@Shifty when you stick a blind link that doesn't embed and show up as a video, could ya put a tag line that it's a video, with the run time.

(19 second video of pavement apes shopping)

Thx.
I am using the insert link with text, how can i embed it? the tag line is the name, no?

That was a copy/paste of the url.
Folks would know that if it is Rumble, it's a vid.
Runtimes are always required, and a short synopsis so folks with"challenging" Internet providers can decide whether to watch or not.
Also you have the option of labeling it a video in the prefix drop down box.

Usually I just click on the URL, which hilights it.
Then I click copy, and paste it into the replay box.
Just practice.
You can play in the TEST forum.
That's the same way I do it for zerohedge articles, breitbart, and even youtube.

Copy url/address there, paste here.

I use the read function to paste the entire article which leaves out all the adds, and I jump pictures unless it is pertinent.

However pics and meme's I copy there, and paste here in full seems to work well. For instance:

PLAY - Funny Stuff Found on the Internet - REMINDER: POLITICAL HUMOR IS NOT ALLOWED ON THIS THREAD

And from the first page:

how do you embed that video instead of the link
It's a You Tube link. Those embed as videos automatically. Only certain sites will embed as videos.

If you go to the "Insert Media" area above (the symbol with a picture frame in front of a video tape image) you can see what types of media will be acceptable (and I think most automatically "insert" when you post just the link, as well):

You may insert media from these sources

Saved, to glorify God.
If they had stolen $12,000 from a BANK there would be a serious Investigation and consequences but a small retailor, probably franchised? Tough nuggies, just consider it a "reparations payment!" / sarc off

So we have to go to rumble and figure out how to make a video play to determine the city? Why not put that in the post? @Shifty, intentional clickbait doesn't play well here.
The guy is new, and the video description does not say what city it happened in. I went and checked.

This is part and parcel of the continuing devolution of the country. It has a strong racial component which the media - including most conservative media - is loathe to acknowledge.

This lawlessness is essentially political in nature, beginning with leftist's attempts over the decades to become, for lack of a better expression, 'soft on crime' and reduce both the power and ability of the police and citizens to defend themselves and interdict criminal activity.

The soft on crime approach includes raising the value of stolen property to reach the felony threshold and policy adjustments on the part of the police not to respond, or at least respond quickly, to most property crimes. Additionally, leftist District Attorney's offices have consistently and intentionally reduced the resources they devote to so-called minor crimes or elect not to prosecute them at all.

Do not expect this state of affairs to change in the liberal cities and areas. It can only be expected to get worse over time and as I see it, the only practical defensive strategy for most Americans is to vote with their feet; i.e. move to a more conservative area.

Whoa, whoa...... don't worry. We've all messed up on occasion. Well, accept for me. ;)
Hang in there and keep on posting. It's all good.
Yeah that makes two of us. Phew I thought I was a loner.

@Shifty:

Almost any video can be checked at youtube. Any video that has a "watch on youtube" link will take you to the youtube site and you can call up the video there. If you watch a part or all of the video, drag the time line bar back to the beginning (copying the address has the timestamp included up to where you watched it) and then click in the url/address bar, and it will insert the video automatically.

Example:

Opening a new Browser window, and clicking on my fav's youtube link.

Find the youtube video you want. Open video. I stopped this one in the first couple of seconds so the time line bar is way to the left.

Click in address bar at the top.

And then paste here and it looks like this:

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCMU176TYNc

post run time (RT)

15:17

Make any comments you want and click reply. Note "watch on youtube" in the bottom left corner

BTW below is the address that has been alter to show what the address looks like before it auto loads. Note the Http:// and the first w is missing.

ww.youtube.com/watch?v=SCMU176TYNc

Doing tweets is a whole different world, and you'll need to speak Klingon for those.

There is a VIDEO prefix that we try to get people to use when posting a video.

Normally just pasting the link into the text entry area will “unfurl” it. We have a “TEST AREA” room where you can try all kinds of different things.

Enjoy.
