Pics - I shot some finally...

Between my broken arm and my dearest father, I was able to slip out today to get a few shots myself. I won't ever see these pics again without thinking of my Da and how much I love him

Hospice says he's in "transition" now, which I think is their word for dying. Um, we already knew that. I grabbed my camera when my sister drove me home to get some pics, the first I've got since I broke my arm.

My Da planted those tiny grapes about 15 years ago for me and they bloom faithfully.

beautiful pics...and so special. Went through what you're dealing with a few years back with my Dad...very hard but every last moment with him..even the hardest ones became a precious moment. A few hours before he passed I shaved him and cleaned him up cuz he hated to be unshaven. take time to breathe, it's all a blur now but the pics will help you remember later.

SO good that you are getting to spend this time with your dad M! And be there as support for others if needed...I had this opportunity several years back and will never forget it, its not as hard when you know they're going to a better place...

Nice pictures too BTW-good to see you shooting again!

Delightful and refreshing images, yes they should be placed in frame on display as a reminder of love.

You're correct, D. My Dad passed away early this morning.

Keep visualizing him in Jesus loving arms. You WILL see him again. We've been Promised that, by the One whose promises NEVER fail.

Yes, Maureen, he was in transition--from this earthly life to the heavenly one. May God hold you in the palm of His hand and comfort you in this very sad time.

Personally, it's been a bad year for me, but much worse for others. That's why we need this SIG.
