Thank you for this story. I really enjoyed it. Even though it showed the hard times, it also showed a simpler, and more fulfilling life style. Great writing on your part.

Patience was a good man and writer. We had many pleasant conversations. I miss him.

His stories are worth reading multiple times. He and I thought a lot alike on getting by in grubby times. Wish I could have the luck to get the farms he built up.
