President Trump on Sunday went after Barack Obama and DOJ IG Michael Horowitz, who was appointed by Obama.
“As bad as the I.G. Report is for the FBI and others, and it is really bad, remember that I.G. Horowitz was appointed by Obama. There was tremendous bias and guilt exposed, so obvious, but Horowitz couldn’t get himself to say it. Big credibility loss. Obama knew everything!” Trump said in a tweet.

Michael Horowitz finally released his report on FISA abuses last Monday. The report revealed what we knew to be true all along — the FBI defrauded the FISA court and purposely omitted exculpatory information from the FISA judges in order to obtain FOUR FISA warrants on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page.Horowitz, however concluded that the FBI investigation into Trump was not politically motivated.A completely ridiculous conclusion given his report found 17 errors, 51 violations and 9 false statements made by the FBI in just one year while they were targeting Carter Page.

Horowitz refused to state the obvious — the FBI purposely targeted Trump’s 2016 campaign and beyond because they hated him and wanted to take him out. US Attorney from Connecticut John Durham immediately released a statement following the release of the FISA report and disputed Horowitz’s findings and conclusions.
“I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff. However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department. Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S. Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened,” John Durham said in a rare statement.
John Durham was tapped by Bill Barr earlier this year to conduct an investigation into the origins of Spygate.
Mr. Durham has already traveled to Italy and other countries as part of his sprawling investigation into how Obama’s corrupt FBI and intel agencies launched and carried out the largest spy operation of a presidential candidate in US history.

Unlike Horowitz, Durham has real power to bring the coup plotters to justice, such as the power to indict and impanel a grand jury.

Horowitz might just as well as Mueller did......"it isn't in my purview", regarding the bias which was investigated to start the Russia investigation, up to the FISA warrant......very limited time frame.

Then he asked the bad guys at FBI if they had a bias......they said "no" said he did not have any documentation to dispute that. Pretty bad parameters for his whole study.

As friends and I have discussed, there's no way people at that level of the food chain are going to enter into anything approaching this kind of a conspiratorial mess without direct instruction from people high enough up the chain to give them cover. Apparatchiks just don't do that, independently go rogue, because they understand administrations come and go and that kind of exposure is a career and pension killer. And an idle remark akin to Henry II to a couple of his drinking buddies about the Archbishop of Canterbury aren't going to cut it either as a trigger.

Either Trumps gets his guys to bring up charges against these guys and gals with prosecutions, or he better just shut up or it's only going to hurt him. Especially if he goes after the chocolate Messiah, he better have more than hearsay, and his legal team and Repubs behind him.

Me thinks there's a few Repubs that would be caught up in there too. Their roots run deep. They want this swept under the carpet. Trump is treading in very dangerous waters. He better get all his ducks in order.

Won't just hurt Trump, those people hate "We The People" too. If left unchecked the nation faces changes our children will not endure easily. The Future, our children and grandchildren, will be the ones hurt.

FARRELL: Obama Wanted To Know Everything His Trump Spies Were Doing, And It Looks Like He Did

CHRIS FARRELL JUDICIAL WATCH
December 13, 201910:00 AM ET

When it comes to the unlawful surveillance on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, the most important question is, what did President Obama know and when did he know it? If we are to believe the testimony in the Justice Department inspector general’s report on FISA abuse, Obama didn’t know anything about the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

Neither did his attorney general, her deputy, or anyone in the White House. At least not that they can recall – an expression used over 200 times in the report.

Yet against this we have the Sept. 2, 2016, text message from Lisa Page to her paramour Peter Strzok saying “POTUS wants to know everything we are doing.” True to form, the IG report goes to great lengths to argue that “knowing everything” in fact meant knowing nothing at all.

The text message first appeared in Feb. 2018 when it was released by Congress, and later in the June 2018 IG report on bias in the FBI’s investigations leading up to the 2016 election. The message was critically important because it elevated the scandal to the White House level and dragged it into the Obama Oval Office. But the June 2018 IG report basically ignored the importance of this message, and the new report takes pains to explain it away.

The public debate about the issue goes back to the first revelations about the illicit spying, when President Trump tweeted that he “Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory.” The president was roundly mocked for this “baseless” claim, and pundits and politicians huffed mightily that such a spying operation was unthinkable. Of course, now we know many of the details of this sophisticated and falsely obtained surveillance operation.

And note the carefully worded denial that came from the Obama camp at that time. Spokesman Kevin Lewis said that it was “simply false” that the White House ordered surveillance against “any U.S. citizen” — but more to the point that “no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice.”
So this was not a denial that spying ever happened, just that Obama had nothing to do with it. It hearkens back to Obama’s similar claim made in April 2016 regarding the Hillary Clinton email investigation, that “there is no political influence in any investigation conducted by the Justice Department, or the FBI, not just in this case, but in any case.”

So who knew about Crossfire Hurricane according to testimony in the new IG report? FBI Director James Comey admitted he was kept well informed on the investigation. Deputy Director Andrew McCabe discussed it with him at regular briefings starting in August 2016.
But Comey is as far as the information went, so the report claims. Attorney General Loretta Lynch says she was not briefed, she provided no guidance, and she was completely uninvolved in the Carter Page FISA authorization request. Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates was likewise out of the loop. Neither Lynch nor Yates had any knowledge of White House meetings about Crossfire Hurricane. Office of the Attorney General staff had “no recollection” of these matters, though email evidence shows thy were informed of the effort to seek a FISA warrant against Carter Page. And Lynch admitted Comey and McCabe had told her about Carter Page being a suspected Russian collaborator in the spring of 2016, before Trump was even nominated. Comey and McCabe did not recall this meeting.

Comey testified that there was “no request from the White House to investigate members of the Trump campaign” or inquiries regarding collusion. Yet Lisa Page’s infamous September 2 text was in the context of putting together talking points for a Comey meeting presumably at the White House, because “POTUS wants to know everything we are doing.” Strzok replies, “I’m sure an honest answer will come out of that meeting.” But an answer to what?

Strzok testified that these texts referred only to the generic question of Russian election meddling. Yet the report reveals that Comey told Obama and other officials at a White House Situation Room meeting around the same time that “the FBI was trying to determine whether any U.S. person had worked with the Russians” and that they were looking into “four individuals with ‘some association or connection to the Trump campaign.'”

Others present at the meeting were Chief of Staff Dennis McDonough, National Security Adviser Susan Rice, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, CIA Director John Brennan, and National Security Agency Director Michael Rogers, none of whom were interviewed for this report. Incredibly, Comey claimed that no one at the meeting “responded or followed up with any questions” (p. 110).

This revelation should have been a major headline from the IG report was buried in the media narrative that there was “no political bias” in this obviously grossly biased and ill-predicated domestic spying operation.

Former Whitewater Independent Counsel Robert Ray was “aghast to learn how little involved the attorney general and the deputy attorney general of the United States” were in Crossfire Hurricane. He said he could not believe “that there is an investigation that would take you inside a presidential campaign and four people who were targeted within that campaign and that doesn’t require some kind of supervisory review and initiation beyond simply the inner-reaches of the FBI.”

Indeed, as Attorney General William Barr said, spying on a presidential campaign is “a big deal.” People can rationalize it or explain it away, but any plain reading of the record tells us what we need to know. Obama wanted to know everything they were doing, and it looks like he did.

Pride comes before the fall.....Pride month ended.
The fact that the lefts media can spin such truths and maintain the elusion with no recourse in the short term is quite concerning, as we have plenty of other escapades of the long term. Obama's BC, 911, Lynch and Clinton, Fast and Furious, let alone Kennedy and Pearl Harbor......the list is so so long. Trump appears to be fighting the good fight, I pray he is and I have believed in him. Unfortunately, the truth will take time to determine.

So much can happen in time. Trust in the Good Lord, but prepare for Hell on earth.

Probably the reason Trump wants a Senate Trial. He wants it on the record and on live TV that Obama was involved up to his neck in this mess.

Discovery will uncover a lot of dirt.

There will be no Senate trial of any consequence.
Linda Graham has explicitly said so

Graham may not want a lot of dirt uncovered.

Think about all the crap he pulled with McShame.

Yes they're pushing for this disappear ASAP. But Lindsey Graham is one republican waste deep with Burisma and the rest ( snake, not to be trusted). Many others too I'd wager. Both Demonrats and Repub.

Trump hopefully knows what's at stake and has it figured out ( I doubt he does). The deep state has proven to be very effective at getting rid of their problems.

Trump has tried to distance himself from the DOJ proceedings.

A good tactic when they start uncovering dirty politicians, of both parties.

Ok, I get it that these criminals may not all face the same justice as we peons, but there has to be some kind...

Some cost or price to be paid to let others go...say, a bunch of mid level people falling on their swords...

Say, Strozk, Page, Lynch, Holder, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Rice, Emmanuel, and a few others...let them go down hard, and Obama & Clinton can walk...

Sure, I wanna see Obama & Clinton hang on the gallows, but I don’t think it’ll happen...so, just throw 12-15 of the others to the wolves publicly and I’ll be happy!

THEN, expose the Obama & Clinton involvement later...say, a time released government report...like the Warren Commission Report. That way the Obama/Clinton legacy will be forever ruined as it should.

There, that’s all I want for Christmas!

Trump should have just fired all the Obama appointees right off the bat. By design appointees work as the pleasure of the President. Fire them all and start fresh.

I've often wondered whether Obammy signed a ream of presidential pardons before leaving office - probably wouldn't stand up for crimes committed after his administration ended - no such thing as a perpetual pardon >>>> but all this Coup crap connected to the presidential campaign - Fast & Furious - Benghazi - IRS scandal - NSA spying >>> ECT ECT ECT
