Help moving a 35 ft TT from CO to MO

Have NO idea what it's gonna cost, but we can't seem to sell our TT here in CO., so I'm putting it out there to ask if anyone can help us get this thing from Westcliffe CO (approx) to around Springfield MO. Dry weight is 9766, pull behind, not fifth wheel.

It's approx 955 miles and about a day and a half driving time, one way. They will be hauling just the trailer, one way, and parking it on a friends property for us, then turning around and going back home.

Anybody know of someone who won't charge me an arm and a leg? I know they deserve every penny for this, but we are a little short on funds living where we are now, it's sucking us dry at the moment, but we have to move soon and just don't have the truck to get this thing from here to there,

Does it sound like I'm whining? Ok, I am...sorry. Just need some help at the moment.

They can charge me a flat fee for the gas, hotel, food and their fee for hauling this thing, or just charge me the fee and we will pay for the gas, the motel and the food both ways for them.

The clock is ticking for us so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Start calling the rv dealers in Pueblo and Colorado Springs. We had a guy in Farmington NM move one for us from Canon City to Pagosa a few years back.... he worked at a RV dealer in Farmington.

Usually the dealers have someone that will move them.

By any chance are you up Copper Gulch? We used to live up that way.. ;)

Get ready for the humidity when you get here....we are just up the 'street' from Springfield near LOZ.

Good luck!

955 miles in a day and half? That is really pushing it towing a trailer. It's a good hard driving two day trip ( little stopping) ... one way. Hopefully your tires and bearings and brakes have been kept up. Is it insured? Lots of things to consider before getting someone to hook up their truck and haul it down the freeway.

Frazbo, join & list the TT on www.uship.com. When you get some prices, don't be afraid to ask the bidder his experience. Many there are really good, but I'm sure there are some shysters.

Ask about load/cargo insurance, do they have USDOT/MC registrations. You should get some answers/prices fairly quickly.
