PAUL ahead of Gingrich in Nevada

Paul Neuman? Paul McCartney, Paul Anka, Les Paul?

Media knows of no others.

I think we should have a TB2000 challenge night and name ALL the Pauls. St. Pauli Girl?

But like the media we WON'T name Ron Paul in the thread.

I would love a second place finish by Ron Paul. The MSM would then have to acknowledge him at least for a short time.

If Dr. Ron Paul comes in second in Nevada then I would say it is all over for that miserable little vermin Newt Gingrich.

Despite anything Newt says to the contrary (and he will say anything), his money and support will dry up so fast you can hear the wallets slamming shut and the feet running out of the room.

I have noticed that most of the populace is not really checking these guys out as to their back ground and look for the lesser evil and also noting all but one of them is being force upon us by the political party.

In Nevada it's a caucus not a primary and it's not a done deal until until the delegates go to the county and the state conventions.
The delegates don't have to pledge to any candidate.

Nevada should just have a primary as it is now the the RNC and the DNC can do what ever they want with their delegates in these caucus things.

I was a delegate in 2008.

Still not impressed with any of them. Don't get me started on Romney. Newt: an avowed "Wilsonian"? And is it true Ron Paul is a Freemason? Sheesh. What next?

Doesn't matter, because the media has their man (Romney) leading the race. It'll be Romney vs Bracula come November, if we have a November and Bracula will "win" again. We can hope, but there is this thing called "Reality" that gets in the way. Even this Reality is a manipulated reality.

Of course not. 90% of the sheep are content to see a (D) or and (R), a shit-eatin'-politician-grin, and the word "change" at some point and then they'll happily take whatever they're handed and then bitch about the results for another 4 years.

No one is ever happy with the way it's going in America, and yet no one will do a damn thing to fix it. "Dogs to their vomit."

Agreed M117. Its so discouraging that "he who must not be named" is NOT named. Even when he comes in a strong second in South Carolina - and blows away the 3rd and 4th. It's like he's a "grey man" or something.

And the amazing thing is that more people of the mainstream don't seem to see it. Like they have blinders on. And why they haven't put their hooves down about it I can't imagine. Or at least kick over the water bucket.

And yet the online forums seem to be filled with people whispering. Like maybe the plow has hit the hornet nest and everyone is just waiting for the first sting? Or the first slap. Or to jump in the pond.

I can't say for sure but Ron Paul won this one and I'm waiting for the MSM to not show any more on this what so ever.

Here is a post I made on FreeRepublic describing what I witnessed at the caucus I attended. Let me update it to say that I read on a local news site the votes were tallied and Paul won by a wide margin. I'm not finding the link and too tired to hunt for it-

I went to the evening caucus at the Adelson Campus, a Jewish center, specially set up for people that observe a Sat. sabbath, as myself. I went alone and didn’t know anyone, but I can tell you that I heard several times that people had been turned away from several caucus locations earlier in the day and were unable to vote, thus some had come to the evening caucus. There were a number of people upset about this. People voting were required to sign an affidavit that they could not vote earlier because of religious beliefs.

The caucus went overwhelmingly to Paul. I thought Newt took second. Romney and Santorum both seemed liked real yawns from the audience. I don’t know the vote counts, but this is just my observation from the people that spoke up for their chosen candidate. The local news reported Romney came in second only a few minutes after I got home and I was surprised they could count the votes so fast, so I question that assertion. Several people spoke up for Newt- mostly in general terms. So many people wanted to speak up about Paul, they finally had to move on. The people that spoke up about Paul for the most part were well versed on him, his politics and track record. I think only 2 people spoke up for Romney with nothing of real substance and 2 for Santorum citing him being a Christian. I’m trying to make my report as unbiased as possible. I would have liked to have stayed till the end of the vote count, but just couldn’t.

As a side issue, there was a disruptor at the start of registration yelling loudly that it was an illegal vote. It got very close to becoming a violent confrontation and took quite a while to get under control. I kept my nose in my Mahjong game on my Kindle off to the side.

One furrow mind.

Sorry. Humble apologies.

Definitely NOT purebred. Owner chides me. Too light for good plowing. Too heavy for good riding.

I still love him though. And he me.

Why not just extend the caucus voting times for -everybody-?

Special Nevada caucus draws complaints

February 5, 2012 9:58 AM

LAS VEGAS - Hours after Nevada presidential caucus locations had closed on Saturday, more than 300 voters wrapped around the Adelson Educational Campus here to participate in an unusual exception to the state's election laws: a chance for orthodox Jews and Seventh-day Adventists to cast their ballots after sundown.

But near the table where participants were to sign an affidavit stating under penalty of perjury that their religious beliefs precluded their ability to vote during regular caucus hours, a cluster of voters who did not meet that requirement slowed the line as they were turned away, one by one. Most had come at the urging of the Ron Paul campaign, which had placed calls to its supporters informing them of the "second chance" to vote Saturday night.

"I received probably 10 phone calls today saying if you didn't make it this morning to your caucus, you can come down here - 30 minutes away from my home - and they would let you vote, get a second chance at it," said 23-year-old Henderson resident Michael DiCicco, a Paul supporter who said he was not aware the late caucus was reserved solely for those who practice certain religions. "It's discrimination."

Stephen Melancon, another Ron Paul supporter who was a delegate in 2008, said he was aware that the exception was to accommodate based on religious beliefs, but, "I thought there's no way they're gonna be able to restrict registered Republicans who were not able to vote in the caucus." Melancon, a high school teacher, said he was working a second job in the morning during the regular caucuses.

Critics weren't limited to Paul backers. Newt Gingrich supporter James Grindstaff, a Seventh-day Adventist who made it inside and knew the conditions of the late caucus, called the exclusion of those who did not meet the religious requirement "ridiculous," and was asking around for someone with whom he could lodge a formal complaint.

Clark County GOP Chair David Gibbs said the exception was approved under caucus rules, and had been vetted by attorneys. Asked why the county chose to make an exception for religious purposes and not other circumstances that would potentially prevent attendance on a Saturday morning, Gibbs reasoned, "there's a difference."

"If somebody wanted to be there but they don't have the means, they have friends, you know, they have other opportunities," he said. "I know folks who took the day off at work today in order to participate in the caucuses this morning."

Gibbs added that the exception "had nothing whatsoever to do with anything other than the fact that these folks who could not participate because of religious observances. Nothing."

Prior to the event, skeptics questioned the coincidence that the late caucus would take place at a Jewish school named for casino mogul Sheldon Adelson, who has poured millions of dollars into a pro-Newt Gingrich Super PAC. Adelson, who attended the caucus, has denied any involvement in organizing it.

After a delayed start and more than an hour of hearing arguments from various candidate supporters, Paul was declared the winner of the special caucus with 183 votes over Mitt Romney, Gingrich, and Rick Santorum, who received 61, 57, and 16 votes, respectively.

Last night I was reading from another forum where three people each at different precincts in Clark County and what they were saying was that Paul and Romney were out ahead of the other two by a long shot and Ron Paul was wining but somehow Romney won when he should not have. Now if this is any indicator of how the people were really voting, Paul should have won Clark County.

There were a lot of shenanigans. People didn't know the where or when of some of the caucuses, people were turned away, people had their precincts changed and found out when they showed up at the wrong place, people voted on ballots that weren't valid ballots that had been passed out, ballots were put in envelopes and left sitting out, etc. There were a lot of angry people at the evening caucus wanting to vote who hadn't been allowed to.

I just seen some video footage and one shot showed the GOP headquarters and in the forefront in the room on the left you see a pile of Mitt Romney Campaign signs.

That's with 50% of Clarke County votes still not accounted for. 60% of NV voters live in Clark County.

Suspicious? You bet.

Beyond suspicious......it's sickening! I honestly don't remember when these caucus states have had these kinds of "problems" counting their votes......it's beyond suspicious......it's fraud, plain and simple. And the public is expected to roll over and play dead....because the control masters know there's not a damn thing we can do about it and they're laughing their ass off at us.
