After a couple of years talking about TB2K, it's nice to become a member. I believe in the win-win attitude: helping those around you win, will make you a winner by default. I hope our next president will be an actual leader and will rule for America, to be America as it was intended. Veterans and veteran-minded citizens will be pivotal in the survival of America! I welcome myself aboard.-) Salute!

Good afternoon guys, this is my newbie check in requirement. Just FYI, I'm a retired army soldier, retired in 1994, currently live in PA near Philadelphia. Glad to be here seems to be a very informative board. Thank you Deena for granting board access.

Very happy to be aboard after lurking since at least 2007 or so after getting fed up with TTOL. You have been my main source of world news ever since.

My forum name means stubborn mule more or less.

This is the first time I've been back in many years and used to live in Georgia. Lived in Boise, Idaho for about one year before moving to the Las Cruces, NM area. I've been living along the borderland for approaching 4.5 years. I asked to return last weekend and am back as things are in a huge amount of chaos. I also made a small donation today to help with the cost of keeping the website running. I still enjoy monitoring law enforcement traffic as well as military from Ft. Bliss, White Sands Missile Base, and Holloman AFB.

Hi I am a long time lurker who has come in from the dark. Thank you for all the great posts and information I have read over the years . I have frequently come to this board to be able to get much information on a number of worthwhile topics. I hope I will be able to contribute in sme way to the quality of content.

Hi, I've been around for years, but always posted under Joey my husband, Joey past away two months ago, after a long illness. We had been married 49 years. I have to learn to do things on my own so this is a start. I already now most of you and always enjoy your input, even thought I don't post very much. Now that I am not taking care of Joey maybe I will have more time to post.

Sleepyeddie here. I use to be a member here and maybe did not post enough. I have spent most of my time on the TOL. But lately it seems a little light on participation so I have migrated over here. I don`t post much. Usually when I get in a certain mood or feel strongly about something. I hope I can be of value here.

Little more info

Thought maybe I should tell you a little more about myself. Like many of you I'm a mix of different things, county boy,woodsman,river rat, lived in a big city awhile(hated it) now I'm in a town of about 7,000. I'm ex navy (gunner, boson) SSDF (ships self defense force) I was on a destroyer tender, 2nd largest ship in the fleet. I live and die for my beautiful wife and my buddy Zeus (chiuwaaw beagle mix) without those two I'd be lost. I have two kids from ex wife both in their 20's out on their own and doing great. Went to school for wildlife biologist but right now I'm in restaurant management. I love OUR country , not the country this SOB's are trying to change it into, the things our forefathers fought and died to be free from. I love Obama NOT lol
I'm 45 my givin name is Brandon but I've been called Bear from the day I was borne.
