Pineapple Chesse Salad

This from my great great Aunt Walker sent to me in the 1980's from her family Recipe box. Antigo Wis. Might try this with cream cheese instead mixed into salad instead of chedder.
Pineapple Chesse Salad

1 level Table sp gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1/2 cup boiling water
2/3 cup grated colby or mild chedder cheese
1 cup crushed pineapple
1 Table sp sugar
dash salt
1/2 whipped cream.
Soak gelatin in cold water about 5 min. Dissolve in boiling water. Add suagr, salt, pineapple. When it begins to siffen, fold in cream & cheese.
