Just a heads up for Florida people -- there has been a case seen in an ER in Central Florida, very mild, probably the corona virus that goes around like all the other viruses. There are quite a few strains and only four are the bad ones. The test they use to determine flu will also indicate corona virus as well as other viruses, so there is testing available.
I do not want to give any location information on where the patient was treated. It is probably within 15 miles of me and I now live in Lakeland Highlands (no more EYW, now it is GIF -- LOL)

I am disinclined to abandon my debit card in favor of cash. Much cleaner, in my mind, to use a single plastic card I can sanitize than to wrangle a bunch of cash that's been who-knows-where and is contaminated with who-knows-what.
Went grocery shopping today with an antimicrobial wipe stuck in my jacket pocket. Used my right index finger for all touching of potentially germy surfaces--opening refrigeration cases, entering my PIN in the point of sale terminal, etc. Touch, then immediately scrub off the finger with the wipe. A generous dose of hand sanitizer once back in the car. Perfect? No. Satisfactory for the current situation? I believe so. YMMV.

I'm not trying to be contentious, but this simply can't be true. The most innacurate test for influenza is an enzyme linked immunoassay. It uses the specificity of antibodies for detection. Influenza and Covid have dramatically different antigenic sites that are not shared between the two viruses. It would be impossible for the influenza test to detect the coronavirus.
That is actually the primary reason that we do not have a rapid-test for this virus. We have to have an ability to produce monoclonal antibodies to Corona on a mass scale to create the test kits. Right now we rely on gene amplification technology to test for the actual segment of the Covid virus RNA.
The confusion comes from the commerically available PCR testing for respiratory bugs. It will detect the coronavirus but NOT Covid. The RNA is too different between the "common cold" coronavirus and Covid.

I have learned over my long life when someone says "I don't mean to be or I don't want to be --whatever-- BUT,' that is exactly what they want to be. I am reporting information told to me by a person who works at that hospital and had contact with the patient. So, whatever, if it is good enough for the medical personnel at that hospital to use then I will take their word for it.
And I did say corona virus. If the patient had serious symptoms that might indicate one of the serious strains. one would assume they would have received more serious treatment and testing than this patient received.

Stay away from Chanka Piedra. I used it heavily (organic variety) to try to get rid of a big kidney stone. That was the only change in my diet. After a few months I got gastric cancer. I still have the stone. Now the big C is stage 4.

One thing the US has done that I predict will not go down well with the public. HHS just testified that there was no shortage of PPE, however, N95 masks could become border line. That is not what the public is experiencing. They are very difficult to find, as are even surgical masks.
EVERY country has photos of the public wearing masks once the disease gets started. It is mandatory in many countries. Is the Administration going to be able to continue to say that everyday people don't need "protection" because it is of little value, but medical professionals need N95 masks to protect them? Ain't gonna fly when your kids go without but kids all over the world have protection.
What about transmittal? You know that telling Waldo to stay home when he feels sick is not going to happen if he needs a paycheck. (It doesn't now.) Surgical masks at least minimize droplet spread.
They have 1 US manufacturer of surgical masks in an almost empty factory in TX. Can they subsidize him in some way to expand production without leaving him vulnerable when the pandemic subsides to layoffs and bankruptcy? A new case of coronavirus was confirmed in the United States on Wednesday as several other countries also confirmed new cases and deaths, and President Trump called for a 6:30 p.m. news conference with officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and others to discuss the spread of the virus. He accused the media of stoking panic about financial markets.
The Dow Jones industrial average endured its worst two-day slump in four years Tuesday. On Wednesday, it was up 300 points shortly after open, but closed down about 124 points.
On European and Asian financial markets, economic alarms continued to flash, however, with cases spreading and little sign that the epidemic was relenting after the CDC warned of the “inevitable” spread in the United States of covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.
France reported the first death of a French citizen from the epidemic as cases grew rapidly across Europe, with Spain confirming eight new cases in the past 24 hours and new infections reported in Germany, Greece, France, Croatia, Austria and Switzerland. A new case in Brazil marks the first known case in Latin America. Although China announced a decline in new confirmed cases on Wednesday, the number of infected people soared in South Korea to more than 1,200, with more expected in the coming days as the state attempts to test 200,000 people.

Been doing that for about 3 years. My kidneys seem to function better. I use to have kidney pain but after starting using CP it went away. I believe it has dissolved the sand that builds up over time.
Last physical I had. Dr. Said my kidney function was completely normal.
