Ya know, it just occurred to me. Just how dumb was this guy? He went to a motel room to meet a 7-year-old and an 11-year-old. Just how did he expect that children of that age could even rent a motel room, let alone pay for it? Or were they going to meet him while mommy and daddy were out?

I figured part of the "story" included a parent who was "arranging " things...

Considering the guy had a gun in hand, it sure looks like he might have been planning more than "just" a sexual encounter. I wonder if his DNA would match any homicides?

I get the adrenaline dump coinciding with the mag dump, but, there is a thing such as innocent bystanders getting hit by pass thru's and officer Rck O Shay. At the end he was shooting with people just out of the line of fire, down range...

So, on a safety level, mandated for the public, it was excessive and dangerous.

Adrenaline and target focus is logical and most likely to have played in.

Be interesting to know if he missed any shots, of if any did pass thru the structure and travel below that floor.

I have a niece who a few years ago learned her husband of the time was a pedophile. Fortunately before he got to her daughters begotten prior to their marriage. He was arrested after planning to travel to MN from IA for an arranged visit with a child who was being 'sold' by her own mother. Somehow the communication was found out before the trip. My niece had zero clue.

Those floors are generally 6 inches of concrete. At an angle, doubt if any penetration. Walls, maybe.

She has moved on and settled on a fellow. Family likes him kids like him, things are good last I knew. The other guy was never a good fit as far as family was concerned. Guess we know why.

I say there are enough of us left in Seattle to call it a good shoot. I've practiced at ranges with the cops. They are allowed to fast fire from the hip. I'd just shoot myself in the foot and I have training.

People think it's like the movies. there is so much stress involved that no one anticipates, that was a very difficult shoot for the cops.

My wife was nearly raped by Grandad on her 7th birthday. She never enjoyed birthdays after that. If I could transform that reactionless drive into a Time Machine I would go back to visit him, with duct tape and zip ties.
