Favorable time for sowing hay, fodder crops, and grains. Plant flowers. Excellent time for planting corn, beans, peppers, and other aboveground crops. - 4th – 5th
Plant seedbeds. First day is excellent for planting aboveground crops, and planting leafy vegetables. Second day is a good day for transplanting. Second day is also when to plant carrots, beets, onions, turnips, and other root crops. Also good for leafy vegetables. - 6th – 7th
Seeds planted now will do poorly and yield little. - 8th – 9th
Plant late beets, potatoes, onions, carrots, and other root crops. - 10th – 12th
Kill plant pests on these barren days. Last day is a good harvest day. - 13th – 14th
Fine for vine crops. Set strawberry plants. Good days for transplanting. Favorable time for planting late root crops. - 15th – 16th

Good days for transplanting. Root crops that can be planted now will yield well. - 19th – 20th
