiling? If you believe that, I’ve got a nice bridge in Ukraine I’d like to sell you. Like I say, Republicans will cave. Republicans always cave.

Has Biden Been Hoarding Classified Docs for Decades?

BY MATT MARGOLIS 4:46 PM ON JANUARY 22, 2023

AP Photo/Evan Vucci

It seemed clear from the beginning that Biden’s classified documents scandal was worse than Trump’s, and yet in the two weeks since it just keeps getting worse. Not only have more documents been found on more than one occasion, some of the classified documents that were among those most recently discovered date back to when he was a U.S. senator.

According to Bob Bauer, Biden’s personal lawyer, on Friday, “DOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President” (emphasis added).

Joe Biden served in the U.S. Senate from 1973 to 2009, and until we get further information, we don’t know how old the documents are. This means that he’s had classified documents in his possession for as little as six years, or as long as fifty years.

The Justice Department is now considering expanding its search to more locations linked to Joe Biden. Just what will they find, and where?

And what has Joe Biden been doing with these classified documents all these years?

China’s Liu He at Davos: Every word was a lie

BY BRADLEY A. THAYER, OPINION CONTRIBUTOR - 01/21/23 11:00 AM ET

Chinese Vice Premier Liu He’s address at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, was striking for its dishonesty and prevarication. It recalls novelist and political activist Mary McCarthy’s dismissal of fellow writer Lillian Hellman, when she said: “Everything she writes is a lie, including ‘and’ and ‘the.’” Liu argued, in essence, that “China is back.” He said China welcomes the return of foreign investment, and contended that investors should view China’s economy with optimism because of reforms and an end to an emphasis on ideology advanced by Xi Jinping, rather than economic prosperity.

Liu also submitted that China’s economic growth in 2023 will return to “normal,” and that China is a supporter of the international order and the environment.

In reality, China’s economy is in the tank because of anemic economic growth — about 3 percent — due to profound structural problems in the economy, demographic decline, a property downturn, U.S. pressure on its tech sector, investors concerned about Chinese Communist Party (CCP) influence, and the viability of alternatives such as India, Indonesia and Vietnam. The most significant cause of its downturn has been the COVID-19 pandemic and the end of its “zero-COVID” policy that is permitting the virus to spread among the population.

In China, business will always be under the influence of Xi and the CCP. The unfortunate case of Alibaba founder Jack Ma, who criticized the country’s financial regulators, shows that the Party will not permit even a whiff of independence from its control or a potential political rival to arise from the business or any other community. Rather than supporting the international order, Beijing is doing all it can to weaken and replace it with an order that Beijing defines and controls.

Liu’s remarks on climate change, meanwhile, were a master class of deception. He said COVID-19 revealed the “possible connection between climate change and public health crises.” An honest man would be embarrassed and ashamed after mouthing his words, since the CCP’s actions guaranteed that the virus’s outbreak turned into a pandemic through its deception to global health authorities such as the World Health Organization and public health authorities in other countries.

In sum, it’s likely that everything Liu said was a lie. His address should be considered an information operation directed at shaping a narrative to entice investment and diminish the recognition of China as a threat, no doubt because the Party acutely understands its vulnerabilities and is concerned that, if mobilized against them, elites at the World Economic Forum could offer a profound threat to their hold on power.

Liu’s speech is indicative of the CCP’s weaknesses and vulnerabilities. China’s economic downturn threatens the Party’s control. COVID’s horrible effect on China’s population and the disaster of the “zero-COVID” policy — as last fall’s “blank page” protests showed — threaten that control. The consequences of these vulnerabilities are not only that the Party sent Liu to Davos to spin a web of lies, but are also far more impactful: They indicate the regime is vulnerable and should be pressed in order to exploit these vulnerabilities.

A robust response from other states to China’s expansion will add to the pressure on the CCP with the intent of defeating it. This can be accomplished by discouraging or prohibiting investment in China in favor of other countries or domestic production. Those who invest in China, who take the CCP’s money or allow it to raise capital on their markets, should have the opportunity to explain why they support the Party’s aggression and human rights abuses.

We must call out China’s human rights record and the great abuses directed by the Party against its citizens. Chinese officials such as Liu in international forums should be called to account, rather than being embraced for China’s abominable environmental record. The host should not let pass a Chinese official’s lament that there is a connection between climate change and global health crises without requiring him to respond to China’s own responsibility for the genesis of the pandemic. Additionally, states must bring pressure to bear against the Party by addressing China’s atrocious human rights record and abuse of its religious and ethnic minorities, including in Tibet and Xinjiang.

Outside of China, domestic measures within states — for example, the new House committee on the China threat, chaired by Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.) — are necessary as well. This committee can focus attention on the CCP’s aggression; its Marxist-Leninist-Maoist ideology to which Xi adheres, which is a major source of China’s belligerence; its gross human rights violations; and China’s attacks on the American people, through fentanyl and other means, as well as through technologies and apps such as TikTok. Their investigations and testimony can combat false narratives such as Liu’s and explain to the American people why the CCP is their enemy and why all Americans should identify the regime as their foe.

Liu’s address must be considered an effort to deceive the world about the CCP and the true state of China’s economy and political stability, as well an effort to entice the international community to believe that China has returned to a period of rapid economic growth. In fact, Liu’s remarks were profoundly revealing about what China’s leadership fears.

Liu’s Davos appearance should define a turning point: The CCP’s abuses of human rights and the environment and its aggression against states and the international order — the order that made the World Economic Forum possible — no longer will be tolerated. We must show the Party that the world will not accept its mendacity.

EXC: Wuhan-Lab Linked Group Gets $7 Million Government Grant For Pandemic Research.

By: Natalie Winters

by EDITOR
January 20, 2023

President Joe Biden has awarded EcoHealth Alliance – a controversial non-profit that partnered with the Wuhan Institute of Virology on manipulating viruses similar to COVID-19 – with new multi-million dollar grants for pandemic-related research.

Run by notorious COVID-19 “natural origins” propagandist and Chinese Communist Party-funded researcher Peter Daszak, EcoHealth Alliance received millions of dollars from Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Health (NIH) agency for work on “killer” viruses. Summaries of their joint research – recently wiped from the Chinese lab’s website – reveal scientists creating “chimeric” viruses that spread in humans at rates “equivalent to epidemic strains of SARS-CoV.”

War Room can now reveal that EcoHealth Alliance has received a new $3 million “Combatting Weapons of Mass Destruction” grant from the Department of Defense’s (DOD) Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) aimed at “reducing the threat of viral spillover from wildlife in the Philippines.” EcoHealth Alliance’s work in China was carried out under the same alleged objective of combatting “viral spillover.”

The grant started on December 12th, 2022 and is set to extend through December 11th, 2025.

The grant is part of a program “to support the advancement of fundamental knowledge and understanding of the sciences with an emphasis on exploring new and innovative research for combating or countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD).”

President Joe Biden’s U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) also gave EcoHealth Alliance a $4,000,000 grant on December 13th, 2022 as part of a program launched in October 2021.

The grant is part if USAID’s “foreign assistance for programs overseas” and is focused on “conserving threatened and endangered species by strengthening protected areas and helping communities be less reliant on protected resources for the livelihoods.”
Set to conclude October 2026, the grant is worth $8.7 million in total.

There’s no hiding Biden’s fright over classified document scandal

By
Miranda Devine
January 22, 2023 10:34pm

Video on website 2:31 min

Joe Biden is panicking.

An astonishing fifth trove of classified documents was discovered in the president’s Delaware mansion Friday, not by his own lawyers this time, but during a more thorough, 13-hour search by the Department of Justice while he holed up in his beach house in Rehoboth, which ought to be next on the DOJ search list.

Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland has had the audacity to appoint a special counsel to investigate Biden.

His long-term trusted factotum Ron Klain is bailing out.

And someone at the White House is throwing his trusted longtime executive assistant Kathy Chung under the bus. The Washington Post quoted an anonymous insider last week saying that Chung “has confided to associates that she is distressed that she might have inadvertently been involved in moving or storing classified material at the center, planting the seeds of the current uproar.” The fact that the loyal Chung was personally poached by Hunter Biden in 2012 to work for his father in the VP’s office apparently counts for nothing when it comes to offloading blame from the president.

That’s why Biden looked like a cornered rat in California last week (with aspiring heir Gavin Newsom leering over his shoulder) and lied through his teeth.

First, he snapped at a reporter who asked about the scandal and then dismissed the question as “a handful of documents were filed in the wrong place.”

Then he effectively issued a warning to Garland.

“I think you’re gonna find there’s nothing there,” he told reporters. “I have no regrets … There’s no there there.”

No there there? What a joke.

BIDEN CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS

Will ‘no regrets’ be Biden’s epitaph as the classified docs pile up?

The no-there-there defense may have worked for Biden back in the 2020 campaign, when he repeatedly claimed to know nothing about his son’s overseas business dealings, and when the mythology of “Honest Joe” hadn’t collapsed, but no more. Too much evidence has emerged from Hunter’s laptop, from Hunter’s former business partners, from the “Twitter files” and from FBI whistleblowers alleging a cover-up of staggering proportions.

The first tranche of at least 10 classified documents reportedly was found in the fall at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement at the University of Pennsylvania, and were kept secret by the White House until after the midterm elections. They were dated between 2013 and 2016 and included US intelligence memos and briefing materials on Ukraine, Iran and the United Kingdom, according to CNN.

Ties to Hunter portfolio

This is the thread that links the president to the long-running Delaware federal investigation into his son’s foreign business dealings.

That three-year period corresponds to the most frenetic influence-peddling activity overseas by his son Hunter and brother Jim Biden, who made millions of dollars from shady interests in Ukraine, China, Russia and elsewhere.

How much more valuable their product would be if they had access to classified documents?

Their activity is documented in the Hunter laptop, in financial documents held by the Treasury, and in testimony from Hunter’s former business partner Tony Bobulinski, who said Joe was the “big guy” slated to get 10% from a particularly lucrative Chinese deal.

Hunter traveled on Air Force 2 with his father to do private business during that period, including to China in December 2013. He organized the infamous Cafe Milano dinner for Joe to meet his business partners from Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan in April 2015.

After his separation from his wife in July 2015, Hunter lived off and on at his father’s Delaware mansion and listed it as his residence on official documents. He was photographed in 2017 driving his father’s Corvette, which was housed in the very garage where classified documents have been found.

Hunter also had free rein in his dad’s White House office, and his privileged access meant his name never showed up on visitor logs. For instance, he took the infamous photo of his then-“best friend in business,” Devon Archer, with his father in the VP’s office in April 2014, shortly before the pair joined the board of the corrupt Ukrainian oil company Burisma, which paid Hunter $83,000 a month. That photo ended up briefly on the Burisma website before being taken down on the instructions of a White House lawyer.

One striking email during this period stands out. It was from Hunter to Archer on April 13, 2014, a week before Joe Biden visited Ukraine to meet then-Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and refers to “my guys upcoming travels.”

For Hunter, it was an uncharacteristically lengthy email, listing 22 points about Ukraine’s political situation, with detailed information about the upcoming election and predicting an escalation of Russia’s “destabilization campaign, which could lead to a full-scale takeover of the eastern region, most critically Donetsk.

“The strategic value is to create a land bridge for RU to Crimea. That won’t directly affect Burisma holdings but it will limit future UK exploration and utilization of offshore opportunities in particular,” Hunter wrote.

“It will also result in further destabilization of UK nationally and for whatever govt is in power. And the US will respond with even stronger sanctions. Those sanctions will threaten the tenuous support of the EU which does not have the political will to incur steep energy price increases.”

In point 22, Hunter instructed Archer to buy a “burner phone,” presumably to keep their conversations private. “Buy a cell phone from a 7/11 or CVS tmrw and ill do the same.”

It’s a prescient and very well-informed email, unlike anything else Hunter wrote in the nine years covered in the laptop, and it has the distinct flavor of an official briefing, perhaps even a classified one.

The four latest batches

The last four tranches of classified documents were discovered in President Biden’s Delaware mansion during four separate searches — between Dec. 20 and Friday.

While there is no indication of the subject matter, Biden’s personal attorney Bob Bauer issued a statement Saturday evening saying the DOJ search the previous day had discovered “six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President. DOJ also took for further review personally handwritten notes from the vice-presidential years.”

Now the country faces the historic spectacle of a sitting president and a former president, Donald Trump, both facing special counsel investigations over alleged improper retention of classified records.

Biden hasn’t faced the FBI raid and leaking abuses that his predecessor endured, but it’s the same crime and, in Biden’s case, there is a hell of a lot of there there.

If special counsel Robert Hur does his job properly, he will be comparing notes with Delaware US Attorney David Weiss, who has been investigating Hunter since 2018.

Accountability is coming for Joe Biden, and no amount of dark money groups leaking false narratives to the media will save him.

Inside the White House document strategy and its pitfalls

Biden aides are said to have tried to defer to DOJ, lie low and avoid Trump-like behavior. They got a political firestorm — and then a special counsel.

By Matt Viser
Tyler Pager
Carol D. Leonnig

January 18, 2023 at 9:00 p.m. EST

One of President Biden’s personal attorneys entered the luxurious 10-story office building, so near the U.S. Capitol that its promoters billed it as “the front seat to power,” on a Wednesday last November to begin what seemed a mundane task: clearing out a rarely used office that Biden occupied after leaving the vice presidency.

The attorney, Pat Moore, went through a large closet and found nothing out of the ordinary, a person familiar with the matter said, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation. Then he tackled a smaller closet, finding it stuffed with folders, boxes and other political memorabilia, including documents related to Beau Biden’s funeral, drafts of political speeches and boxes of personal books, the person said.

But next, Moore made a surprising discovery: a folder with a cover sheet saying it contained secret government documents. Moore immediately called another attorney and notified the White House Counsel’s Office, which in turn contacted the National Archives, according to two people familiar with the matter.

How the Biden and Trump classified documents cases differ

Both President Biden and former president Donald Trump are involved in cases where classified government documents were found in their private possession. (Video: Blair Guild/The Washington Post) video on website 3:22

But if the way they found the classified documents was out of the ordinary, Biden’s lawyers were determined to be sticklers for the rules once it happened, said people familiar with their work.

Those first decisions inside the airy office complex at the Penn Biden Center at 101 Constitution Ave. NW launched a 71-day push by Biden’s team, federal archivists and the Justice Department to make sense of the startling discovery. It culminated in Attorney General Merrick Garland’s decision, to the deep consternation of many in the White House, to appoint a special counsel.

Interviews with people directly involved in the discovery and the subsequent fallout provided new details on the effort to handle the crisis created at the intersection of politics, intelligence and the law. Republicans and other critics say the White House was, at a minimum, slow to seek the truth and level with the public; Biden’s aides say they were simply proceeding cautiously in a sensitive probe and taking their lead from federal investigators.

In mid-November, in a communication that has not previously been reported, a senior official in the Justice Department’s national security division wrote a letter to Bob Bauer, Biden’s personal attorney, asking for his cooperation with the department’s inquiry. The Justice official asked specifically that Biden’s legal team secure the materials from the Penn Biden Center and refrain from further reviewing them or other relevant documents that might be stored at different locations, according to the letter, the contents of which were shared with The Post.

The Justice official also requested that Bauer give the Justice Department formal consent to review the Penn Biden materials, and that he provide a list of other locations where relevant materials might be stored as the department weighted the proper protocols for future document searches.

That letter, with its implication that the Justice Department would take the lead in the inquiry, paved the way for the Biden team’s approach: They adopted a strategy of caution and deference, making only limited moves in coordination with federal investigators to determine the number of documents involved, their significance and how they were mishandled. They hoped that would earn the trust of investigators, avoid comparisons with former president Donald Trump, who is under federal criminal investigation for his own mishandling of classified materials, and end the matter quickly. Instead, it yielded a political firestorm and repeated accusations of obfuscation, and instead of a speedy resolution, they now face a special counsel probe.

Former senator Doug Jones (D-Ala.) said that the Biden team was right to notify authorities quickly of its discoveries, adding that it was critical to respond appropriately from a legal perspective. Still, he added, the White House could have been more transparent with the public.

“I would have probably opted to do some things a little bit differently,” said Jones, a onetime prosecutor. “When it came the appropriate time to make a statement, give as much facts as you can without jeopardizing the investigation.”

After the Biden White House alerted the National Archives, it did make initial moves to learn how the classified documents had reached the Penn Biden Center and possibly elsewhere, according to two people familiar with the process who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation. But by Nov. 10, a day after Biden held a celebratory news conference touting Democrats’ strong midterm election results, the Justice Department informed Biden’s lawyers it was launching its own inquiry and within weeks would be sitting down with Biden aides for interviews, according to two people familiar with the process.

At that point, Biden’s attorneys stopped seeking information from his staffers, seeking to avoid any impression they were tampering with witnesses, the people said. Instead, they switched abruptly into a highly cautious mode, deferring almost completely to the federal investigators.

Among other things, Biden’s top aides were keenly aware that Trump had spent months defiantly refusing to return classified documents, insulting investigators and apparently misleading them when his lawyers claimed to have returned all classified records this past summer. The last thing Biden’s supporters would have wanted, legally or politically, was to prompt a seemingly parallel probe — but in one key respect, that is what happened.

A shared desire to keep quiet
Early on, Biden’s attorneys and Justice Department investigators both thought they had a shared understanding about keeping the matter quiet. But they had very different reasons.

The White House was hoping for a speedy inquiry that would find no intentional mishandling of the documents, planning to disclose the matter only after Justice issued its all-clear. Federal investigators, for their part, typically try to avoid complicating any probe with a media feeding frenzy.

Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco declined at a news conference on Wednesday to say whether law enforcement officials suggested Biden representatives should keep quiet about the case. But the approach would end up prompting accusations that Biden’s team had purposely kept the public in the dark.

Biden’s aides sought to follow the Justice Department’s guidance, heeding its protocols for conducting searches and reporting additional discoveries, said the two people familiar with the probe. Some at the White House remain furious at Garland and other Justice Department officials, saying the attorney general named a special counsel to pursue Biden even after they did everything his department asked.

Despite the consultation between the Justice and Biden teams, six weeks elapsed before Biden’s attorneys discovered additional documents at his Wilmington home.

There was a lot to comb through. When Biden left the vice presidency, he received temporary office space where he and his aides were supposed to separate personal papers from the official records that, under the Presidential Records Act, must go to the National Archives.

After six months, the Archives typically takes custody of the classified material. At the time, Biden was renting a 12,000-square-foot house in McLean, Va., where he kept a private office. But in February 2018, the Penn Biden Center officially opened, providing another space for him to use.

The center, created with the University of Pennsylvania, was a think tank and academic hub intended as a sort of professional home for Biden now that he had left public life, or so it seemed at the time.

As attention focuses on the documents’ path from the vice president’s office to the Penn Biden Center, Biden’s longtime executive assistant Kathy Chung has confided to associates that she is distressed that she might have inadvertently been involved in moving or storing classified material at the center, planting the seeds of the current uproar, according to a person briefed on her account.

Bill Taylor, Chung’s lawyer, declined to comment.

Chung became Biden’s executive assistant after the president’s son, Hunter, alerted her to the vacant post. Chung had worked on Capitol Hill, and Ted Kaufman, the president’s longtime confidant and former chief of staff, recommended her for the job, according to the person briefed on her account.

The garage discovery
Biden had just returned to Washington from a long pre-Christmas weekend in Delaware when his personal attorneys began another search, seven weeks and 110 miles from the first.

This time the lawyers were looking in Biden’s garage in Wilmington, located at the bottom of a long driveway. It’s where Biden stores his prized 1967 Corvette. The garage, in footage captured during his campaign, had multiple cardboard boxes and a lampshade sitting off to the side.

Discovery spotlights Biden's frequent use of Wilmington home

Biden had been kept up to speed, and he had to sign off on searches of his personal property, according to a person familiar with the process. But he was also surprised by the discoveries, aides say. He had dealt with classified material for decades and considered himself a stickler for the rules on such matters. When he was writing a book after leaving the vice presidency, he made the trip to the National Archives to review relevant documents, staying on-site to pore through them, an official said.

When his lawyers searched the garage, they found what they called “a small number” of records with classified markings. Once they made that discovery, they alerted the team headed by John Lausch, the U.S. attorney overseeing the Justice Department’s inquiry, and immediately stopped searching, according to a timeline Bauer released Saturday.

Veterans of cases involving classified records question the seeming lack of urgency in searching Biden’s home, especially why it took six weeks after the discovery at the Penn Biden Center to expand the search to another location.

But people familiar with the case say that during that stretch — roughly between Nov. 4 and Dec. 20 — federal investigators and Biden’s personal attorneys were in fact busy, communicating frequently about protocols for how to identify other classified records. They conducted follow-up searches at multiple locations, the people say, a fact not previously reported.

Chung was interviewed by Lausch’s investigative team on Jan. 4, according to a person familiar with her account. While she was involved in the records found at the Penn Biden Center, she had no connection to those sent to Biden’s Wilmington home, said the person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive matters.

On. Jan. 5, Lausch, who was about to leave the Justice Department, briefed Garland on the results of his investigation and suggested the attorney general appoint a special counsel, according to Garland. Garland, by his own account, agreed.

Public revelations, more searches
The drama was still unfolding out of the public eye, with only a tight circle of White House advisers aware of it. Those advisers crafted a statement shortly after the documents were first discovered in November, in case news of that finding leaked, according to a person familiar with the deliberations. But that statement would go unused.

Biden’s top aides were determined that the legal process would override any political moves or public messaging, not the other way around. They did not want to be seen as trying to shape the investigation’s outcome, according to people familiar with their approach.

“This is a rule-of-law administration,” said one top official, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive matter. “We are serious about it. We don’t comment on ongoing investigations. So we were always walking a fine line here, in that we were in one.”

But this was not a run-of-the-mill legal process; it involved the handling of sensitive information by the president of the United States. And it was unfolding against a highly polarized political backdrop, as Republicans had just seized control of the House.

Soon enough, the discoveries broke into the open, and the White House initially provided an incomplete picture of the investigation.

CBS News was the first news organization to learn of the matter, contacting the White House on Jan. 6 to ask about the Penn Biden Center documents. White House officials confirmed the scoop, but since the investigation was ongoing, they decided not to offer any additional details — including the critical information that a second batch of documents had been discovered at Biden’s home.

A few days later, just after 5 p.m. on Jan. 9, CBS News aired its report. Biden was in Mexico at the time for a summit, and his motorcade — filled with top advisers, some of whom had worked with him at Penn Biden — was arriving at the National Palace in Mexico City.

By happenstance, Garland, who days earlier had been advised to name a special counsel, was on the trip to Mexico and in the president’s motorcade. But most of those traveling with Biden were blindsided by the story.

The next day, Biden told reporters he was “surprised” about the documents found in his office, making no mention of those at his Wilmington house. That reflected a decision by Biden’s advisers to only react to what was publicly known, not to elaborate or provide additional information, for fear of appearing to infringe on the Justice Department’s work.

Even some of Biden’s top officials had been kept in the dark; White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, pressed repeatedly about the documents by reporters, struggled to provide clear-cut answers.

“There’s no way for me to talk about the documents if he has said he doesn’t know what’s in them,” Jean-Pierre said. “And we’re just going to allow the process to continue.”

The same day, Jean-Pierre was asked if she could provide assurances that no more classified documents would be found, and she declined to answer. The same evening, The Washington Post and other outlets reported that Biden’s lawyers had indeed found more documents, at the Wilmington home.

On Jan. 11, Biden’s personal attorneys went back to Wilmington to continue their search. As they sifted through documents in a room next to Biden’s garage, they found a page with classified markings. Leaving it there, they moved on to other parts of the house, according to Bauer’s timeline.

Then the Biden attorneys traveled to the president’s vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Del. No classified records were found at the beach house, and the attorneys late in the evening made it back to Washington, Bauer’s timeline said.

Special counsel appointment
In the morning, Biden’s lawyers informed Justice investigators of the additional document in Wilmington, according to timelines offered by both Garland and Biden’s personal attorneys. The White House also released a statement acknowledging for the first time publicly that a second batch had been found in the Wilmington garage.

About 20 minutes after that statement from the White House, Biden held an event to tout improving economic numbers. As soon as he finished, he was asked about the additional classified documents, and why they were found next to his prized Corvette.

“By the way, my Corvette is in a locked garage. Okay? So it’s not like they’re sitting out in the street,” Biden fired back.

Adding that he was cooperating with the Justice Department, Biden reflected his staffers’ hope that the department would soon clear him. “I’m going to get a chance to speak on all this, God willing, soon,” he said.

Instead, Garland about two hours later took the stage at the Department of Justice, announcing that he was appointing former U.S. attorney Robert K. Hur as special counsel to investigate the Biden document matter.

Who is Robert Hur?

At the time that Garland was delivering those remarks, Biden was en route back to the White House after delivering a eulogy at the funeral of Ash Carter, the former secretary of defense.

Biden and his aides find the comparisons to Trump particularly frustrating, according to one person who has been in touch with White House officials and spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss private conversations.

The Biden team feels “the two situations could not be more different,” the person said. Biden and his aides believe they have handled the situation appropriately, instantly informing and cooperating with authorities, while Trump knowingly took classified documents and repeatedly refused requests to return them.

While some of Biden’s aides and allies chafe at Garland’s appointment of a special counsel, believing it creates a false equivalence between the Trump and Biden cases, other allies have said they believe the investigations will ultimately confirm how cooperative and serious Biden and his team have been about an honest mistake.

Some Biden supporters are critical of his lawyers, saying they should have been as transparent as possible before the matter leaked. Still, Matt Miller, who was a spokesman for the Obama Justice Department, said it can be hard to speak out in such situations, for legal reasons.

“Oftentimes when you’re doing something that from the outside doesn’t appear to make sense, it’s not because you don’t know what you’re doing — it’s because you face some choices people don’t understand,” Miller said.

Several Biden aides now regret that initial strategy, recognizing it has made them appear less than transparent, said one former White House official, speaking on the condition of anonymity to talk candidly.

Biden’s team is now trying to shift to a more proactive approach, as reflected in its decision to hold a media call on the documents issue Tuesday.

“They clearly have lines they’re not going to cross over,” the former official said. “But it was an indication that last week can’t be the case study for how they proceed.”

But the White House strategy has undeniably led to cascading revelations of the sort that crisis managers say to avoid. Last Thursday, just after Garland appointed the special counsel, Justice Department officials found five more classified documents in the room adjacent to Biden’s garage.

Meanwhile, an Amtrak ride away, that Penn Biden Center office that Moore had first gone to empty in the first place back in November has remained uncleared.
