I love these things, but I can't buy a box of them, I'd eat them all in a day or so.I just picked up a box of frozen beef and cheese taquitos for our supper, tonight. I'm too tired to cook, and my back hurts.

42, might take me two days. Things I can't control I just stay from.I think there are 42 in the box I bought. We can't eat them all, so I just take out ever how many we need. I like mine with salsa dip. They make for a quick meal, but it's not something either one of us want to eat very often. I'm just too tired and hurting too bad to cook, tonight.
Rainy here again today for for the next several days. I have to turn on the ac when it get to 84 in the house because I can't stop coughing. I turned it on a few days ago just to lower the temp in the house a bit and then I turned it off. Right now I sleep with two small fans on me, although I have to keep them away from my head or I'll wake up stuffed up. I've got one perfectly angled at my neck.
I ordered four glass containers that will be perfect for ground meat in the freezer. The switch from plastic to glass is going fairly well. I guess I've spent about $100 for glass containers, some from walmart and mostly from amazon. I have to go for the best prices and more often than not amazon has the best, but sometimes they are better at walmart. I'm also switching from wheat flour to coconut flour, although I don't use flour for very much.
I'm saving some money on things from amazon by using subscribe and save. I know some people are avoiding amazon and God only knows what the hell bezos is doing behind the scenes but I still have to look for the best price. In addition all the companies that we use their products there is no telling what they are doing. I pray for the next generations for what they will have to endure, but unfortunately many folks will follow along like sheep because they don't know any better. That includes my daughters in law, who also influence my sons, although me sons know better in their hearts.
We use both Amazon and Walmart..
We are not going to add to our expenses just to boycott a major retailer...
There are items that we would need to drive in excess of 100 miles to obtain locally... not happening...time and gasoline are too dear...to be waisted that way.....
Celebrate with me! The dead ash has been removed, area cleaned up, and holes from the bucket truck stabilizers filled in. No injuries, not even cut fingers.
It's a huge relief having it gone. High winds and t-storms are in the forecast for tomorrow, but I'll rest easier since the tree is gone.
I don't know what is going up in its place, but I will plant something suitable and hardy that won't overgrow the lot or make a mess.
Yay for the tree removal! I noticed a limb on an oak tree that has me worried.Celebrate with me! The dead ash has been removed, area cleaned up, and holes from the bucket truck stabilizers filled in. No injuries, not even cut fingers.

Flicked the first cicada off the porch but haven't really heard them yet.
Haven't heard any, I did see something fly at my office window that I didn't recognize, but it was just one. It looked like we were just outside the area predicted to have them.Does anyone else, besides us, have cicadas this year? Gosh, they are everywhere, and the noise is awful. The woods surrounding us must be full of them, and I'm finding their shells all over the porch and deck.

There are several groups that are emerging this year. You mean there was a prediction about them somewhere? I don't know if we fall under that, or not, but we sure have them.
It looks to me like God is providing younger, stronger bodies to help with your ongoing to-do list! Don't be afraid to take advantage of it!Looks like we just added another grand and a grand dog to family. Think I am going to have to start writing them all down.

Yes, there was a map with the predicted areas. No clue where it is. I looked it upYou mean there was a prediction about them somewhere? I don't know if we fall under that, or not, but we sure have them.

Where billions of cicadas will emerge this spring (and over the next decade), in one map
Cicadas will hear the call of spring. And then you’ll hear their mating calls, too.www.vox.com
and that thing that flew up to my office window looked like the one pictured.
I've only seen one so far.Does anyone else, besides us, have cicadas this year? Gosh, they are everywhere, and the noise is awful. The woods surrounding us must be full of them, and I'm finding their shells all over the porch and deck.
I haven’t seen or heard any here and I’m not sure if we’re going to have them (at least to the extent) that other parts of TN are predicted to have.Does anyone else, besides us, have cicadas this year?
