Awe, I was hoping to see other pictures, but thanks for all the nice comments.

To post a picture from your computer, it needs to be smaller than the original, so you need to edit it and resize it. I use large web size and then click ok and then Save as and give it a different name. Close your picture window application and click no, don't save the changes to the original as you want to keep it as it was.

Now in Reply to Thread, go down to Manage Attachment and Browse for your newly edited picture and click Upload and the file name should appear if it uploaded successfully. Keep uploading pictures then close the window and submit your reply.

Hope this refresher helps.

Pics of both your rigs are sweet! Makes me want to be out camping right now. It's been 4 months since we last took it out and haven't had a real vacation since last Thanksgiving.

The Lakota McKenzie is a nice rig. I like the floor plan and that extra bathroom is great and that entertainment system is awesome.

Took our rig out today for spin down to San Jose and Back to get the fluids moving around. It had been idle for 4 months. No issues; purrs like lion.

I love Junior!!!! That's what the fiver wants to be when it grows up. I love the double recliners. We are slowly moving out some of the original furniture for things that fit us better. I never saw a sun room before! Can't wait till you post more pictures.

The extra bath is nice, but more hoses, we couldn't leave in a hurry if we had to. We are trying to break ourselves of the habit of accumulating things, now we have plants, gazebo, bench seats, lawn chairs, coolers, etc all around us. Our new motto is nothing new comes in unless something old goes out. There are so many cool gadgets out there for RV's that we both get pretty tempted.

So glad that you started this thread, I really enjoy looking at the pictures.

Gillman, I apologize. I APPEAR to have "hijacked" your thread, replacing your OP with my own. Rest assured that that was NOT my intent. I was trying to COPY my pics onto your thread, but since my pics are an earlier post-time/date, they because the "default" OP. I had no idea the vBulletin software worked that way, as I've never done an individual post-copy before.

Perfectly O.K. No need to try to fix it. I'm just happy to see your new pictures! I have to say, that's a nice neighborhood you live in, what do the neighbors think? Any of them wanting one now?

This is the park that I have my RV in here in Southern CA, I've been in this park about years and a half now, the nice thing about having an RV is no matter where your base, or home is, or whatever, you can work anywhere in the country..

Ah, great rides. But I have the faster color, black. To go along with the GL1100 I only need tires replaced to complete my rebuild, and a 1000 in the barn... waiting.

I couldn't bug out... couldn't take 'em all. :D

Great, the GL1100 is bit small these day, but its still a very good ride, I'm picking up my GL1800 at the end of June, I have it on lay-way at the dealership.
I have not decided what to do with the GL1500 at this, time it set up with the Kenwood D710A dual band Ham, Radio w/APRS, the Valentine-one radar detector, the Garmin 376C GPS that is linked back into the Ham radio for APRS, every thing is intergraded back into the helmet with the Kennedy wiring harness set, plus the Motor has a 4 gal aux gas tank in the right saddle bag giving it range of 300+ miles. This is one smokin cross country Motorcycle.

One reason I built the 1100, it's naked & will fit in the rear of a pickup, while pulling a TT. My 1500 is way too long to close the tailgate.

Yes I see the problem, when I was pulling a TT back 70's and 80"s I carried my then Honda 750-4 in the same manner. But now that I have gone the Motorhome route, this is what I'm looking into. The Motorhome carried you still can tow a vehicle behind it, but you do need to make sure that RV can support a 1000 MC on the back, I not sure that mine will without some modification to the for the weight of the MC.

Hmmm

Well, here is my Flickr set for the photos:

Funny but true story: this is a '91 Cruise Air II by Georgie Boy. (John Deere made it)

We (DH and I) were looking for an RV for around $8,000-9,000 that we could do some work on to get it up to snuff. We found this one advertised for $9,000. The guy SHOULD have been a TB2Ker but never heard of this or some of the other big forums. He was very anti-gov and anti-tax, and was telling us that he was not going to pay the IRS any money based on a lot of different points, including laws that were established to be illegal, the bankruptcy of the US, admiralty law, etc. You all know the drill. While we were negotiating, the guy got a certified letter from the IRS indicating his money, etc was being seized. Oops. Seeing as how we had cash, he promptly dropped the price to $7,000. My husband is a canny man and a savvy negotiator. We walked off. The guy called us later, offering $6,000. My DH pointed out all of the flaws we found in the RV (water tank leaks, bad tires, break issues, genny issues, etc) and told him we'd give him $4,000 and not a penny more. The guy hollered at DH for a bit then hung up. He called the next day stating he would take $4,000 CASH but we had to come RIGHT THEN. DH did not have the time to drop everything and go (Saturday) and told the guy "We'll be there on Monday". Guy fumed and said he would sell it to someone else. It was still there on Monday so we picked it up and dropped it off at a local shop. $2,500 later we had all new tires, new breaks and master cylinder, new belts and hoses, hydraulics fixed, rebuilt carb, new plugs, cap, rotor and fuel filter, and smog certificate! Unfortunately right at that time (last Oct) I became very ill and was not ready to leave. I am fine now and ready to rock and roll! The RV already had a new roof and everything on the inside (fridge, stove, heaters, AC, tv et all ) already worked perfectly. This RV only had one prior owner before Tin Foil Guy: a little old guy that kept every receipt for every repair/ tune up, oil change etc the RV ever had! Tin Foil Guy gave us a giant envelope with all of it in there, TFG only had the RV for 6 months before he sold it to us and never even registered it in his name, lol. It only has 35,000 miles on it and the receipts verify it! We feel very blessed :) We've taken it out for a few short trips but my sister and her mechanic friend are going to take it out on a bigger trip to work out the bugs before we take it out of state :)
