HEALTH Which vaccines are safe?

LMAO.
Thats so far out of context its silly.
I think they are talking about the Jews being experimented upon without their permission. Same as now with the covid shots. People willingly take them without informed consent. Truth about bad reactions are being hidden and suppressed.

I think the point is that while cancer may have existed in the past, it certainly wasn’t as commonplace as it is now. I’m willing to bet there isn’t a single person in this country who doesn’t know someone who died of cancer. And I’m also willing to bet that when my grandpa was young in the 20s and 30s, most everyone didn’t know a single soul that died of cancer. That’s a huge 180 in only 100 years.
I agree totally.

Hogwash. Why do you think it takes so long for new stuff to get FDA approval? Clinical trials.

Yep, and clinical trials USED to be independent from the manufacturer, supervised by NIH. I participated in trials for 20 years.

But that changed in last decade. Now, trials are conducted by manufacturer, and FDA reviews their data for approval. That has created MAJOR issues with new medications. I have specifically been impacted by Gilead and their failure to include dramatic metabolic changes induced by integrase inhibitors (I gained 40 lbs in a month. Chloresterol shot thru the roof.)
I protested and demanded my doctor switch me BACK. It’s taken over 6 months to lose that weight AGAIN dammit! No diet needed however, it’s falling naturally.

Now, RETROSPECTIVE studies by NIH are exposing this adverse reaction...only after 90% of market pushed onto their ‘so much better’ medications.

There’s a reason vaccine Phase III trials take YEARS. If the vaccine allows infection and transmission, it selectively drives more virulent mutations. Viral escape. Resistance. This is EXACTLY what’s happening in S. America now with the Lambda variant.

We’ve created the perfect global Petri dish with GLOBAL Phase III trials.

There is a video somewhere made years ago of some laughing scientist talking about cancer in some vaccine made from monkeys and they were trying to get some other monkey that did not have cancer genes or something.
Dr. Horowitz talked about that. Many yrs ago I heard the tape of doctors laughing and saying that all the Russians who got the polio shots were going to have tumors all over their body from the polio vaccine that was contaminated with monkey virus. That story is true. I am just past 70 now and back in the late 1950's I received 2 polio shots. I didn't get the 3rd one. Now I have lipomas on my arms and legs. One on hip and one on wrist. Here and there. I think it's from the vaccine. At age 19 I had my first one on my thigh. Now I have more.

Some of you may want to check with your Doctor. The amount of Dr. Google in this thread is apparent.
Dr. Google is only as good as the patient’s ability to research, discern, and comprehend what they find.

My doctor accused me of googling and fearmongering when I advised in January I had contracted alpha-gal syndrome, and suspected it was severe. Then she prescribed colonoscopy for my symptoms, readied a flu shot.
I REFUSED, and told her it’ll drive me into anaphylaxis. She said that was treatable....still not believing me.
I demanded an allergist referral if she wanted my compliance.

I returned to her 3 months later with my diagnosis confirmed, red flags in my EHR, warnings about medical exposures. Yep...colonoscopy would have put me into ICU, and that flu shot would too. Seeing that dawn on her was a real sight to see
Only THEN did she bother to ask ME what my research indicated for a prognosis.
Very HUMBLY I might add.

Before I went into it...I told her...

“I don’t read Mother Jones or Mike Adams. I dare say my first exposure to a university medical library at age 14 well predated yours. I read NIH and university research papers for fun. Yes there’s crazy stuff found using Google...but there’s also information from people with more knowledge and intelligence than EITHER of us.”

Diagnostic skills and autopsies have improved a bit. Bet none of the friends/family of those Egyptians could say they knew cancer victims either. Didn't mean there weren't others.
Yeah, I lost both parents to cancer, but since my Dad was born in 1900 it ain't too likely he'd have had any childhood vaccinations. He did smoke but still made it to 72, probably well past the life expectancy of most his age.

Those of us who got the smallpox vax way back when (but never had the actual disease) may only have about 5% immunity left by now. And, that's not even taking into account that several Evil Empire countries were reported decades ago to be researching smallpox strains fully immune to all the existing vaccines in railroad tank car size quantities. Remember that Soviet Army troops stopped being vaccinated against it in 1980 -- and started up again in 1984, and draw what conclusions you will.

I think it's a monkey cancer virus. SV something.

There's a Dr. who asserted that vaccines were the root cause the explosion in cases of the big C.

ETA: it's Judy Mikovits, and my statement above was based on an interview I watched; don't have the link any more. (Thanks to a different post by Doz for the reminder...)

Whether she's on to something or a loon misinformed, I cannot say.

Can't remember her name... she was involved in the discovery of the HIV virus, and Fauxi was somehow involved in withholding their work till his associate published first, according to the story. (IIRC)

Mikovitz is extremely smart doctor! I would tend to believe her.

I was told by doctor that tetnanus shot lasts ten yrs.
Funny we are talking about tetnanus shots. My old mechanic just texted me and said he was using a nail gun and put a roof nail thro his thumb. He went to the drugstore and they gave him a tetnanus shot. I told him to use peroxide to clean it and the antibiotic ointment and bandaid. He said he pulled the nail out. OUCH!

We've been considering getting a booster on our tetanus vaccine. In the future where survival will be our main concen, nasty accidents will happen. I don't want to face that possibility without a tetanus vaccine.
I am due a tetanus booster. Talked with my doc and she said to just wait until injury. She went onto say you have about 48 hours to do this in. I was sick at the time so couldn’t have it anyway. But since I’m out barefoot all the time, I kind of want to get it anyway rather than wait for injury.

But there is an advantage doing it this way: your booster will be good for a longer period. Nevertheless, I may do it instead of waiting. Preparing for a shortage and all that.

Yeah. I don't want to wait for an injury. If, at some point, we are denied medical care (unvaxed, or whatever other reason), how do we know that we can get one when needed? I like to plan ahead if at all possible. I haven't had a booster , since my back surgery. That was 20 years ago.

I hate that I know more than these so called "doctors" we have anymore. Early this year, I spent 8 weeks in abject misery from a skin problem. The Horrendously expensive cream, didn't touch it. I cured it in ONE DAY when I suspected something else, bought a 1.98$ tube of off the counter stuff and it was GONE.
And they wonder why we despise them.

The ongoing controversies regarding the Covid vaccines (and no, I haven't had one and refuse to get one) have led me to wonder what other vaccines might be harmful.

Other than tetanus (twice since Hurricane Katrina), I haven't had any vaccines since my earlier adulthood. When I was deployed with the old South African Army we had various injections, but after all these decades, I don't remember what they were. Other than that, I had the usual childhood vaccines (polio and other pediatric vaxes) as a child.

So, what vaccines do readers here consider to be safe (if any)? I welcome replies from everyone on this thread, but if you have special medical or scientific expertise please note that in your post.

Did you hear what all the .....Director of Public Health for MS said the other day? He later apologized.

He was all bent out of shape over us non-vac's.

I didn't caught what he said only the apology.

I've felt that way several times but kept my mouth shut. I fired the inferior docs and looked for better ones. They are out there. Also, you don't always need diagnostics from the super genus: it's fine to get generic prescription meds that you know work from an NP at an affordable clinic (I pay out of pocket for minor stuff). The trick is knowing when you can treat yourself with herbs, when to go see the NP, and when you need the super genus and some tests. That's what I hate: having to make those determinations. I don't have a background in medicine -- I've been learning on the fly -- this is where I wish I had a really good NP or general doc in my circle I could do labor exchanges with . . .

I wonder if the pneumonia vax would help with the prevention of a bad case of Covid?

I doubt it, but it might keep you have having both pneumonia and Covid at the same time, which could be a lethal combination.

I'm in my 60s and have had discussions in my 50s about getting the pneumonia vax about age 62 or so from docs I trusted. Again, it's not something I'm going to rush out and do next week, but I'll keep researching and asking questions.

I have read that NONE of the children's vaccines have ever been tested to see if they are safe. NONE! I disagree with you. None have even been "tested" on children in a clinical trial. NONE!!
And I've read that Alexander Graham Bell said not to trust everything you read in the internet. ;)

And where did you read that? On the Internet? Let’s see some article links and citations please. Let the rest of us judge the veracity of the website.

“I KNOW it’s true; I read it on the Internet” just doesn’t hold water for most of us.
So - time to post your data.

Details?
Skin problem?
Off the counter stuff?
C'mon, what?

O.W.
Female very young doc, wouldn't touch me or take a skin sample. After looking up stuff on internet, she decided I had scabies. I spent almost two months scratching my skin off, she prescribed permethrin. 70$ for a small tube. It DID NOT help at all. This was on my torso, odd place for much of anything.
I'd had enough and decided I was gonna go shopping at Wally world, mainly because I thought it was something related to athletes foot... 1 tube of athlete's foot stuff, fixed it in under 24 hours...
I frickin hate doctors, especially very young ones. I've never had athletes foot anywhere before, let alone on my feet, it's a fungus from my understanding. I'm still mad at all the misery she caused me.

The fungus lives inside you. Didn't know that till I stepped on a nail and had to take antibiotics. Stupid doctor called it something else otherwise I would have told him to go to hell with Amoxicillin. Well I took it and it murdered most of my gut culture. The displacement allowed the fungus that causes athletes foot to move in. Athletes butt aint fun let me tell you. A month of yogurt, probiotics, and cream GTG.

I only do the tetanus (3 in 1) shot now-a-days and I'm forced to get the flu shot for work. Honestly, I'm starting to think that those studies that say that modern cleanliness actually eliminated most diseases and not vaccines are onto something. As far as I know the Amish don't vaccinate near like the rest of us do and they haven't died off in droves.

I’ve selected a new vet for the pups. The one I’ve been using for years went all in for under-30 female docs. Not a swinging dick in the building now. The last time I took Hairy there, one of them comes zooming into the room straight at him. He reacted badly to that. I told her that when approaching a dog for the first time, slow down and be calm and quiet. She would have none of what I had to say. So now they don’t get my money anymore.

In order to survive leukemia, I had a stem cell transplant at age 61.
It worked.
But as a result I had the immune system of an infant.
SO, I got to have ALL my childhood shots all over again (MMR, Polio, tetanus... it was a long list).
It worked. It would have been embarrassing to get measles in my sixties.

Doc, my take on vaccines is this : like any other medication or procedure it is always a risk/reward calculation.

No vaccine is risk free. You always have to weigh your own personal health risks both with and without the vaccine to decide what you are going to do.

For instance, I'm asthmatic, have been all my life. I've had frequent chest infections. I was offered the pneumonia vax earlier than the standard age for it and I took it and I am not sorry. I've had far fewer chest infections since I did that.

Others who may not have the same issue as me might decline it.

In general, I also only really believe in taking a vax for a disease that could really mess you up and do permanent damage or kill you, and only for things I'm truly at risk for.

I think things like the chickenpox vax are kind of dumb, just get it as a kid and get it over with.

Polio, on the other hand, is a definite "take" vaccine.

I also don't believe in loading a kid up with a pile of vaccines at one appointment. If I had a kid (I don't) I'd only vax for the serious stuff and I'd spread it out over a reasonable interval. Hell, we do that with the dog LOL.

I really wish I trusted one of the Covid vaccines. I'm pretty scared of that virus but the vaccine side effects (clots, neuro problems) are a risk I don't feel comfortable with taking. So, I just try to stay away from everyone, which really isnt tough these days LOL.
