The WH press pool, which was gathered outside Mar-a-Lago, has been told to stand down for the morning. That means @realDonaldTrump will not be going to his golf course and will not be making a statement about the strikes at least for the next several hours.

Two things. Number one is I wouldn’t want to underwrite the life insurance on the guy that was just promoted to replace Qassem. And number two the Ayatollah was gambling that Trump’s overarching priority in the new election year is not to do anything to risk the stock market that Trump has taken credit for. He was probably thinking he had free reign to stir the pot until next November. He guessed wrong.

Any US high official traveling overseas is now a target.

For something this big, I expect an attack of some sort here in the DC area. Symbolic but bloody.
If Iran has a nuke, expect it to be brought in and set off in DC. If they don't have a functional device then I expect an RDD attack.
The strait of Hormuz will be shut down by Iran; with any western tanker currently in the strait being targeted by Iranian gunboats.

Hezbollah will light Israel up with rocket attacks.
Oh, I think they'll try to block Hormuz. But it won't last long. The Navy won't let them mine it; they'll be blasted into space if they try that.

I don't see them going full nuke, though; not with Israel right next door. They know their limits.

US Killing of Iranian Military Leader leads to turbulences in complacent markets & puts brakes on the global stock rally. Brent oil gained as much as 5%. German benchmark index Dax slumps 2% while fear index VDax jumps.

I am somewhat conflicted on this. The two places that are anti-Trump and anti-Conservative are possibly the two places that retaliation is most likely to occur (initially).

Also "the land of emote." And emote knows no bounds when a direct confrontation is experienced. Think "revenge." Also think to the NYC response after 9-11. No greater supporter to American interests than NYC after 9-11.

Might be a turning point for support for Trump's protection of US Interests. All those other things like a border wall, tightening green card and illegal entry into the US, stiffening voter registration and eliminating "Motor-Voter" rules.

All US interest the Dems forgot in re-election quest.

This does make a man think. Was this Trumps game plan, or a trusted military man's? Or, was it a deep state plan to get the ball rolling?

The repercusions are somewhat clear, or at least their options. The easiest is to tell the sleeper cells to go hot in the US.
Top down, bam it's underway. It's potentially end game USA, if they don't pull any punches. The grid is so vulnerable.

Perhaps they go all out after Israel as well. I'm sure if they do Israel, they do the US simultaneously.

Going tit for tat in Iraq serves them no purpose.

The question is how prepared is our military for their role, as things play out? How far will they pursue the enemy?
How prepared are we, if this does go south? I'd have an eye on things as I make some wise purchases.
I believe one of Trump's strengths is allowing those who know how to do it, to do it.
When our Embassy was attacked that was an act of war. Obama and Hillary allowed our enemies to get away free with Bengazi. Pres. Trump is a whole new ballgame and if Pelosi and her gang continue to work against the interests of America, especially now, I hope they hang for treason.
I hope our military is prepared and I believe they are this just might be the first time they haven't been hamstrung by politicians.

CapEcon: If Iran Closes The Strait Of Hormuz, Crude Would Jump To $150
Um. You've been there before. IIRC $150 per bbl translates into about $3.50 per gallon.

(There is not a direct correlation between crude price and pump price - the two do "track" but market force/demand affects not only the crude markets but also the refined market - separately. One of the reasons for the nation's "Strategic Reserve" which IIRC has been tapped into. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (United States) - Wikipedia)

Also when thinking of enemies having to think long and hard on their ‘retaliation’

Seem’s the Dem’s and Deep State media haven’t quite had time to test out the ‘appropriate’ response.

Guess Trump continues to own the news cycle and just signed an extension on his long term lease of the space in the Dem’s heads.

Deblasio in anti terror mode is too much not with the blood of Jews on his hands all last week. Next, Paul John Watson, of info wars has a good piece on all the Hezzbollah sleeper cells that nobody thinks are here in CONUS. The link is here if it lasts long enough. I have also given up posting from my Samsung 6 cell phone.

I hope he shot his speech writer

I know. So which is most likely to occur, (deepstate hail mary or presidential powers enactment?) and even though CoG is legally sound, and some (you!) Would say long over due... It looks and smells awful and as an abuse of power to the masses...how would we come out the other side of that?!
[/QUOTE

Deloused of communnist, islam and PC snowflakes and most of all media and DC traitors......a win win.

#Iran's Supreme National Security Council: The council, in its emergency meeting today, has taken appropriate decisions, and declares that the #US regime will be responsible for all the consequences of this criminal adventure.

Nana note
ETA: at least some of the funerals will be held Saturday; I don't think they will do anything before Sunday and probably even later than that.

ETA 2: of course Sunday their time could be late Sat our time.

This is one of Trump's finer "Hold my diet coke and watch this" moments.

A lot of folks and material can be moved into the area in 39 days.

Yes he was. Good to see that the USA has lead back in its pencil. It really sucked being impotent for so long.
