Its worth repeating here.......individuals are the exception while racial generalization/stereotype service a purpose of a cautionary exercise beyond the individual.

Taken in context is this fact.............by 40 years old 30% of Black males in this country will have had a felony. Whereas the same stat for White males is 4%.

Now let's say you have the next Clarence Thomas or Thomas Sowell type as your "one of the good one" Black friend..............well over the time you befriend him.......he just doesn't come as a solo package right?

So image a social function where he has other Black family and/or friends together with you?...............what do you think the percentages are that someone his tribe could make end up making life difficult for you?

Its not worth having one of the "good ones" to risk the high probably of ending up being victimized by such a high social dysfunctional rate among other members of his tribe............and as a result you'd be prudent to act accordingly based on those statistical generalizations.

I know a person years ago in my neighborhood who ignored those stats...............so they had some social functions with their good Black friend both at his place and their place..............and lo and behold within a couple of months his house got robbed. Fortunately, nobody was home because the perps were armed and considered dangerous.......so how do you think that could have ended up if he or his family might have been home when that robbery happened?

So who were the perps in that break in?.........they were his Black friend's nephews out on parole from Negro University (aka state correctional institution) at the time they broke in his house and robbed him...............

I'd rather be labeled the next David Duke or Archie Bunker than put up with crap like that just to demonstrate that "I'm not prejudice".

Besides another reason I don't have any Black friends is simple........

1) I don't like rap music (if you can call it that)

2) I have no interest in basketball as a hobby or a sport. In fact I hate the sound of one of those balls bouncing non stop on the pavement.

3) and most importantly.....I like it to be quiet after 9pm in the evening.

That right there is enough that I don't have a compatible culture/lifestyle to them.

So just imagine me trying to bond with one of the good Blacks when:

1) I don't own a TV

2) For me cars are transportation not statements of who I am nor my perceived social status.

2) I read a book a week from the library

3) I eat a very controlled healthy diet. Don't drink, smoke or take drugs.........hell I don't ever consider consuming grape drank or Flamin' Hot Cheetos

4) I make as much money as I can and live as cheap as possible so I can invest it.

5) My favorite subject to contemplate is a secular scientific philosophical prospective on reality and specifically to the role of quantum physics/general relativity in the universe.

Good Gawd I'm a Black culture's worst nightmare...............they wouldn't want to have anything to do with me so why pretend I enjoy that interaction?
