Absolutely.
Trump has to play this wisely, but he cannot be led by the nose by the media (and I don't believe he will). The media LOVES to stir the crisis pot and try to make any leader they dislike look flat-footed with their response. Meanwhile, they will look all concerned as if they have only YOUR best interests in mind.
Trump has to wade through the BS while still providing a robust response to whatever this virus may develop into. I don't envy his position here.
