I'm not one to report rumors and gossip. And at first I just tossed off the report as idle speculation or misidentification. But… based on the confessions that have come out on this thread, the report I heard may fall better into the category of "congratulations are in order," and may be news that should be shared with the board. So here goes.

Not long ago some little sprite whispered in my ear that he'd seen AO, PP and Flint lined up "just close enough for comfort" at the town clerk's office in XXXX, Massachusetts. The story goes that the clerk was freaking out because she had new forms that included "wife" and "wife," and "husband" and "husband," but she didn't have any forms that said "wife" and "wife" and "husband," or "wife" and "husband" and "husband," or "wife" and "wife" and "wife," or "husband" and "husband" and "husband."

The story continues that there were numerous emotional outbursts from AO and PP screaming at each other, "You said you'd be in the middle,” “No, I said I'd be on the bottom," "Well what's the difference between the bottom and the front anyway?" and so on. Flint, in his traditional measured tones, quietly stated, "I am going to be the head of the household, which the Bible says makes me the husband. So you two bitches figure it out and get back (back into? -- story was fuzzy here) me."

Truly, I was not going to repeat this. But based on prior statements in the thread I felt it was relevant.
