ECON People's view of Trump's Economy vs Biden

I really don't know if my view on the world is getting skewed or people are getting much much more stranger and delusional.....

I remember, business being great, ( not good but great ) when Trump was in office. My expenses were low, my cash on hand was solid and growing and despite the stupid covid thing, it was a great time in life. Granted I was not happy with the extra stimulus, but I took it like everyone else did, so I can not complain about that too much......

YET...............................

All I am hearing from people is that things are better under Biden. Much better. The understand that there is high inflation, but none of that seems to bother them, despite that they can't pay their bills anymore. They all think things are so much better now than it was then.

WTF?????

Funny, maybe it’s a local thing or just who we know, but I don’t know a single person who thinks things are better under Biden. In fact, I know several who didn’t vote for Trump before or who said they wouldn’t vote for him this time who have totally switched to supporting him fully.

Never underestimate the ability of a large majority of people to be propagandized by the old media.

Oddly, I've had a much better run under Biden. But that's because Trump actually set it up properly.

Under Trump, I lost two good clients and had to cobble together crap to get me through one year. Then I hit an absolute jackpot series that I'm still riding today. Best paying jobs of my life. Trump set things up so well they survived three years of Biden. And of course, God gets the actual thanks; He put Trump there, after all. Just hope He'll do it again, and maybe a little stronger this time.

DW and I get SS plus I get fed.gov pension. We get great raises under the Dims. Unfortunately they screw up the economy so bad that it is a losing proposition. The inflation is so bad they can't hide it. Everyone gets screwed under the Dim's economy. It has always been this way as far back as I can remember.

I don't believe that anyone would fail to see it. It's a matter of being brainwashed to believe that anything Dim is good and anything Repuke is bad. No matter what happens!!! The abject stupidity/arrogance of the human race never ceases to amaze me.

There also tends to be the fact that many unfortunately get used to certain conditions. The longer inflation continues, the more these people just adapt and accept it, but still blindly believe that conditions are good and couldn't actually be quite a bit better.

Let it sink in that we live in a society who would rather have any “president” or “politician” piss down their back than work in the rain……all because the media told them that’s what’s best.

Made more money in my life under Trump. Not so with Biden. The manufacturing base is slowing with many downsizing or closing there doors after 50 years of being in business.

If you have anything to do with pumping oil, natural gas, or building ICE cars. It’s slowing. The jackass unions bragging about the deals they cut … those jobs will be gone in less than 5 years due to electric cars.

The only steady manufacturing is military, aerospace, medical, Blue Origin and Space X.

Supply chains and inventories are terrible.

Getting out the end of this year. Not my problem anymore. I paid my taxes and did my share.

"Smart people" are often politically dumb. Many people don't pay any attention to politics and get their "news" from old media.

The group here on tb2k are unusual/exceptional news and politics junkies!
