They are talking about some serious rain fall for parts of the east coast and it's been raining here from about 1:00PM and still coming down but it not coming down hard we may see an inch of rain when its done there is a heavy fog here with the rain. Not much wind here but saying some areas may see some serious winds.

Wow, Giblin! That's crazy!

We've got flood warnings until Tuesday night. It won't affect our little homestead (although it's been a muddy mess for what seems like forever! But we're not near a creek or lake, so it's good)

Doesn't look like any snow in the forecast until after Christmas. :(

we had some snow cpl weeks back

and low temps

but yesterday was rain and plus 5 C

no below temps for next week

MITE get a white christmas here in northern ontario?

Update it stopped raining here about 4:00AM and wind has started and coming from the West to North West the temperature is 45F.
They are showing the night temperature's start going back to freezing starting tonight 31F and Tuesday somewhere in the mid 20s.

It’s very cold and blustery here in central Indiana.
I heard our morning news to watch for possible power outages today, it’s also spitting out graupel and a few snowflakes.

To be honest it’s pretty raw out, but I am enjoying seeing a little snow lol

Neither here nor there.
The drought is so bad here in Iowa that the city of Osceola. Iowa, is asking people to buy bottled water for drinking and cooking.

Meanwhile the north eastern part of the US is drowning in flood waters.

Forecast for us on Christmas Day is 65 degrees and thunderstorms. No white Christmas for us. We rarely have one, anyway, but are known to have tornadoes that day.

Not gonna happen here either. (N MN) Supposed to be in the 40's and maybe rain Christmas Eve Day. Local weather was saying the last brown Christmas we had was 2006. Can't come often enough for me! I've seen enough damned snow for 20 lifetimes.

We'll be having a brown and muddy Christmas...yuck! We did get about 3" of snow overnight, and temps got down to 22°, which helped the mud situation temporarily. But while I don't want FEET of snow, it would be nice to have a few inches covering the mud!
