Neither here nor there.
This weeks chat is the "I'm melting from this heat" version so backing away from the fire just a wee bit and am adding more fans to my studio.
I haven't been up to much today other than making labels, taking inventory, and packing stuff up to hang a solo show at a church in Des Moines tomorrow, for the month of July. That and trying to figure out what to cook in this horrible heat that takes minimal work. OC dug out another fan for me, no AC or CA here in our house, so I may be able to start stitching come Monday.
How do you guys cope with this heat and humidity when it comes to stitching and crafting?

Summer knitting, even wool doesn't bother me. Beats yard work and house work. Both badly need doing right now, and BF will be returning home tomorrow after visiting family. But, dang...it is TOO DAMN HOT! My feet and ankles swell in the heat (regardless, apparently, of what I do or don't eat). Right now, they look like tree stumps, and I can feel the pressure under the skin, and between the toes. Fall can't come soon enough.
Week of July 6?
Week of July 6?
No crafting here, just packing, painting, fixing and keeping the sheep as cool as possible
Are you keeping your livestock?
Oh yes!! My breeding program is really starting to produce the micron counts we have been aiming for! I had two ewes test at 14.9 and 17.1. We raise Merino's.
