NYC Woman on Ebola Watchlist Dies Bleeding From Mouth, Authorities Say"
Heart Attack"

Are suspected Ebola cases being covered up?

by Paul Joseph Watson | November 19, 2014

A woman who returned from Guinea 18 days ago and was on an Ebola monitoring list dropped dead in a Brooklyn hair salon yesterday after eyewitnesses said she began bleeding from the mouth and nose, but authorities later asserted the cause of death was an 'apparent heart attack.'

'FDNY activated the Special Operations and Hazmat units after the the woman, who had traveled to Guinea three weeks ago according to a source on the scene, died at Amy Professional African Hair Braiding in the Brownsville area of Brooklyn,' reports the Daily Mail.

Despite eyewitnesses reporting that there was blood coming from the woman's 'face, nose and mouth,' health authorities claimed 'she had not displayed any Ebola symptoms' and had in fact died of a heart attack. The woman, who was in her 40's, is being tested for Ebola, the results of which will be announced later today.

The salon was later decontaminated by the Hazmat crew but was not evacuated after the woman dropped dead and people were allowed to walk in and out of the establishment unprotected. Members of the Hazmat crew said they were dealing with a 'fever travel illness' but subsequently claimed that no fluids had left the woman's body.

New York City had its first and (officially at least) only case of Ebola after Dr. Craig Spencer contracted the virus as a result of treating Ebola victims in Guinea. Spencer went on to make a full recovery after intensive treatment at the Bellevue Hospital.

Suspicions as to whether Ebola cases are being covered up by health authorities continue to linger after it was revealed earlier this month that mainstream media outlets have agreed to a government demand not to report on suspected Ebola cases in the United States.

Last month it was reported that 911 dispatchers in New York City had been forbidden from using the word 'Ebola' over the radio and should instead refer to possible cases as 'F/T,' as in Fever/Travel.

In an interview on the Alex Jones Show last month, Doctor James Lawrenzi revealed that health authorities are covering up potential Ebola cases in the United States and disappearing patients in an effort to avoid hysteria.

Medical professionals have predicted that the U.S. could see over one hundred Ebola cases by the end of the year, while others warn that Ebola victims may be confused with influenza sufferers given the similarity of early symptoms.

ZH is carrying this too.

"Fever travel illness" is the code dispatch was instructed to use to alert 1st responders to possible Ebola - without alerting anyone else. This woman was being monitored; she arrived from Guinea 18 days ago.

Just a week after Dr. Craig Spencer was declared 'Ebola-free', The Daily Mail reports a woman, who had arrived from Guinea 18 days ago (and was on the NYC Ebola monitoring list), dropped dead in a Brooklyn hair salon this afternoon. FDNY sent their Special Operations and Hazmat units but she was declared dead at the scene. Witnesses said she was bleeding from the "face, nose, mouth, everything."

As The Daily Mail reports,

There are new fears of a possible Ebola outbreak in New York City after a woman dropped dead on Tuesday afternoon.

FDNY activated the Special Operations and Hazmat units after the the woman, who had recently traveled from Guinea according to a source on the scene, died at Amy Professional African Hair Braiding in Brooklyn.

He then said he ran in there to find a woman laying on the floor.

When asked what she was bleeding from, Costa said, 'face, nose, mouth, everything.'

Meanwhile, members of FDNY could be seen carefully changing into Hazmat gear outside before heading into the establishment, for what they referred to as a 'fever travel illness.'

At the same time, individuals could be seen walking in and out of Amy Professional African Hair Braidig wearing no protection at all.

It had been reported in October that an FDNY memo instructed all personnel to use more vague terms when discussing Ebola, such as 'fever travel incident.'
According to a source who was on the scene, the incident occurred just after 3:00 in the afternoon, and the woman was pronounced dead on arrival.

As ABC reports, the woman was on the NYC monitoring list...

ABC7 reports further that,

The remains of a woman who died of an apparent heart attack at a hair salon in Brooklyn will be tested for Ebola.

EMS responded to the hair salon on Belmont Avenue in Brownsville around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

She was declared dead at the scene.

The woman had been on the list of those being monitored for Ebola exposure.

She had recently arrived in the city from Guinea and was one of 350 people on the monitor list.

The New York City Health Department said at last check the woman did not have symptoms and was being monitored because of her travel history.

She had been back in the country for 18 days.

Test results are expected back late Tuesday or early Wednesday.

Of course that won't matter, because it won't be Ebola. TPTB have so ordered, and thus shall it be done.

Yeah right. On an Ebola monitoring list and then dies while bleeding from the mouth and eyes and the cause of death....heart attack? Any of our doctors, nurses or paramedics on the board want to buy that whopper? Ebola has pretty much disappeared from main stream news as we postulated that it would shortly after our newest 'czar' was installed. They'll hide it until they can't anymore. The problem certainly hasn't gone away.

Tests negative for Ebola

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -
The New York City Dept. of Health has confirmed to Fox 5 News that tests for Ebola on the body of a woman in Brooklyn have come back negative.
The woman died after suffering a heart attack inside a hair salon in Brownsville on Tuesday.
The 40-year-old victim had returned from West Africa 18 days ago.

She reportedly keeled over in a salon chair at Amy's Professional African Hair Braiding. She was one of dozens of people the city had been monitoring for Ebola symptoms.

She was pronounced dead at the scene at about 2:30 p.m.

Emergency crews responded to the salon, including health department investigators, who removed samples for Ebola testing.

The hair salon was scrubbed and decontaminated by crews in haz-mat suits.

Hey, lots of 40 year olds drop dead from heart attacks! I wonder if she died half-braided or half-weaved?

i'm so glad we have an omnipotent czar to stop this ebola in its tracks in america

he's so talented

maybe if he just set foot on the continent of africa it could be magically stopped there too?

Wouldn't it be 'interesting' if the virus is changing (or affects some people differently) so that some are infected but do not have obvious symptoms or are not deathly ill until it hits a certain point, working on their organs 'behind the scene,' and just drops them dead. Heart attacks with bleeding...haven't we heard this before with those returning from Africa?

keep your eye on the ball
Perhaps these ebola tests dont pick-up this type of ebola strain? Maybe we dont really know what we are dealing with. If so then the 21 day quarantine, the fever and the other symptoms are not good indicators

That what was happening in Africa based on some of the reports that I have read on the lengthy Ebola reports here and elsewhere.

wow. so she tested negative for the reagent strain.

this means that she probably managed to spread the strain she had to lots and lots of people who frequented that hair salon. in the middle of NYC. they will NEVER catch them all before it goes big time. this is huge.

that's it. ff to the races.

That happens a lot. You can have scene tape all around the hot zone, and still there will be people that will try to get in. They'll have various excuses like; "I just need to deliver this small package real quick."

this is interesting. i don't know if anyone has mentioned this before but...apparently...the US is using a gulfstream III owned by "U.S. military air support provider Phoenix Air" to transport ebola patients to the US in order to keep such arrivals off the public's radar. doing a search of the plane's 'N' number i see that it is headed to Dakar west africa right now and has made many flights between africa and the US, mainly Georgia and Virginia.

here's a video describing the situation:

and i found this also:

This Amazing Jet Will Transport Ebola Victims From Africa To The U.S.

How do you pack two patients that are infected with one of the world's deadliest viruses into a pressurized aluminum tube that is filled with healthy care takers and pilots for 12 hours and not get almost everyone infected in the process? You use this old ex-Royal Danish Air Force Gulfstream III that is highly modified to convey very ill people over very long distances.

N173PA looks like it belongs to the military, in fact the USAF and USMC have an almost identical paint job on some of their C-20 aircraft, and like N173PA, some of them also feature a massive clam-shell cargo door as well. This 32 year old Gulfstream III was once owned and operated by the Royal Danish Air Force and wore the military tailcode 'F-313' at the time. The jet still retains her original Royal Danish Air Force livery, minus the government titles and insignia of course.

'F-313' was sold to U.S. military air support provider Phoenix Air in January of 2005. Phoenix Air is well known for providing adversary support and electronic warfare training to the DoD. With their massive fleet of tiger-striped Learjets being forward based near key U.S. Naval installation, they can often be seen lugging electronic warfare pods and anti-ship missile emitter simulators.

These jets fly attack profiles on U.S. Navy ships and air defense units, mimicking the tactics and technologies of America's potential enemies. In addition to their Learjet fleet, Phoenix Air has two nearly identical Gulfstream IIIs intercontinental business jets, which are used for rapid cargo transport and air ambulance duties.

These jets appear to have been used as government contract aircraft on and off over the last decade, as their large cargo doors and convertible interiors allows them to carry out-sized cargo, passengers or modular medical components and stretchers. Also, the jets' inconspicuous business jet nature and civilian 'N number' allows them to operate in and out of sensitive areas while keeping a relatively low profile.

Phoenix Air's configurable Gulfstream III air ambulance is one of the most advanced and capable in the world. Additionally, the Gulfstream platform can do what many other air ambulances cannot: Travel intercontinental distances at high speed, with a good sized medical team embarked. This unique aircraft, and the Federal Government's already close relationship with Phoenix Air, makes the jet and its operator logical candidates for such a challenging mission.

For the flight to Liberia, Phoenix Air's Gulfstream III will most likely be outfitted with a modular Aeromedical Biological Containment System, a tent-like plastic structure that is provided with negative air pressure to keep pathogens from entering the cabin. This is in addition to the jet's already extensive medical equipment that can be configured to treat and monitor the patient's unique symptoms during a flight.

The jet initially took off on its mission Thursday at 2:03pm EST, but turned back after only 2 hours and 14 minutes of what should have been a six and a half hour flight to the Azores for a refueling stop. Then, at 5:08PM EST, Phoenix Air flight 333, under the callsign "Gray Bird" made its way to the Azores once again.

Although Phoenix Air is known as a top tier air ambulance service, with specialized capabilities, and the company does take on some pretty wild missions that take their crews to some strange places (their other GIII is currently at a pretty obscure locale), the DoD does have the ultimate specialized military unit for this type of mission.

The US Army's SMART-AID, Special Medical Augmentation Response Team- Aeromedical Isolation Team, part of the US Army's Medical Research Institute For Infectious Diseases, is the Pentagon's crack outfit that was established to carry out this exact kind of task, even in a war zone environment. They are equipped with top of the line equipment and have been on high alert during the Global War On Terror. Seeing as this is the first time an Ebola patient has been brought to the United States, one would think that such a unit would want to handle the mission instead of a government air ambulance contractor.

None-the-less, Phoenix Air is a top notch operation, and they are patriots for taking on such a high-profile and high-stakes mission. Although there is some debate as to whether infected patients should be brought back to the US in their condition, let's wish the brave crew and the very ill passengers of "Gray Bird 333" a safe trip with no surprises.

If it IS ebola (and heart trouble runs in MY family---I have NEVER seen a heart attack patient "bleeding from the eyes, nose, mouth, everything"), then every person in that hair salon is now a carrier, and whoever was working on her braiding is a dead person walking.

NYC is now contaminated (if it wasn't already)....

Heart attacks have been linked to Ebola from the first outbreak.

There was Nurse Mayinga, in the 1976 Congo outbreak. An animal caretaker in Virginia during the Reston outbreak, and of course, a couple people who had heart attacks while fleeing the outbreaks. (We generally don't acknowledge the panic situation but it was there, and documented by African media). One lady died in London of a heart attack after leaving Liberia, IRRC.

Ebola can kill by damaging the kidneys, or by causing heart attack or stoke through blod clots. See The Hot Zone, page. 88. Mayinga's bleeding came out of the mouth and nose, never in gushes, but dripping as her heart went "blubbery" before it ceased to function.

wonder if the "negative test result" was from the "quickie" immediate test they give, and whether there will even BE a second test done--the more intensive and detailed test that takes 48 hours to come back.

IIRC, many who 'tested negative' on the 'quickie' test, subsequently tested positive on the more extensive one...

Not in my 24 years in-field experience. Now *maybe* an ascending aortic aneurysm, which is definitely NOT a heart attack, but from a heart attack? Not very darn likely, in fact the possibility of such would be well nigh on incalculable.

Someone could fall/faint and blood from a head gash might cover most of the face. That happened to me when I fell and got a concussion. I imagine it could happen with a heart attack. But if the blood was clearly streaming out of the nose, mouth and eyes without a gash... The heart attack explanation seems wrong.

No, the .gov is accomplishing their main goal. Ebola doesn't scare the government nearly as much as an Ebola-panic scares them. A panic would take the feet out from under the economy in a New York Minute. If we're going to get scared, they want us to get scared slowly instead of quickly, like the 50's nuke danger instead of like a hurricane coming.

I'd think an aortic aneurysm would bleed out internally, not out the orofices. How is the blood getting to the airway in such a case?

That is why I added the cautionary *maybe* as in faintly possible. There'd have to be a whole range of problems all coinciding and coming together. Like I said, possible but incalculable as far as the odds of such an event.
