Are you sure about that?

That's an intriguing (and scary) thought.Well, the next few weeks should put an end to the long running controversy over whether there are sleeper cells embedded here in the States. Either they will act, or they never existed.
In this thread, a couple of pages back.Link please?
Oh, I think they'll try to block Hormuz. But it won't last long. The Navy won't let them mine it; they'll be blasted into space if they try that.Any US high official traveling overseas is now a target.
For something this big, I expect an attack of some sort here in the DC area. Symbolic but bloody.
If Iran has a nuke, expect it to be brought in and set off in DC. If they don't have a functional device then I expect an RDD attack.
The strait of Hormuz will be shut down by Iran; with any western tanker currently in the strait being targeted by Iranian gunboats.
Hezbollah will light Israel up with rocket attacks.
Osint could be correct, I don't know, but that pic is old. It has been around since at least October of 2019 if not longer.
You bet your sweet bippy he did!You bet your bippy, vato....
I believe one of Trump's strengths is allowing those who know how to do it, to do it.This does make a man think. Was this Trumps game plan, or a trusted military man's? Or, was it a deep state plan to get the ball rolling?
The repercusions are somewhat clear, or at least their options. The easiest is to tell the sleeper cells to go hot in the US.
Top down, bam it's underway. It's potentially end game USA, if they don't pull any punches. The grid is so vulnerable.
Perhaps they go all out after Israel as well. I'm sure if they do Israel, they do the US simultaneously.
Going tit for tat in Iraq serves them no purpose.
The question is how prepared is our military for their role, as things play out? How far will they pursue the enemy?
How prepared are we, if this does go south? I'd have an eye on things as I make some wise purchases.
Um. You've been there before. IIRC $150 per bbl translates into about $3.50 per gallon.zerohedge @zerohedge 1m1 minute ago

Two things. Number one is I wouldn’t want to underwrite the life insurance on the guy that was just promoted to replace Qassem. And number two the Ayatollah was gambling that Trump’s overarching priority in the new election year is not to do anything to risk the stock market that Trump has taken credit for. He was probably thinking he had free reign to stir the pot until next November. He guessed wrong.
'You can't do a damn thing!' Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei hits back at Donald Trump after the president threatened to make him pay a 'big price' for US embassy attack
I know. So which is most likely to occur, (deepstate hail mary or presidential powers enactment?) and even though CoG is legally sound, and some (you!) Would say long over due... It looks and smells awful and as an abuse of power to the masses...how would we come out the other side of that?!

Nana note
ETA: at least some of the funerals will be held Saturday; I don't think they will do anything before Sunday and probably even later than that.
ETA 2: of course Sunday their time could be late Sat our time.

Random Jottings: 40-day cycles... It's not over yet
www.randomjottings.net/archives/003907.html
Jun 21, 2009Shiite Muslims mourn their dead on the third, seventh and 40th days after a death, and these commemorations are a pivotal part of Iran's rich history. During the revolution, the pattern of confrontations between the shah's security forces and the revolutionaries often played out in 40-day cycles...
