I've been told I'm a double Scorpio, whatever that means. But people who've looked at my chart look at me and kinda take a step back? Is that good or bad?

Only someone with at least some astrological knowledge would say that. Scorpio has a mystique all their own, they can be murderers or saints, mostly powerful type people, good at hiding it, or don't hide it. Usually Intense about stuff they care about. It all depends on where things are in the chart, aspects to planets, the stepping back prolly because of their incomplete knowledge (& therefore awe from what they've heard) of astrology and that particular sign. You could say all the above about any sign, really, depends.

INTJ-A. Female. But I have to admit that the female portion depends on what task I’m engaged in. Yeah, I am always female, but you may not know it if you don’t have eyes on me. I’d just rather ignore the gender part in *most* things so I can get on with fixing whatever you need to have fixed. If you act right, we will do gender. But you must intrigue my mind first.

A lot of the women here are INTJ's and we have spent our whole lives being dismissed as frelling idiots because of our sex.
A little anonymity is to be expected. Get more respect that way. It just is.

Being married to an INTJ women anyone that dismisses them as idiots....IS AN IDIOT!! Of course being an INTJ myself and on my third marriage (far too many women can't deal with military life....and responsibilities) I can say that my INTJ partner (for the last 26 years) is the easiest person I've ever been with. We finish each others sentences. We know what the other is thinking and we accept that we each need our own time without hassles. AND.....most of all, she accepted my military career for what it was....a career but not more important than her, but when the government says go....you go.

INTJs make up about 2% of the population at large, but over 40% on this forum. No wonder things get “testy”.

Easy. Gender is something in language, like the "case" of the word "the" in German. Sex is whether you're an XX or XY. (Yes, Melodi, I'm aware of the occasional chromosomal equivalent of food that is both burnt and rotten; those rare mistakes should be considered irrelevant.) Any other opinion on this is either ignorant or mendacious.
